Happy New Year to everyone. I don't really have a message other than gratitude. Thank you for being along for the ride even if I've produced nothing as of late. Hopefully 2025 I'll release the civilian car project but I don't foresee any updates to playable vehicles. I've kind of run out of ideas. Anything that we add now (apart from helicopters) is just another variation or a vehicle which serves no purpose ingame. I'll consider my options but right now I'm thinking of a break from modding this new year. I'll come back when I have more motivation, time and ideas. I'll still keep to my promises no matter how late they come, at least.10 points

Alright besties. We're moving again. After a long long time of wading and wallowing in a lake of indeceison, my ass has been whooped into shape and some meaningful progress has been made with the team. We finally decided on a map area! 1:1 maps are hard but composite maps are hard too. After flip flopping between a dozen different ideas since the thread began, we finally decided to create a fictionalized, scaled, representation of the northeast section of Harlem, centering around the NYPD's 25th Precinct. By finally finding an area to focus on, we've unjammed the creative block we've all been suffering by trying to focus on so much to make. Now, we have specific, clear goals for what we're including, and with that we can move forward at an accelerated pace. So, to contradict my previous statement, expect some more screenshots and overall a lot more activity on the thread.9 points

I have very good news. The mysterious LAFD Ford Aerostar van has been found. Facebook retirees claim it is an EMS Supervisor vehicle. It shall be added to the mod. Thank you Sandra Lee.9 points

Spend as much time as you want outside this summer, you won't miss anything from us. We're a group of incredibly busy perfectionists. We work slowly and second-guess ourselves constantly. Progress and teasers will drop throughout the summer as often as I'm reminded to try and work on something.8 points

I don't really know what I'm doing anymore. I'm procrastinating the release of the mod, by making even more content for it. I'm trying to find motivation to actually model the remaining NPC passenger cars. In the mean time, these completed truck models will have to be settle? Have I sent these before? Maybe I did already. This is all I could come up with, in the last few months. After some consultation with GTA modders, I am happy to announce the confirmation of an Airport PD Caprice, a 1992. This is the best we can find. I am hopeful for a better picture to be found someday. Who knows what else is out there.7 points

Surprise, It's still going! Since my last development photo I built a new computer at the start of 2022 which didn't have a drive to install the disk version of EM4 so it was only until recently I bought an external one to install it. I come back with a shot from the map which shows an electricity substation along with a construction site behind and more New York housing.7 points

It's been a long time coming. I've wanted this for a while and I finally have the mental fortitude to actually make it. I'm looking forward to when I'm able to put the equipment and paint on this thing. It's gonna be so rad.6 points

Most of them have been lost to Discord. This is the only non-destructive image link that I have. Unfortunately it is a few months old.6 points

Thank you everyone. Really appreciate the greetings. Just finishing up the last 10 or so civilian vehicles that need to be modelled. I hope to have results in a few more months. This will be the last big update to the mod. I don't have much left in me but I am having fun at least.6 points

This would have gotten you executed when EMP was in its prime. That being said summer is here and as a member of the mod team I plan on spending as much of it intoxicated on my deck and maybe doing some traveling, I highly suggest you do the same and don't waste your summer3 points

Quite a bit! I'm just terribly shy and I don't like to share my work until I'm totally confident in it's quality/"done"-ness. With that being said, I've stepped away from this project for a time to focus more on my collaborative project Project NYStalgia.2 points

Just stopping by to say "New Spec Found". I wasn't sure if LAFD had 72 Matadors but it appears they did. The speaker setup on these is goofy.2 points

Hey, just wondering since it's been a long while since anything has been posted or said, what's the status looking like? What still needs to be finished? Is there anything new? Have the creators been busy? Has this project gone dormant? There's no spite behind this message, just genuine curiosity. I've been following this project since it started and I think I speak for just about everyone when I say that I would absolutely love this mod to come out one day, this is by far the greatest modification the EM4 community has ever seen- It would be terrible to see it fall short. Best of luck!2 points

Folks, I’ve got a project here I’m very excited to share with you all. Just about two years in the making, in quiet group chats and google drives, I am very happy to officially announce Project NYstalgia, a mod themed around New York City circa 1993. If you’ve followed me around on Discord since 2021, you might recognize this as “that private edit I was messing around with.” Well, since then it’s been torn down and rebuilt more times than I’ve bothered to keep count of. A few times, I even got damn close to shelving the whole project. But, I get by with a little help from my friends, who have pestered me and made sure that this mod stays in my head. There are many people to be mentioned, but I need to give a particular thanks to @mercurygrandmarquis1 and @Jules617 have provided invaluable research assistance, @Newfoundking has taken some of the load off my shoulders with lighting, and @itchboy has provided a majority of the models. This project is to blame for why Edgewater and Hill Street Blues have gone belly up recently. My focus will bounce back to those, eventually, but I’d like to see this through all the way. When will it be released? When it’s done. When will it be done? When I say so. Anyway, enough of me yapping. You all want screenshots. NYPD Caprices and Econoline van. Vehicle models by Itchboy, textures by mercurygrandmarquis1. Fedsig lightbars by EmC-unit and rihis. NYC EMS Caprice and Bronco Don't worry, we've got regular ambulances on the way Vehicle models by itchboy, textures by mercurygrandmarquis1. MX7000 Lightbar by hoppah LA mod team. New York City Housing & Transit Police Gran Fury and Caprices. Vehicle models by itchboy, textures by mercurygrandmarquis1. Fedsig streethawk lightbar by EmC-unit and rihis. Traffic enforcement Caprice and Taurus Vehicle models by Itchboy, textures by mercurygrandmarquis1. Fedsig lightbars by EmC-unit and rihis.1 point

Hi all, Welcome to the Essex mod page for Emergency 5. Essex is a county in the East of England. One of the home counties, it borders Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to the north, the North Sea to the east, Hertfordshire to the west, Kent across the estuary of the River Thames to the south, and Greater London to the south and south-west. The county town is Chelmsford, which is one of two cities in the county with the other being Southend-on-Sea which was granted city status on the 1st March 2022. Essex mod aims to be the first UK mod for emergency 5, and build a good foundation for other potential UK mods in the future, we are still in early stages of development, Essex mod is a submod to Ludenscheid so because of this we'll be able to share/use most of really good scripts/plugins that really enhance the emergency experience. We really are grateful that we are allowed to do this as I know how much time and effort the LDS team have put into their mod, they continually push the boundaries of the Emergency engine creating the best mod for Emergency 5 to date. I'd also like to give a special mention the the Bieberfelde team for helping me initially get started in Emergency 5 and helping me walk through my first steps in modding this game. What can we expect to see in the mod? Custom high quality models New scripts Custom emergency service buildings New Map ( not in the initial release ) UK Environmental assets/buildings ( slower progress ) The Team Freelancer - Lead Developer/ 3D Artist KillerConsti- Lead Developer/Coder Fishboe - Lead Developer/ 3D Artist Fig - Environmental 3D Artist XxOJLxX-2D Artist Lennard-Coder E.Raw-Research Currie-Research Images/Media We Are Recruiting! Closest firehouses I could find next to the 25th Precinct are Engine 35 Ladder 14 Battalion 12 2282 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10035 FDNY Engine 58 Ladder 26 1367 5th Ave, New York, NY 10029 And the closest hospital in that area would be Mount Sinai 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029 And the closest trauma center would be NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, located at 506 Lenox Ave, New York, NY 10037 Fun fact, the 25th Precinct was used as a exterior shot for the 54 Precinct in Blue Bloods where Danny works as a Detective 1st Grade, part of the Major Case Squad.1 point

Oh trust me, I get the growing up part. I don't have the free time I once did. However, the few remaining projects tend to have like 5 very accomplished devs working in Collab. They post an update once in a blue moon basically just to tease us of projects that will just waste away and never get to be enjoyed by the actual community. Hell I bet we see GTA6 released before we even see just a bug fix patch for Montana Mod 2.5 2.5 years after the release of 2.5(not the original although that would be nice too). How was the core fanbase alienated? I'd say we are the main ones breathing life support in to this forum. And yes forums have being more and more obsolete but check out some of the GTA mod forums. More then alive and well. Even some of the Sim City communities or Cities XL forums are absolutely thriving still.1 point

The wait is finally over. Version 1.0 can now be downloaded: https://clientcdn.emergencyx.de/latest or https://mega.nz/file/hqcykSaC#10vvZGVf8ymdyGfaqGCNR-mdRtt6e0bStXmZb-QEIDg Installation Guide: Install Beaverfield via the Emergency Explorer: Download the Emergency Explorer from the webdisk and install it on your system. direktlink: https://clientcdn.emergencyx.de/latest Navigate to Emergency Explorer > ModStore. Chose the City of Beaverfield modifikation and click on "Download and Install" in the bottom right corner. After that the modification can be activated and started under Emergency 5 > modification. Install Beaverfield manually: Now navigate to your EMERGENCY data directory. Of course, this varies depending on which path you selected during installation or which EMERGENCY version or Steam or Boxed version you are using. If you use the Steam version of EMERGENCY 20, you can find the folder under: YOUR DRIVE:\Steam\steamapps\common\EMERGENCY 20\data If you have installed the boxed version of EMERGENCY 5, you can find the folder under: YOUR DRIVE:\sixteen tons entertainment\EMERGENCY 5\data Now unzip the downloaded ZIP file into the data folder. It is important that the files are not unpacked directly into the data folder, but rather written into a directory called "beaverfield". The modification can then be activated and played normally via the launcher.1 point
