Can you make me a Thai or Chinese knock-off versions of these parts?  My mod requires only the cheapest quality parts available on the market, not brand-name nonsense! ;)

In my country, pretty much every lightbar in every emergency vehicle is a Chinese fake. Maybe I could start a PH mod in the future and model some of those.

If you've got any pics, I might be willing to do one when I'm not busy.

lol, the sad thing is the Chinese have gotten pretty good about knocking things off, even full-blown cars to the point that if you did not notice the logos/emblems you'd think it was the real thing.  I'm sure alot of people get duped with the cheap knock-off on parts these days.

If you want a really strange but rather uncommon project to do (some police did use these things) you could always try your luck at a Whelen Fast Trax lighting system, I personally found them to be extremely ugly, but I'm sure some people would like the things.

I personally can't stand the things, but some major departments around the country did have some of these things, they were popular in Canada in particular.

Looks like the Ford Crown Beluga. Not sure if I want to do that because its something so uncommon apparently. Maybe if a mod I'm working on has one of these then I'll consider making it.

I really really hate the things, none of the agencies I've done used the things (that I've ever found anyway) so it was never a required part for me, it was used by some pretty big departments in North America, but I really can't stand em. Even if one of the agencies that I have needed it, I'd be hard-pressed to make it :D  Twas just a project for you if you wanted something strange/odd to do, someone out there would find a use for it.

I think I threw up a little in my mouth.

Oh come on now, you know you can't wait for someone to have those things in a mod :D lol

Here's the F-series by the China Knock off firm, like I said change the emblems it'd fool me pretty well, same with several other ones they've done.

Oh yeah!  I remember those lightbars. Boston used them alon with other US city's for, city wide traffic enforcement but we only used the rear mount system. I also found a small video on them too :) I tried taken a clear XM700 code 3 lightbar and placing it in the rear of the windshield of a crown vic to give it that effect of Whelen fast trax.

We actually have some of these running around my city. I've so far seen a Silverado copy

and a Hyundai Starex copy

and we have a HiAce copy being used as an ambulance in a neighboring city. Chinese invasion indeed. First they invade our roads, then they will take the Spratly Islands.

Awesome job, buddy. Are they code 3 and federal signal products ? ( except the Whelen vertex ;) ) Can't wait to try them out !

The new LEDs are Federal Signal products to be used in my LA Mod car pack. Thanks to my sources for finding them for me.

Now for a real car.

Charger has been UV mapped.

My fav thing I saw once was the chevy knock-off on a dealer lot with a huge puddle underneath the engine compartment, that bodes well for the quality of said knock-offs :D  Sad thing is most of them they've knocked off they match so closely if you got ahold of a real emblem nobody would know it was the fake till they looked under the hood.

Yeah, funny story. :) But as you mentioned they are potentially dangerous.
