Double posting after talking to yourself.. Smooth..

And we have a community of emergency gamers, and we are well known to the other sites where emergency would be found, however, since this is a fan forum for a game, placing ads along other unrelated sites would not do much except get people we don't want here (don't play the game, just coming to fool around)

What wouldn't? Interviews with modders, current positions on the Emergency Planet site, game tips, walkthroughs,. Just make a new forum for it with admin only posting capabilities for download.

What about a local time hack if it exists? Something that would show the members local time so if were working with some one from a different country, we have an idea of what time it is there by just going to there profile.

uhhh, well if your working with them it should display the times of posts for your time zone if im correct. so really I dont see me using it, but hey mabie others need it. Sounds like it could make things simple though

Exactly, if I work with some one from England,China,Austrilla, hell even if its just working with some one in Canada,Texas, or California, its going to show MY time zone when i look at there posts. Im not saying it should show there time zone on posts, but just something on there profile that says its 7AM there, or 9 AM there.

This topic is mostly negative because Stan asked for what we the members (well mostly you, I'm staff technically ) want to see changed here, so you list all the flaws you see and Stan and his crack team work to fix them all if possible

But possibly another forum system... MyBB, it's free, and a lot like IPB...

1.6 came out and it's really nice.

Why wouldnt you want to switch to MyBB when Stan had already paid $100+ for IPB and only has to pay $100(i think less) a year to keep IPB. Thats around $8 or less a month to keep IPB which has much as I dont care that much for IPB its far better MyBB.

I pay 30$ a year for support and updates, not 100$ The license for lifetime was 299$ when i bought it. So indeed I am not going to change any software

I said I think it was less , I was just going by the current pricing but i know that doesnt apply in your case since you bought IPB before the price hike(wish I would have bought one myself for vB before they did the same thing.
