@itchboy @xplorer4x4 I mean the Lenco Bearcat and BEAR in the LA mod are ok but they aren't up to date. They have a older generation design already. It doesn't really matter but I wwas wondering.

Although neither of us plan on doing a new one, could you at least show me the differences. This might be something to consider for the future.

Are you considering adding in the Dodge Ambulance to that set?

Each have individual numbers right, so how do you get each of them to spawn in game?

Well since it only appears in the editor and NOT INGAME, it is safe to say that it should be ignored.

Also, is the Dodge set up with full doors like the new Fords or is it like the original ALS model?

It doesnt have doors yet. Still working on doing that. Once I find the time...perhaps this weekend, I plan on doing ambulance versions of this Ram and the F Series trucks. I already have a rear ambulance box from my Ford ambulance so all I need to do are the doors and interiors.

Itchboy, are you on a mod team? I'm sure someone would love it if you made vehicles for them. You're far too good to just be pumping out new cars willy-nilly like.

I am currently helping out part time in a few mods. Not really modelling jobs, mostly script related stuff. Apart from that, I dont want to overload myself with commitments here as I dont have time IRL.

I have been messing around with the explorer and e450 ambulance, and i love them!

 

I have a question though, the back left side equipment is completely diamond plating, and I can't change it even with skinning or changing the .v3o file.

 

Any ideas?

A: Does the door have diamond plating when installed on the ambulance?

B: Or is it when you select the door from within the editor?

I think it would take A LOT of work to turn a pick up truck into a SWAT truck. They are very much different from the exterior.
Didnt the LA Mod have a Bearcat in it? SWAT Rescue Truck 1?

A little hint from a guit player: If you want to get better, practice is key. Also, keeping tempo and playing in time is as important as chords and fingering technique.

Just want to give everyone a quick update, I'm still working hard on the map, it's around 20% done at this point, but looking great. BMA and I are in collaboration to make a simple volunteer fire response script, but can't put it to use until the new map is done. Just about every model is being replaced with an American counterpart. Tons of new road signs, road textures, utilities, you name it. Expect new media within a week or so. Feel free to ask questions.

Once this is all out, could I have your permission and blessing to include those US Themed Objects in my mod? A lot of people have asked for those.

An alternative to this is that you could release these objects to the community separately from your mod and give them a more generic theme.

Thanks. It isnt summer anymore here though. Over in this 3rd world country, classes start during rainy season.

Fixed it. This happened because the balloons were set to instantiate on the car.

You said there was an issue with the joke ballons on the crashed Honda Civic? Could you elaborate on it. I am about to release a patch for my mod and want to kill all the bugs in it before I get too busy with real life.

A little announcement:

Since I'm going to college now, progress is going to get slow. Won't be able to be behind the computer often. This doesnt mean the mod will stop. I will still be making new things for it. I am also asking for someone to come forward and partially take over some of my duties in this mod. Hopefully, this will be enough to get content pumping out of here at least once a month.

Could you give a more detailed description of the error code? I would also need your logfile to see what kind of error you have and if possible, a screenshot of the fire station setup you have created. There might be conflicts or issues with what is in the map and what is in the script.

Any chance of a late model ford escape? These are common around most cities for everything from taxi's to security and just personal use.
