I have a surprise coming soon so stay tuned!

Ressurecting this old thread for this:
-
By any chance would you be thinking of doing a European civil car pack in the future as the current on is fairly outdated now
Nahhh..the CCC is a very massive project. Don't want to go up against that. Also, there aren't many european car models that aren't already in that mod. I would rather leave it up to them to update their things as I dont have much knowledge of euro cars.
Personally i dont think so, because from where would you make a ambu etc, personnaly i feel more for jiust a civul car pack.
Im going to release the ambulance as a separate thing. I also plan on doing a moving truck version.
-
Better pictures. Available in regular and extended versions. Should I consider making an ambulance version?
-
Yes. There isnt a model of the new one apart from Nnico's model.
UPDATE: DONE!! -
In that case, someone has to model and animate new gates OR you would have to find a gate model that opens like that.
-
Are you going to be doing any scratch firetrucks or are you gonna use from other mods?
-
-
How do they open or close? Horizontally? If so, then you would need to create a model of the gate and then animate it to open like that.
As for finishing the scripts..I can help. -
Willing to offer my services...can do basic command and mission scripts.
-
For that thing I made for you guys, you dont really need full 3d firehoses. A texture will do just fine. That is something someone on your team should do.
Is this ambulance part of that mod?
-
I think it would be easy to model an ambulance box. Perhaps cutting out the wheel holes and doors would be the hard part.
-
You can take the Dodge Ram from my mod and then attach the rear box thing to it.
-
Nahh...Im not really that good. I just did what I could to help out. Experience helps a lot when making any mod.
-
removed the links? now when I click on them, it says you don't have permission.
The mod update needs to be approved by a moderator first. Im still waiting for them to allow it to be publicly available.
Since I'm tired of waiting...here's an alternate link:

Nice usage of my Subaru. Will the lightbar set be downloadable?
-
Turning off the object and floor shadows will make the biggest difference. As said above, reduce the graphics and particle quality until you achieve desired perfomance.
-
-
You got a really good point there.

I remember that on some laptop GPUs, there was a way to set them so that they would go into fully dedicated mode. There was a topic about it on this site somewhere....
-
Well, the problem with the Norway mod isnt an issue you should worry about. Its authors will probably fix it.
I understand that the glitched vehicle browser is annoying, but gameplay wise, is anything else wrong; such as missing textures, weird things appearing on screen?
A few more tips on getting EM4 working is to disable DEP if using Windows 7 and to run it as an administrator . No need for any compatibility settings. -
I dont really have much experience with laptop systems and how the game treats them. For now, I think that it is something with the game not liking your GPU...
Anyway, besides the vehicle browser, is anything else wrong with it? -
Update your graphics drivers?

As Hoppah said, it would be very time consuming for me to have to update cars every time something new comes out. So I wont be considering it too much. Regarding his idea of an objects pack, that would be difficult as I dont really know what objects would be considered "American". Same goes for buildings.
Anyway, I've done an ambulance version of the E350:

The link for the Civil Cars Mod is up again at the download page.
