No it isnt. Scratch made. Only used that model as a reference on how to curve the front.

Rear dump thing by EA. 2650 polygons (due mostly to the rear thing)

You should really consider doing fire apparatus, would like to see what you come up with as your skills are off the hook

The only thing keeping me from doing this is my lack of knowledge in US fire trucks. Apart from that, time is also a factor.

They indeed are, but other major US mods utilize the scale of that CVPI. Its really a matter of preference.

Do you consider upgrading to the HQ CVPI's from the LA Upgrade Mod?

They look great. Hopefully, LAFD dont change their ambulances, otherwise I'll have to make more.

There are already Freightliners in the LA Mod. Will consider it in the future.

A picture please. The last truck I am about to do will be a Kenworth T800 - used as construction trucks and cement trucks.

What he means is that there are no details to the skin, it has no shading casted onto it, fender flaring, it looks very simple like someone swatched it with a paintbucket.  With very complex models ya can get away with a basic skin job where there isnt any detail to it, but when it comes to using a lower poly model, the model lacks the accents to the bodywork that you can see so it ends up looking rather flat with a basic skin.

 

But I do agree, critiques really only work when they are constructive and at least say why you're saying what you say, and explain how they can improve what you opine as being able to go better.  Just saying looks bad, makes you look like a troll.

Well...I'll admit some of that is my fault. I never really put any contours on the textures or shading parts in any of my models. It was done intentionally so that people using Paint.net could easilly modify the texture. The method has its drawbacks unfortunately.

Then I guess whoever wants to do it could do it. Its just a simple matter of modelling a lightbar on the front.

Isn't the express ambulance I did good enough to fill that role or is there something special about these ambulances that makes them different?

I would love to see a new Freightliner and Peterbilt to rollout from Itchboy's Production Factory.

There are two other trucks planned atm. The GMC Topkick and Kenworth truck. Probably will serve as a dump truck, a cement truck and a garbage truck.

Maybe I can get them done by next week.

Slightly longer than an average step van, again the step vans come in varying lengths too some are as small as 12 feet or so for the cargo areas.

So I guess Im good to go then. Thanks for showing the way.

So this means that the International is slightly bigger than the step van since I think I've created a 25ft rear box. Right?
