I always wished it functioned like the old mass cass unit from EM1 with a bunch of tables for patients in there.

Have you turned the graphics settings down to low? You have a cheap on board video chip that cant handle much. Stay away from the light mods packs for example.

The vehicles with spotlights like the USAR truck, do not move. You would have to move the truck if you need the lighting positioned differently. The only flood lights you can easily control are the hand held ones the engineer uses. You can rotate it by clicking the circular arrows in the control panel.

I might. I need to do some minor bug fixes still. Nothing big but just adjusting the vos slightly for better accuracy when parking.

These are screen shots of some customizations I have done to the LA Mod. Click for full size images. NOTE: This is a private submod at this stage! In the first screen shot here, you can see the Los Angeles Port Police Station I removed the original building and replaced it with this. LAPP officers will park there cars here rather then the LAPD station. Officers will appear to escort prisoners inside this building when returning here after an arrest.There is room for 3 cruisers to park here but I only plan on keeping one here. Next up we have the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. There is 3 scripted parking places here as well. Just like the LAPP Station criminals can be housed here. Although I may end up moving this out to the mountain side. Last but not least, is the grand finale for now. The LAPD Station revised. Most of this is just for show. However, I did move the 3 parking spaces from out front of the station, to the backside of the station. I felt it was unrealistic to take prisoners in the front. Instead the three parking spaces are up against the building where you see the charger, slick top and crown vic. Units will escort prisoners in the door between the slick top and cv. Were not done yet though. Now you also notice the 2 SWAT Heavy Rescue Trucks. One of these is actually a bomb squad truck. I just need to do some minor repainting to tell them apart. None the less, there also scripted to park here. Lastly, while not pictured here, the SWAT Bear and Bear Cat trucks are scripted to park in the empty spots between the off white cv, and the garage door. Thats all for now, but I do have a few more changes in store for the fire stations, as well as some other places. Enjoy!

If this has room for 4 cops rather then 2 cops and 2 criminals, the chase command is not going to work correctly till hoppah fixes it for the unmarked cv.

It would be possible to some extent. If you set up a second hospital on the map, it would be easy enough to script the BLS to go to the Hospital and have the ALS go to the trauma center, but personally I think it would be a waste of space.

No theres not a certain program you need, but I do suggest Notepad2 as it is designed with editing php and c++ in mind. It will help identify missing brackets( the { and } symbols) by marking them in red which will show you where it counter part bracket is as every { will need a }. The root of your problem is actually the UAC(User Account Control) in Vista and Windows 7. It protects anything located in the program file folder. Im on windows 7 but the process should be very similar on Vista. Go to Start menu. In the search box type msconfig. Do not touch anything in here if you have no clue what your doing. Now go to the Tools tab. Look through the list for something mentioning UAC. Click the launch button and disable UAC. Now you can edit the script directly. -
Ok I have the LAPD station in tact still, but altered(screen shots soon). I have altered a few port buildings and created an LAPP Station/Jail. Now I cant decide as weather to add an LASD station/jail or not. I have decided I will not add a CHP station as I feel 4 would be over kill. On the other hand I cant decide if 3 stations is over kill or not. If you think I should add a LASD station/jail, where do you suggest putting it? I know if I add it it will be on the right side of the map. I was thinking the parking lot south of the hospital by where the exploding wreck always happens. It fits some what well in this parking lot imo. Not this is for a private sub mod, but who knows maybe I will seek permission to release some of my changes.

Technically he could do this with the installer. Just make XML files with all the units in it, and then we can choose in the installer menu which units we want. Since the game wont find prototypes for the items not installed, it wont show them in the dispatch menu.

What about a Transport Dozer for LA Mod?

In most cases the dozer would take longer to get there then the tow truck. As for being to big, its a tow truck, its supposed to be big, and its already smaller then the mods original tow truck. Not to mention its even longer then either two truck and therefore more likley to have problems then they would. -
No there is a frequency set by editing a script, but no limits.

MT275 means he cant do anything, but he can dictate what needs to be done and such. As for NPDs models, http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.ph...ost&p=91163 Hes also made models for me and i think is models are excellent.

I tried that before and they just attacked my officers. I dont think the stop command works for riots.

The new patrol script isnt the reason for the traffic jams. One reason is the fact patrolling units do not stop at the traffic lights. Because of this, they run into an intersection and get stuck with another car. Another reason is there is the lack of traffic lights at places. The old maps has alot of major streets meeting major streets where you would see a traffic light in real life. The awesome new map we have has alot more secondary street meeting primary streets where you would normally see the secondary road yielding to traffic on the primary street. Unfortunately, civilian and patrolling units alike do not yield the right of way to the traffic on the main street. Im interested to know which mod your referring to.
