Yes it would be possible. I dont know that I will be adding it to my mod, but we will see. Sadly time has not been on my side, so I havent really gotten to make any updates but I have some ideas in mind.

I wouldnt go that far. I do feel the content some times needs to be verified through its sources as NFK said but I wouldnt say its the most unreliable.

IMO, its way to much work for such a simple task. If it was automated that they all got in the trucks, then i could understand but as is, to much work. Plus like said above, they do not have volunteer companies in LA. Are they possible, probably, is it going to happen, the electrician thing I doubt. The go around idea hasnt been announced as being planned for this mod, but it actually is possible to some extent.

Remove ALL codecs and then only install ffdshow. I run ffdshow, CoreAVC, and XVID. ffdshow does all the decoding, but I have xvid and CoreAVC for encoding and decoding. ffshow decodes xvid more efficiently then the real xvid codec, and CoreAVC decode AVC better then ffdshow. Plus its easier to have CoreAVC doing the encoding rather then setting up ffdshow to do it. ffdshow should play any video with no problems and codec packs suck because the codecs contained with in can easily conflict and cause problems. This is not a bug. You can try to use soulbodys submod if you want him to stay in the vehicle at the station.

The game doesnt handle high-rises that well as the camera just cuts through them. Yes it does.

Sorry but I dont understand. LA has both the tiller in the mod, which is a 1996 Simon-LTI, and the American La France tiller that em4fun made. The ALF tillers are starting to replace the Simon-LTI tillers I believe. They also have the Ladder Truck form the mod which is a 2007 Pierce. Not sure whats used more between the ALF tiller and the Ladder trucks.

I dont know our protocol here but I cant tell you LifeFlight is not common if ever dispatched for a stroke here. In most residential areas here theres way to much tree cover in most of the city, plus with three hospitals, and ALS units on patrol all over the city I cant see response times being to bad. Plus we have no ALS Engines here. Our Firefighters are BLS only although there are paramedics who do volunteer for the city and county. Most stations in the city only house a quint or a pumper further setting us apart from a BLS and ALS assignment in the same station. I dont think I have ever seen more then 1 Ambulance at a scene for one patient. Fixed MikeyPI is there

EVGA does seem to be making good boards here recentley but like I said earlier, i dont need alot from the mobo. Something that will maybe handle a small over clock, and has a PCI slot for my video card and thats all that I really need.

Using a HD 4890. As for MSI, it was that or Gigabyte. I liked the looks more on that one, but more importantly, it was cheaper and I dont need much in the way of PCI slots as I have no desire to crossfire or anything like that. What do you think of the RAID 0 SSD set up? I use a 1 TB WD Caviar Black as we speak

Check the benchmarks and you will see there not much different and while the 920 does out perform the 860, your also going to spend more money on the hardware. The mobos and are more expensive and of course a tripple channel kit is going to be more then a dual channel. I am just going to run the RAID 0 then use one of my current hard drives, or a small new HDD for back ups. I am only getting one apevia and its simply going to be used for looks rather then airflow. Well it will be used for air flow but not going to make a difference with my case set up. I have 4 GB in there, its just they dont make that set in green and they(crucial) confirmed I can run these sticks in dual channel just fine. I realize that but the speeds should be sufficient. Yep, I want the green as I may add a black light in my case. Like I said, this is an upgrade I have a 22 inch Dell 2208 WFP monitor and a Mozart TX case so Im just fine there. Also have a Saitek Cyborg Keyboard and Razer Copperhead mouse.

Well thats what back ups are far I know what ya mean, data loss sucks but the life span of the SSDs is 15-20 years while HDDs have a life span of around 5 years, and WD generally has very good reliability.
