  1. ^didnt notice the extra headlights. Seems odd to have projector and halogen lights unless the halogens are like take down lights. Just noticed they dont have a tear drop spot light on any of the units in the photos. As much i hate them with a passion when being pulled over, I can certainly understand the usefullness for an officers sake. Not just for traffic stops but searching in dim areas and so forth.
  2. How do the ASUS hold up? On one of the building forums I post at a few people consistently puts down ASUS saying they typically die a little after a year of use. I have an ASUS P5N-D, although not my first choice, it has lasted almost a year so far with no problems. Why not get a corsair psu? Never even heard of this BeQuiet! brand.
  3. I agree with Hoppah. I really see no reason for it. Hell in freeplay the coast guard chopper serves no use really, much less a ship of this size.
  4. CHP are patrol officers to ya know. I find it hard to believe this is the policy anywhere. If you have some insight into the CHP or Flordia State Police/Highway Patrol, then feel free to reference something to show this is the case.
  5. Download the mod, and use an app called universal extractor to extract it. You then have access to all the files in the exe.
  6. I doubt i would add multiple port police paths. Not sure what you mean. Have the ambulances park in the FS parking lot or doughnut shop? are you changing any thing at station two? such as the hazmant with a Rescue squad or a tower? I have listed the changes to FS2 in this thread.
  7. Like I said, not in the mod at current. THANK YOU! m so sick of hearing about Chinese crap in every post he makes al though I was going to ask him if the Chinese are so great, why they have to rely on an American made vehicle. Like I said, those things arent in the mod atm are they? No, like i said the way things are now, theres no need. I never said they wouldnt make a good addition.

  9. Nope. Station 1 has a HES and HRC. Parking ambulances would be simple enough, but it would be easiest to rely on the firestation script to staff them. I may add AMRs around the hospital but I kind of doubt it. This is indeed something I plan to look into. The problem lies with in the pathing. If the path over laps another path im not sure its going to stick to its path.
  10. Well i checked it, and for what its worth, all your brackets are opened and closed. What line does ti reference in the error? Have you tried notepad2? I think this will help you find the problem easily.

  12. Theres no need for them the way things are atm. Hostage situations are on the first floor, and some for fires. So technically we have no use for them but could be useful in the future if things were added.
  13. Did you even bother to load the mod and look at the mission list to see theres 30 missions(EM4/20 + LA Mod/10)?
  14. The tillers still in use at this time that are not ALF are not Pierce anyways I believe. Maybe LTI. Cant recall for sure.
  15. It really depends on the location. To my knowledge its up to individual departments to decide what they want to use weather it be SWAT,Patrol Cars, Paddywagon, or what ever the case is. If they want to out fit there patrol division with Cadillac Escapades or Roght Side Drive Mercedes imported directly from Germany, they can so long as they have it in department budget to afford such costs. Obviously most departments arent going to outfit there whole patrol fleet with SUVs. Not that they wont throw in a few SUVs for rough terrain pursuits in rural areas. Should a riot be provoked here, my guess is EPD SWAT Officers on patrol, on duty, and possible off duty, will respond to the scene and gear up there. I would further guess that if there was a need for more RIOT officers, they would be dispatched from the Indiana State Police would respond as they have a Chopper and RIOT gear.
  16. Theres a seagrave tiller in another mod here for EM3 i think, and it may be possible to put it into EM4.
  17. You realize I was referring to all the work as in putting ffs in the engines and such right? It would be alot of scripting but I wasnt even looking at it like that. Whats the difference besides asking and telling? Either way its not done like this in LA.
  18. Well I dont think its a codec issue then. I cant be asked to dig through all the replies at 3 AM but have you tried removing the game, and all its folders and mods, and then reinstall it.

  20. Use the LA Mod forum. No problems. You installed the mission patch to use LA units in the original missions(in regards to 1.8). You have to install a second copy of the mod or delete the current one and reinstall it with out applying the mission patch. The 10 missions your refering to are missions for the LA Mod and not part of the original game. Asking for help fast is just plain annoying and really isnt going to get you help any faster then simply asking for help.
  21. Are you sure about that? I could be wrong, but I think your also going to have to create the animation your self.
  22. Well gees lets think about this...if they need to be the same when creating a new light...it doesnt hurt to use some common sense...or ya know use trial and error. All of us modders have to rely on trial and error ya know.
  23. So do what I did and put a bunch of cop cars in the parking lot Fair enough. True as well, I keep forgetting that there assigned the closest patrol route
