Anyone interested in a Montana submod/upgrade package? I’ve put together an update with the following changes: Replaced MPFD tanker with a volunteer ambulance. Removed BCSO/MHP/BCAS units from spawning on map at the onset of the game. They’re still playable from off-map. MPFD Engine now deploys with 4 volunteers instead of 2 to compensate for the loss of the tanker. Volunteers can deploy at any time, regardless of night. Volunteers can “run shift” by staffing apparatus without a call present. They arrive to the station non-emergency, change into their gear and occupy the truck until a call pops off. When sent back to the station, they stay on duty until dismissed. This feature is best used on the ambulance so medical response times aren’t too slow. Entirely new fleet of MPPD vehicles. Officers no longer need a second officer to search an arrested suspect before placing in a vehicle. The MPFD firefighters can now use the oil binder/broom directly from their engine. No need to call county to every wreck. Numerous minor bug fixes for stability. Still pending: Multiple callouts can run at one time. Still testing this. Of note, I'm not sure what the intricacies of releasing something like this are. But, alas, I'm here to discuss it!

Thank you so much, I'm sure many people would love to see NYC EMS of the HHC corporation. Off topic, but I've been hearing many people say NYC EMS should be brought back and the FDNY EMS merger should be undone.

Well, from my understanding, or atleast from July 14th of '25, NYStalgia is definitely still alive and kicking I'm sure. Getting the 1993-era NYPD, FDNY, and EMS assets completely accurate takes a lot of time and effort behind the scenes, but I'm sure @CanadianFrog will tell us or let us know when the mod will be released.

1993 is the set year for the mod as of right now, I'm sure down the road at some point that might change into the '80s/'90s type of thing that LA Project Nostalgia has, but as of right now the set year is 1993.

Does this Project NYstalgia mod take place before or after 1996? Cuz 1996 is when NYC EMS merged with the FDNY.

I don't want to be rude, but I think it's fair to assume that this mod won't be coming out afterall?

I can't pm admins or even report posts over there due to multiple attempts to verify my account via email. @Stan never could run this site properly, but that place is mostly german(at a quick glance) and more poorly run than EMP was. Hopefully Stand got a brain transplant and stopped paying for a major hosting bill when free; it would work just as well if I could get a simple email to verify my account. Then again, pretty sure EMP sucked at that too.

Hey, The fix is to reinstall the mod in the correct order, first install the first version of BFEMP mod, then install the v1.1 version, then the English. I don't remember exactly anymore, so you should try different orders of installation.
