MCERT1
I'm kicking myself right now...I'm playing a concert at the bayfront, and just watched a boat chase and subsequent boarding by the coast guard...Of course it has to be the one day I didn't bring & camera...but I'll remember it tomorrow and get some pics of the defender and port authority boats. MikesPhotos
UPDATED 8-17-09: Los Angeles County Fire Dept Engine 75 - Chatsworth Lake Manor (flickr only for now)53 shots and a complete walkaround of LACoFD's Engine 75. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesphotos_u...57621720082006/Hey Mike when did the DEA pick up ,i assume, a fleet of Taruses? Are they being used heavily out there in LA? Are they using the SHO package? No idea about the package, but the FBI, DEA, and ATF all use various fleet vehicles from the ford taurus and crown vic to even these things:The only way to tell what dept they belong to are by looking for the AEV placard or sticker(AEV info blocked by dash but were there on this DEA Hummer)

Newfoundking
Hey, I bear some pictures from the St. John's Int'l Airshow 2009Pictured is the Crash truck 4, a paramedic Ambulance, the Equipment truck 10, with a full walk around, the red cross truck, the Rover's SAR truck and the SJRFD ladder truck at the station SJRFD LadderRover's Volunteer SAR command unit. On scene today, not for SAR, but for showRed Cross Command unit, with red lights.. However they were off at the time. Red light permits are given out to a lot of volunteer agencies here.. Like the Salvation Army EDS trucks have red lights, the red cross gets them, almost all the Volunteer SAR, and pretty much anyone that asks, and has a good reason. I think most Volly FF's even get them The trusty Paramedic Ambulance arriving on scene... Had to make a grand entrance, with lights and sirenAnd later they went over to a little spot, where there was about 6 police cars, a paramedic supervisor/first response SUV, and another ambulance... Sorry no pictures of that...PS... The lightbar lit up really nice, but out of close to 50 picture I took, I couldn't get a single on where the lightbar was on... I got this, and settled with it. The lights were on the whole time, just the flash pattern makes it hard to get a decent picture Now Crash 4Yes you did spot #10 there too!Walk aroundand the team... After they had to move the crash truck... twice... haha

Newfoundking
Hi, I was just on facebook, and I forgot completely about pictures from the mock disaster I participated in..Here they are:Airport Authority ChiefRNC car, with some people led in the dirt.. And an SJRFD firefighter entering the busThe SJRFD taking off jackets as the fire was extinguished and Triage was started.. The guy in the back is ARFF, he was there for 45 minutes stood with the hose and SCBA on.. He did nothing until someone told him he could return the hose and assist with triage.. The poor ARFF guys had to stay in full gear minus SCBA for 2 hours in blazing heat.. (forgive the pun)PS, that's my leg in the bottom left hand side. One of many pictures facing the units... The two white ambulances are owned by eastern health, the red one is SJRFD, and the two ARFF trucks at St. John's Int'l ARFF... Had to crop to cut out fake injuries and faces... the girl is my friendThis is the triage unit, stored at the bus station. Former city busThat's it that doesn't have fake injuries shown, or that don't have any Emergency personnel. I have many more, and if you have any question, inlcuding about my injury, feel free to ask

Guest dkmaisto
A couple of quick shots from Vejle in Denmark, take a look at my flickr page, that's where all of the picture I take end up. A nice and easy to click link to my flickr.A Danish ambulance with the new livery.A Danish Police Ford Mondeo 2.5 Turbo. To Aleksander: What I have experienced is that LEDs and rotating beacons are easier to catch than strobes. The settings that I use are 1/250 or 1/320, if I set it under 1/200, there's too much blur. I set my camera for shutter priority.
