  2. HAZMAT truck looks good. But it should have a ladder on the back. https://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesphotos_us/6726903059
  3. Crosslays are the hosebeds above the pump panel and are perpendicular to the long axis of the vehicle. EDIT: Looks like the second engine with the flat roof is a Pierce, not a Seagrave. My bad.
  4. The brush humvee is not used anymore. @itchboy, the reworked Seagrave engine should have netting over the crosslays also, not just the hose bed.
  5. That's a Ford. He's making a Dodge. https://farm7.staticflickr.com/6181/6078831936_dda9ca018d_z.jpg https://farm7.staticflickr.com/6076/6078832300_8f021c8ec0_z.jpg https://farm7.staticflickr.com/6080/6078291913_a67264312a_z.jpg https://farm7.staticflickr.com/6194/6078293497_d1cf1ed395_z.jpg https://farm7.staticflickr.com/6085/6078295389_8e91a2e0a3_z.jpg https://farm7.staticflickr.com/6188/6078295925_253e8402f2_z.jpg
  6. Absolutely, but it should be the old model of the ALS ambulance from the current LA mod with the hi-viz removed, like the one in the link below but with an 800/900 number. https://www.flickr.com/photos/mikesphotos_us/sets/72157615600895361 Eventually these will all be replaced and every ambulance will have the hi-viz.
  7. The ambulances look awesome, but just one thing is off. Any ambulances purchased from ~2007 on have hi-viz on the back. RA 827 in your screenshot should have the same rear as 102. All ambulances with the chrome grille should have hi-viz on the back.
  8. It would be awesome if someone made unit photos for the all the new vehicles.
  9. Are we sure that the white, LACoFD van is actually a USAR dog vehicle and not just a van?
  10. OK. So far I've been copying everything except the vehicles. I'm wondering if that was causing the issue with the explorer and tahoe lighbar. Additionally, the ford taurus trunk seems to open downward instead of upwards.
  11. Looks excellent! What files do I need from the LA police upgrade? I've only been copying over the object and childs models and prototypes. Should I be copying the vehicle models and prototypes also?
  12. OK, I just wanted to make sure I didn't mess anything up when I copied all the files over.
  13. OK, so I copied all the objects from the LA police upgrade. However, the lightbar for the LAPD and LASD explorer and the LAPD and LASD tahoe does not appear to have a skin. The model is there but no skin.
  14. Actually, upon further inspection, it looks like LASD hummer prototypes are included. Are these the ones for the LASD tahoe? I do not have the LA police upgrade installed. I've been manually adding the vehicles, not just dragging in the folders. Where can I find that?
  15. Actually I was a little too hasty. I've figured out how to get everything ingame. I noticed two small issues. The CHP Explorer grille lights hover in front of the vehicle and the LASD Tahoe seems to be missing prototype files.
  16. Is the "lapd2" prototype the Ford Explorer or the Chevy Tahoe? Your release on page 6 is very difficult to work due to a hodgepoge of naming conventions and folder structure.
  17. All the ambulances look excellent. Keep in mind that BLS ambulances are in the 800/900 range (RA 805, RA 863, RA 909, etc.)
  18. I've added the CHP and LASD helicopters to my mod from the AUS. However, the helicopter rotors don't show up in game. How do I add the rotors in the editor? I'm pretty sure I've copied the rotor childs correctly but I can't seem to add them.
  19. I'm guessing this doesn't work with 2.1 since there was a new command added to the fire station?
  20. Here you are http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?/topic/10013-brand-new-lafd-water-tenders/
  21. Keep in mind that this guide is several years old and many parts of it are inaccurate or completely wrong. LAFD now has some new KME engines that aren't mentioned in this guide. They also have two new water tenders making the water tender section of the guide completely incorrect.
  22. Follow this link to get info and manuals about LAFD engines and trucks going back quite a ways. If you click the "truck spec chart" and the "engine spec chart" it gives you a good comparison. http://lafdtraining.org/ists/log.htm As for the hose. I don't believe LAFD has any of their hose preconnected to the engine. They may have nozzles preconnected to the 1", 1-1/2", and 1-3/4" hose in the crosslays, but I don't believe any of it is connected to the engine.
  23. What is the vehicle behind the left engine in the last screenshot?
  24. I think most agencies will keep them in service until they decide it's time to replace them. "American made" is sort of a misnomer. The Crown Vic, Chevy Impala, and the Dodge Charger are all made in Canada.
  25. Here's an excellent read regarding the changes in the 2011 redeployment plan that went into effect in early July. It has everything you need to know about each station and battalion, even down to the reserve equipment. http://www.prnc.org/...ymet%20Plan.pdf Here is also an updated map of the LAFD showing the new battalions and two divisions. http://navigatela.lacity.org/common/mapgallery/pdf/fire_dept/lafd_sta8x11.pdf
