  1. Much appreciated, AJ Illenota has been a fantastic resource all around. His own vintage MA archives are incredible for those that are interested in that area. It's going to be so cool to see the contrast even in the Aerodynics between NY and LA style
  2. At the risk of turning this into a depository of archive photos like the LA Nostalgia mod, is there any chance I could see a few? For some reason I haven't been able to find more than a quick front view of an old Taurus.
  3. I was thinking to myself recently that NYC or Boston would both be great bases for another 80s-90s mod and your work so far has really proven that to be true. Do you have any IRL photos of the DOT vehicles? Those are incredible
  4. Great work on the sheriff units, the Whelen Centurion is an underrated option
  5. Those are beautiful, the perfect intermediate between the open top bubble gum lights and the pretty much modern looking Seagraves
  6. Great work so far, I'm really looking forward to this one
  7. Just double checked it this morning, it still appears to stay on the roof after I shut the lights. I double checked and I do have the most recent version. Not sure if I'm the only one having the issue though
  8. I think they would be cool as another option, maybe as an additional unit that spawns on patrol along with the marked car. I wonder if you've given any thought to trying to incorporate a removeable beacon on the unmarked Malibu like I've seen on some of the German and Spanish mods, though I'm not sure the complexity is worth it for the few weirdos like me who love those things
  9. Itch, have you given any thought to adding LASD plainclothes deputies to the unmarked Caprice and Malibu? I have distinct memories of seeing deputies with these green windbreakers in the 90s on the news, but I've only been able to find a few photos so far. 1 2 3
  10. It works perfectly, I played for over an hour straight without any crashing. I could only find a couple really minor issues that don't affect gameplay at all. The DC FEMS engine has no lights or siren, and it doesn't appear that it has any hose connections. The lights on two of the Pierce engines look like they're set up for the other one (see the attachment) and the MSP air ambulance's rotors don't move. This mod is really coming along fantastically, and I can't wait to see how far you can take it.
  11. Loving it so far, great work. I really like that you captured the combined career/volly aspect of things. For some reason I'm getting a CTD whenever a Wheaton EMT brings a patient into the hospital, but I'm not sure if that's just me
  12. Great work, I especially like the MCFRS Tahoe and the Wheaton rescue. Have you thought about adding some units from Bethesda like BCCRS or NIH Fire/Police?
  13. That makes sense, there are plenty of unique CHP units in the game already, that it might sense to create some sort of bonus pack. You've probably seen this group on FB, but it has some really interesting photos of the lighting equipment and upfitting of older LAPD units along with some older General Services Police cruisers https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=191320378666022&set=g.364281704315147
  14. Incredible work as always with those civil cars. It makes me realize how sadly rare it is to see old American sedans in my neck of the woods nowadays. The Nissan Sentra could also be used someday in a Mexican mod, since they until recently were still produced in Mexico and commonly used as patrol cars. Not sure if you've seen this before, but another unusual CHP cruiser from the 1980s, - an AMC Eagle. The page has some decent all-around shots as well as a description of the light package on the slicktop when in service. https://code3garage.com/california-highway-patrol-amc-eagle/
  15. The Tomar lights look much better in smaller applications like cars, the FedSig Navigators look like they actually belong on fire trucks. The Tomar sirens sound... unique, not very fire truck-like
  16. Beautiful work on both of those I'm sure you've seen this, but Sutphen released a pretty cool video showing off the Tomar lights on the MDFD towers
  17. Itch, not sure if you've seen this forum, but this thread has a few interesting photos of the "lo-pro" CHP cruisers from the 80s, including an interesting Dodge Diplomat. If nothing else, just interesting for reference http://www.specialservicemustang.net/forums/showthread.php?t=5341&page=2
  18. Fantastic work on both, I love the Ford especially. Have you thought about adding a truck to the LACoFD as well? I'm sure you're sick of doing police cruiser variants, but I just stumbled on this photo and thought it was a unique lightbar configuration enough to share (Credit Erik Olsen:
  19. I love it, it's always my favorite part of a mod when they add something unique to the area that it's based off of (like steady burns in Cali or Bay Constables on LI)
  20. Fantastic work, Long Island is a great area to base a mod off of and the reskins are looking great. Have you considered adding Bay Constables to the mod?
  21. Forgive me if it's too off-topic, but does anyone what the LAPD Broncos and Blazers and the blue and white livery were used for? Were they used as patrol vehicles or part of a special unit like SWAT or EOD?
  22. I had a feeling that might be the case, I'm very excited for whatever agency that might be (I won't ruin the surprise with any guesses). If you need any more photos from the Special Police Vehicles book let me know, I think you should have most of the photos from the LA City/County section. That book is also a worthwhile addition to your collection.
  23. Itch, any chance you could bring back the Port Police Caprice with the Vector lightbar? For some reason that was my favorite cruiser out of all of the 90s cars
