  1. Yeah I would prefer to do this option but I am unsure how to do it. However the other method is currently working (But you can not have the Hazard Light Ability on vehicles with boot lights, same as with scenelights).
  2. Yeah I am currently using Traffic Light Green as the Scene Lights (Which is why you can have Rear Reds and Scene lights separate) so I will try making a new script doing the same thing now. That second option I would have never thought of!
  3. Unfortunately I don't think I will be doing boot lights because of the way lighting works in EM4. The lights would not move with the boot and therefore you would always have these floating lights behind the vehicles. Unless I can add a third lighting option it won't be happening.
  4. Hope you enjoyed your time away! Yes TFU will have an unmarked van (In fact I have already added one). TFU will be based at the Police Station to be made for the new map but I don't think they would be getting a practice area as this is in the Police Training School. Audio at those points would be something I would like to try to implement.
  5. I don't think so, there won't be as many BTP personnel as there is Kent. It can be opened and closed like the Lockers on the Fire Appliances (Instead of just opening and closing within seconds when you get equipment from the vehicle). Yes I am currently doing the Great Boot Revamp
  6. Possibly not next release (Maybe) but not in a years time haha. --------------------- BTP...Boots!
  7. Correct (I always thought airports but now I realize that it was a CO19 Uniform I saw). I'm not sure why it's called "Transport" either as that seems like a general term. "We are the national police force for the railways. Every day, we police the journeys of more than six million passengers. Our aim is to get you home safe, secure and on time."
  8. Yes as Itchboy says 1 Second = 1 Minute in-game as by default "<TimeSpeedFactor value="1.0"/>"
  9. Very detailed guide, really explains the process on starting a mod! I love the part where Shia labeouf touched on the need for motivation
  10. The ARV's I am planning are the Volvo V70 and Mercedes Vito, I am unsure of the second IRV to do and there will be a Ford Transit POV. I don't want to do a ton of Vehicles for BTP so I don't stray too far from the Kent side of things. No BTP are like all Police Forces and have Armed Response Officers and Taser Certified Ones. You do get BTP officers who are armed stationed at Airports and sometimes Train Stations (I think) if that is what you're thinking of. There was an force/organization who had a sidearm the whole time I think but forgot who.
  11. Can you not double post please so it frees up the topic. That and you agreed not to do so when you made your account (Rule 10): http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?app=tos 1. I am not sure. 2. Yes. 3. Probably a Navara. 4. Not that I know of. 5. I am not sure, there are no specific vehicles for them in Kent (They walk or take the buses) but I think they sometimes ride in a GPV with a normal Police Officer
  12. As well as improving the two BTP vehicles so far I am also adding new, better and clearer siren audio (Plus the quick switch horn sound).
  13. Wow! I was told a story by one of the Watch Managers at my local station. For their Officer Vehicles/Response Cars the Station Managers used to get a certain amount of money to buy a car and get it fitted out with all the Emergency Lighting and siren equipment and the old station manager at my local used to buy Jags and other flashy cars and get them kitted up - Much to the amusement of the firefighters but "not a very good public image" apparently Whether it's connected or not Kent scrapped that and now just use Marked Officer vehicles haha.
  14. It's not an actual reflection but the hexagon looking texture that is part of reflective tape (Like below and in the third picture from my post) ^ The same type of material used for the markings (Battenburg, Jam Sandwich, Chevrons etc) on Police Vehicles. Interesting idea, I'll definitely consider this as I was hoping to add the General Purpose patrol car used by Kent Police which an Officer told me can use the blue lights as a warning at a scene or to pull over vehicles (As the drivers of these vehicles [Like the officer I was talking to] normally only have a basic driving ticket). So this would be good so you don't get these kind of vehicles speed off or have a normal patrol vehicle go faster then you would on the motorway. Some use Premier Hazard sirens as opposed to Whelen so, yes
  15. "Aerial roof markings are symbols, letters or numbers on the roof of selected police vehicles, fire engines, ambulances, coast guard vehicles, cash in transit vans, buses and boats to enable aircraft and/or CCTV to identify them. These markings can be used to identify a specific vehicle, vehicle type or agency. The markings, depending on the vehicle, or information required, may also be displayed on the bonnet, boot, or other areas of the vehicle visible from the air." - Wikipedia --- Kent do not use these markings on a lot of vehicles, mainly traffic and armed response. The vehicles above with white writing and black boxes are not Kent but BTP (British Transport Police).
  16. BTP Ford Focus Estate IRV ----------------- One thing I added to this vehicle (Not visible in the screenshots above but definitely in-game) is a reflective tape look to the Battenburg. Would love to hear your opinions on this so I know whether I should add it to all the other vehicles or not.
  17. You have to delete old versions and install new because I don't only add/change things but I also remove things so if those aren't removed it can interfere with other bits (As proved when somebody installed the last update wrong).
  18. I have decided to bring out updates every now and then which includes all the new stuff I add
  19. I agree, saw it a while back and I think if you aren't prepared to do a little bit of work then these early versions really wouldn't be your thing --------------------------------- Look who's joined the party! BTP Vauxhall Vivaro.
  20. In England they are called something different (Not quite sure what) but yes I will try to get them working.
