Why does a plane crash have to be reminiscent to 9/11? The end result is likley to be very different this time as many other steel structures have with stood fires far worse then the fires sustained to the Twin Towers. It could be that there was an engine failure or two causing the crash. Sure we dont even have to use a plane. It could be a gas explosion but just saying. Wow and I get warnings for the shit I have said around here? Yet I dont think I have ever told any one to STFU. I actually considered talking to you about working together for the good of our projects but that attitude just made me change my mind, and thats pretty bad coming from some one many would consider the resident asshole. Seriously? Copy the NY Mod much there? Come one be original. As for the model, you have improved alot from the crappy models I last seen you make. However you need to patch up a few holes in the model, in other words connect some vertices..otherwise like I said, much improved.

Why do people obsess over this? It is a cool concept sure, but dont you have more important things to worry about like dispatching units to the scene. Usually this involves grabbing the nearest police car or two, sending an EMS unit or two, or sending a few fire units depending on what the call is. Now even at one call at a time what about securing the scene if need be or the many other tasks at hand. Sorry I just dont understand the fascination with this since it seems to come up in like every mod. As for this mod, every time I disappear, I suspect I am going to come back and finally this thing is going to be out..and every time I was wrong. Bash me all you want but it still amazes me this thing is still in development.

It is pretty stable for the most part as best I can recall. TBH I havent played EM4 in months.. Its not that real life priorities have taken over, well to some extent, but more or less just that I have just lost the passion to mod I suppose you could say. Just the numerous commitments of others only to see them fall through has just kind of brought me to a point that I dont have the passion to commit myself to the project unless I feel 100% confident the project will can be completed. There is a separate topic in alterations discussing adding a third station. -

I could, but I wont. I hate to see the project go to waste, but I would just feel like I released a half ass project. The models are really the only thing holding this project back, as almost everything else done with the exception of bug fixes. I was not trying to call out any of the people who were helping, but rather just letting every one know the status of the project. Seriously? Please dont waste my time with ideas like this. If you have something REAL and practical, cool, post it. -
I would move it more to the right. Leave a gap between the building but try to make the thin wall past the last garage bay on the left match up with the parking lot in the rear, or else alter the texcture.

They are kind of starting to grow on me. I love Dodge Ram trucks, but the curviness of the truck matched with a square box on the back, just does not look right compared to a Ford Econoline base where the front is mostly a sloped vehicle with out alot of curvature. -

Just thought I would say I have been really busy lately with selling my old totaled out truck, and managed to get me a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and I love it! Anyways we been busy as hell getting caught up on things we have been behind on being with out a vehicle for 8 months. Things have just been rather crazy for the most part. Now aside from my personal life, I cant say anything about the mod because frankly I have no clue. 2 modelers started on models for me probably 2 months ago now. When I asked for status updates, which was not often I was told over and over they were almost done, and yet I still do not have models to complete the mod. I have no reason to suspect I will ever see the models in progress completed. Due to these circumstances the project may be officially dead. I am tired of getting my hopes up that I will have models to complete this project only to have my hopes fall through. It is very disheartening and with deep regret that I have to say that I seriously doubt this or my other projects will ever be accomplished. And for the record, I haent said any names as I am not looking to call any one out. I am simply updating the public on where the project stands, which is dead in the water atm, and likley going to drown and die so to speak. -

Heres a list of the stations if ya want them: fsdirectory.pdf This is out of date by now but it is the most up to date one available online. If you have Microsoft Office, I can send you an excel spread sheet I amde up with a bunch of information on stuff like which stations have a BC in a new suburban, which stations have the ALF Tillers, and soem other things like that. If not I have a text list to, just PM me if your interested. That would be over kill. If you do small stations, 3 maybe 4 stations with only 2 bays would be best imo, and locating the hospital in a central location...well that takes part of the challenge out of the game imo. Adds more realism to imo. Because GTA4 is a highly advanced game period, much less in comparison to EM4. EM4 was a low, maybe moderate budget game made by a company with limited resources. Rockstar, who developed GTA4 is a massive company with development facilities all around the world. They have massive funds considering the success of the previous GTA games. Midnight Club series, Max Payne, State of Emergency, Manhunt series,Red Dead series, and other less popular games that they still made money off of. GTAIV was released in 2008, 4 years or so after EM4, and technology changes majorly in a span of 4 years in todays world. I am not sure it could be done via scripting unless Sixteen Tons releases a new patch, which will not happen as they refused to make one for Wurpal(or something like that) Mod, even though Sixteen Tons did not have to write the code them selves, simply allow for the developers to utilize some of there resources I believe. 16T flew the devs of the mod out for a meeting in Germany where 16T is located. 16T nixed the idea. -

If you know what you are doing, then yes. It would require you to read the scripts and figure out where to add New virtual objects(VOs), rename some existing ones, alter the scripts possibly depending on if the stations are facing the same direction as the ones from the other map. It would take some work. Nothing really hard, just a bit tedious. -

Megaupload and mediafire are probably the 2 best hosts. And there is no question if the SG submod is compatible with 2.0. It will technically work, but the problem is you will not get the full experience.

Error starts even though I got the dds plug-in.

The DDS Plug in only works on the 32 bit version of CS5. If you have Windows 7, theres a good chance you have a 64 bit version of windows. In which case Photoshop should install the 32 bit and 64 bit version. Install the DDS plug in and open the dds file in the 32 bit version of photoshop. -

It depends on the model. Just keep in mind you can not use the EM3 prototype. You have to make a new prototype and add the models manually. I tried to carry over the EM3 LA Mod Hummer some time ago but the model was made completely out of "children." Maybe if you were to load the model files in zmod and link them all together, aside form the doors, then perhaps it would copy over right. Just remember, that atleast in case of the LA Mod, the EM3 models were crap compared to the EM4 models. Now this wasnt so much Hoppah and companies fault as I understand it. The tools they had to work with back then just werent as good, atleast I think Hoppah said something like this once.

1. It helps to read the youtube video description. The answer is there. 2. The program in that video is not ideal for making EM4 vehicles.

He actually released it at one point in time, but I think he pulled the download link for one reason or another. I think people were whining about somehting or another..who knows. I spoke with him just the other day and he did not give me the impression that he was actively working on it, but thats just an assumption.

Not sure if thats the current model or not, as I dont think I have seen that one before, but FDNY does have a large vehicle that is more or less a modified city buss on the inside to act as a mass causality unit.
