  3. I dont know if I am not understanding you or your not understanding me but what I am saying is CFD put prototypes for every single vehicle in the zip. So what I am saying is, are the prototypes he didnt edit, the same as 1.8.3 or are they using the original LA Mod lights. Oh and just to confirm this: "- LAcFD Light Rescue" I am guessing this is the HES right? Just making sure as I am manually copying over the prototypes for these specific vehicles and i dont see it in either video..

  6. Just making sure but since your doing this as Tony's Light Pack, does your 1.8.4 have the 1.8.3 prototypes for the unchanged units? None the less thats an awesome job!
  7. Dont worry about sending in all the units right away. I didnt try the engineer part, but it sounds good. Send him in first, then here is what I did as best as I recall. Send in 3 fire trucks. I personally used 3 ALS engines so i have extra medics on scene. Focus on the engines and engineer for now. Send 2 engines to the area between the trains and the building closest to the demolished one. In other words a little bit behind the engineer in this pic: http://emergency-planet.com/images/stories/w...ZNOT8FTFSiBBrtd Rapid deploy both. Send one more to the area to the left of that screen shot and rapid deploy it. Then use the engineer while the ffs work on the fires, and have him disconnect the other trains. Then focus on treating the wounded, and make sure you have a firefighter or two with a extinguisher near the dump truck by the lake so it doesnt catch fire. Or you can pack up one of the ALS engines and all its personnel up there.
  8. Rescue 7 should be up later. It's actually a double duty truck as it is both a rescue truck as well as a brush truck just as it is in real life. This truck will be similar to the HES in the LA Mod. On board this truck will be: Axe Chainsaw EMT Bag Fire Extinguisher Flare Traffic Cone Fire Extinguisher Jaws of Life And the jump pad may be included as well.
  9. On a 4 lane avenue with no middle turn lane, I had a woman pull off a side street onto the avenue. She pulls into my lane(so shes facing east in a west bound lane) and just stops waiting for traffic to clear so she can get into the lane. I laid on my horn two times as I approached her and she just sat there like she didnt think she had done anything wrong. As some of you may have read in another thread there was a fire in the apartments across the street from our apartments. Well the fire hydrant is on our side but the other apartments across the street and so they had to run a supply line right across the street. Well eventually a cop shows up and parks his cruiser at an angle taking up both lanes, but there was just enough room to get around him on one side. He has his red and blues flashing and yet some girl in a camary tries to go around him, and succeeds. I give her some credit she was smart enough to realize to stop when the cop honked his horn and flashed his flash light at her. However, she asks the cop, "can i get through here"? I will be back with more. It seems the world is filling up with more and more stupid people every single day.

  12. Hmm I am guessing you would just need to upload the e4m file, but to be safe if you upload all 3 files then that should do the trick. Maybe latter I can look at the map and see what I can do as far as lending a hand to fix some of these bugs. In wich case, soldjaboy, if i get your fixed paths and such I should be able to work on fixing up some of the other path among other issues.
  13. You dont have to over ride them but I would guess they have to be in ogg format, and edit the soundtrack.xml.
  14. The police took forever to show up the other day when there was a fire across the street. All they did was partially block the road so no one ran over the supply line for one of the engines, yet some dumb girl tried to go around the cop and was going to drive over the hose. Then another cop showed up, got out of his car, and stood there talking to the cop, who was in his cruiser blocking the road. Didnt even bother with directional lights is memorey serves me right.
  15. A little thing i noticed is on the deluxe map, longer units like the ladder and the mobile hospital get stuck against the guard rail in the bottom right portion of the map on the highway.

  19. Sometimes when you export to 3ds you need to open it in 3ds and export it again.
  20. Rename the files as explained in the thread. @Soldjaboy I see, I just loaded the editor and glanced and noticed all streets were blue/grey and paths were blue/red so i thought you were confused.
  21. You open the dds file like you would open any other file in most any other program.

  23. I didnt like Emergency when i watched it but i was to lazy to put anything else in and kept watching and kinda started to like it.
  24. Im not playing freeplay before though. Its the second time I played the mission, but did nto play freeplay or anything else before.
