  1. Hmm I think what I saw had a cushion on it, but i cant be 100% sure. Plus I dont believe they had to poke holes in the roof or anything of that nature. There is visible smoke damage now, but I dont see holes in the roof unless there on the back side. Maybe if I see it folded then I would know for sure.
  2. Typically an engine and a ladder/quint, but sometimes just a quint. Now if its an apt complex, the other night they sent 2 ladders/quints, 2 pumpers and eventually a rescue truck showed up, just as rehab truck I believe. 1 AMR Ambulance. 2 Police. Oh and Arson Investigation eventually showed up. MVA, usually one engine, AMR Ambulances as needed, and usually 3 cop cars staffed with one officer each. Active Shooter, I think PD sort of sets up a parameter depending on whats going on. If its near a school Schools are locked down. Then SWAT shows up in either a SWAT Truck(an old bank car pretty much), or they may arrive in patrol cars. SWAT then handles the shooter. The cases I am thinking of were more like potential shooters then active shooters. Explosion, pretty much every police unit on duty ranging from Evansville Police, Sheriffs, State Troopers, and even Indiana Conservation Officers believe it or not. Any avaliable LEO is there. Then fire trucks as needed, and ambulances as needed. What does your town do for high speed chase?
  3. Well thats the funny thing about the city, in some ways it seems like a big city, and other ways its a small town. Our downtown is horrible though. Tons of one way streets, and some even turn into 2 lane streets. One intersection actually has 2 one ways meet 2 two way street. Try figuring that out lol. But yes I guess the best way to put it is I am trying to find just the right balance between having enough variety while also trying to present the challenge of emergency management in a small to midsize town. At the same time this presents a challenge because, for example, our police department doesnt have a copter, but I feel like certain events rely heavily on it. Plus if a mission patch is made, it will be needed for evacuation and such on some missions.
  4. Just go to File->export. Save it as a 3ds file. If you mean you want the uv-map to export to, I have no idea. Not sure it can.
  5. Well I posted this awhile back. Never finished touching it up, probably tomorrow. ShaneGreen and all of those that worked on the Vintage AMR gave me permission to use there AMR skin. It will likley have a small touch up which will put it back to a white roof as our AMRs do not have any markings on top, but otherwise it will be the same. Ambulance wise you wont have much to choose from for transport. AMR Vintage and AMR Box Style. Sorry folks, but not every city can have 5 different types of ambulances None the less Vintage will be BLS and Box style will be ALS. In real life, AMR uses both styles for both BLS and ALS so for the games sake it was easier to split duties this way.
  6. Ahh I see what ya mean Mikey. Here is the finished ISP(Indiana State Police) CV. Added the hood stripe, and touched up the color a bit. The blue had a little to much purple in it where as the hood was a direct cut and paste from a pic so i changed the side to match the hood a bit more. I also noticed I didnt get one door all the way on above, so i fixed that. http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/2390/ispcv1.jpg And 2 pics of the real unit for comparison: http://img195.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=1322...465d9887974.jpg
  7. The whole tail end? I present Indiana State Police Crown Vic 1 - This will double as a slick top model and also a fully marked unit with an Arjent Light Bar. I just realized I have to add the text to the windshield and a sort of v shape on the hood.

    SWAT 4

I hated SWAT 4. I liked the original SWAT game where you commanded a whole SWAT team.
  9. Or right click on the exe file, click properties, and check mark the box, "Run as Administrator"
  10. The City of Evansville: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evansville,_Indiana Initially the mod MAY draw alot from the LA Mod, but will contain some new features. As time progresses, I hope to include more major addition in terms of commands. The first release will most likely use the Deluxe LA Mod Map, but all the deluxe events will be removed to allow those of you with 911:FR and EM 4 to use it. I will most likely place all new events, and perhaps a few new buildings on the map to freshen it up a bit. Please do not ask to be a beta tester. If I feel your qualified you will be contacted when the time comes. Some things will be revealed as there finished, while other will be announced when the mod is finally released. In the mod you will find: Police: Evansville Police Department Evansville Airport Safety(Police) Vanderburgh County Sheriff 's Department Indiana State Police Indiana Department of Natural Resources Fire: Fire Department 1 - 2-3 Pumpers,1 Quint, 1 Dive Rescue Unit, 1 Brush/Rescue Unit, 1-2 Battalion Chief Fire Department 2 - 1 Pumper, 1 Rescue Pumper, 1 Quint, 1 Rescue Pick Up(HES), 1 Heavy Rescue(used for Dive Rescue,Secondary Hazmat,Extrication tools), 1 Battalion Chief Fire Department 3 EVV Airport - Rescue 2 and Rescue 4. Fire Department 4 Evansville Fire Department - Primary Hazmat Department 1 and 2 will have there names revealed later. EMS: AMR Vintage - BLS Unit AMR Box Style - ALS Unit AMR Supervisor Tec: New Engineer Vehicle New Crane - Maybe Pontoon Bridge Layer - Hoppahs is about the most accurate imo, so his unit will likely be used. New Tow Truck If you can contribute any skills to the mod, please post here or PM me. Do not ask to be a beta tester!
  11. Which patch? The mission path in the first post or the bug fix patches? Assuming its the mission patch, try again, it works fine for me as of this post. The mission patch is not included in the mod.
  12. Hoopah, requesting you permision to release a few reskins. AMR 2 Box Style - Not an LA Exclusive, but is used in LA: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.ph...ic=6230&hl= The EMS supervisor(white with red stripe) was shown in Mikesphotos and is LA based, the USFS Police(white with green stripe) isnt LA Exclusive but seeing as USFS Fire truck/fire fighters are included I suppose this wouldnt be to uncommon: http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/9910/emsusfs.jpg
  13. Maybe I missed soemthing....what new forum system, everything looks the same to me.
  14. It wasnt either. Even folded up it wouldnt be as thich as what I saw and since no one required a strecher there would be no point in a stretcher, and even if there was AMR would have used theres. It was kind of D shaped.
  15. I installed this, overwrote 2 files, and copied the third as per the directions. I still get hoopahs map.
  16. No those are way to thin. Judging by the size of this thing it wasnt a stretcher. Plus no one was injured so there was never a need for a stretcher. This thing was probably about as thick as a bed mattress, if I had to guess the dimensions I would say 6 inches heights by 12 inches long, maybe 18 inches long. I cant describe it that well.
  17. Why not post your file here so we can see if you did anything wrong.
  18. I gotta agree, sketch up is quite easy to use. Still takes talent i dont have, but none the less much easier then zmodeler.
  19. http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-8&r...le&resnum=1 There not that big. As for paid being faster response, the volunteer stations are usually staffed 24/7, so there response times would have been a bit quicker then the EFD station down the road one of the pumpers came from. As for the device well it did kind of look something like a stretcher folded in 2, but since AMR was there and never got a stretcher out I dont see EFD getting a stretcher out, espically since none of there trucks are equipped for patient transport.
  20. If you think about it LAPD SUV = Light SUV and LAPD S&R Hummer = Heavy SUV. There ya go.
  21. Maybe I missed it but I dont see any pics of this set up like pearl said. Direct link to the image(just a link not in img tags).
  22. Um not sure where to begin. You do realize Hoopahs intentions are to keep things as realistic as possible(with in reason of course) and as far as I can see there is no such thing as an LAPD Ranger Rover or Porsche? As for light/height suv? I am guessing you mean a large and small SUV? Well we already have a Expedition or Explorer in the game do we really need another SUV to crowd the dispatch menu more then it already is? As for SWAT light van, got a pic of said unit? You could always make a copy of the SS/FBI SUV and modify the unit file for it to hold SWAT Equipment and SWAT members. Army Jeep - We already have a humvee, black hawk, flack and one or two other armed forces unit, do we really need another? Besides I dont think the army even uses jeeps anymore. SWAT Helicopter - We can already put SWAT in the standard PD copter, do we really need another unit just for SWAT?
  23. I didnt find any new info in your submod thread. Nor do I really get what your saying. The firefighters stand out side the building...so does that mean they exit the engines and run outside the station? I am guessing this means we manually have to load the ffs?
