  2. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be. I'm hoping to add a new mission or two, but that may come as a patch after this release, if at all. Freeplay is the focus on this version I'll have to ask the mods about that
  3. 4-5 is pushing it, that would be half the whole department. I think 2 or 3 is a decent number. You make a good point, I may consider having the chief and paramedics called directly to the map I don't think that will happen for the local department, seeing as it is so small. There will be another chief for the county department, though.
  4. That's up to the player. He'll arrive on map in a POV, but there will be marked car at the station for him.
  5. Sort of, although I wouldn't be surprised if it were fairly buggy, and if people have differently patched/modified versions. The next version is being made with multiplayer in mind. The VFD ambulance has been removed, there will be a private ambulance or two available at the clinic/ER on-map and that will be staffed from the beginning.
  6. They had mentioned previously it would be very mod-friendly. I can't imagine them taking any of the familiar editing features away.

  9. It's been said before, it'll be said again. No one is just going to make a mod for you, unless you're willing to pay them a good amount of money for their effort. It takes a lot of time and effort, and people who do them for free like myself only do it because they're passionate about their own project.

  11. There are always four officers on duty for MPPD, those are the ones you'll have to play with without calling for mutual aid, and one of those is a designated traffic officer. He's a regular officer but he drives the only car with a directional light bar. I'm hoping I'll be able to implement a flooding event, I agree it would be fun to work with I am planning on implementing this, yes You're correct, although the official "population" is right around 1,000. There are 4 on-duty officers in the town, and I think I'm adding about 6-8 vollie firefighters

  13. Yes, both will be in the next version The National Guard still uses the camo LMTVs as far as I know, especially Montana NG considering there's no use for desert camo in Montana.
  14. Here's hoping That will come in the finishing touches. There won't be much traffic, for one, since it's such a rural area. But I will make sure that it is well-mapped before release.

  16. I think it's em4.cfg and you edit it in notepad, OnFire had posted a page or two back which words to look for within that file. You could probably do Ctrl+F "1280"

  19. I was originally developing a snow map for the Montana mod, had the texture about 50% done but I couldn't get it to look good. Current version is more of an early-fall setting.
  20. I'm not sure yet, but more than likely it will just be a whole new download. A lot is changing. It's less of a patch and more of a version 2. Not that I'm aware of, but if someone can script that feature, I'd be happy to add it in. Yep, every now and then I take a break if I get a good idea for a unit, but the map is the primary focus. This new map is going to be not quite like anything the community has ever seen before, about 90% of the textures are newer and higher quality, and I would guess about 60% of the models - that includes houses, signs, props, etc. - are brand new. There are close to 100 new HQ American street signs already made and rising, and Itchboy will be releasing them for use in other mods alongside his American car pack. The goal and focus is to make the player forget that EM4 was originally a European game.
  21. There will be a lot more than just the new map in the next version. Your reskins will work for a few units, I'm guessing, but probably not very many.
  22. No it's not ready yet, the map is coming first.
  23. I know how you feel. Thankfully the new map's call volume will be a lot easier to handle.... most of the time. One of the local units will have the jaws. Not sure exactly what you mean
