  1. Try re-installing the mod and re-downloading if that doesn't work. So far you're the only one reporting a CTD. Also make sure you're not replacing files in the old Montana Mod folder, this mod needs to have its own separate folder in the directory. Will take care of that traffic issue and missing doors/lights in a patch. The PD impala etc. are not supposed to be in the mod, as was stated. If you guys see any leftover units marked as Chester County, they shouldn't be there. Will make sure to delete those. Glad everyone is enjoying it so far, minus the bugs here and there

To clear a few things up after reading through (most of) the last four pages: - Yes, it is a completely new map, and yes, there are never-before-seen models (in EM4, at least) in it. - I honestly can't remember who made the volunteer script we're using, I know BMA made one from scratch and we tested it out, but I'm not sure which one is in use right now. One thing I know for sure is that both Itchboy and BMA have been invaluable to the mod and I'm going to continue working with both of them. I'm testing out the updates Itchboy sent to me, and as soon as I can verify things are working acceptably I'll start the upload.
  4. Update Something has corrupted my copy of the mod and its crashing upon loading the free play map. However Itchboys copy is still working. I've given him permission to upload his version of the mod and post a link, as soon as he can. I'm not sure how long that will be. I myself am heading to sleep, as its 4am here. I'll be back up and working in about 8 hours and we'll go from there. I'm hoping Itchboy will get a link for you before then but I can't guarantee anything. I'm still hoping to stick with my original promise and have it out before Christmas Sorry for those who've been waiting so long, I understand your frustration. Rest assured we will get the mod up very soon.

  7. So here's where we stand. Itchboy's copy is working OK, while mine isn't. I sent him updated files and he's going to get everything together and working properly. He may be the one posting the link if I'm asleep by then, but either way, we're looking at 2-3 more hours at least. We could release now but the paramedic system is still broken and I don't think anyone wants to play freeplay without being able to treat anyone / send them to the hospital
  8. Getting ready to release soon. Might be a little later than anticipated. We have a big bug in the ambulance / paramedic system and it would drastically negate game play if released as-is, so we want to get that fixed first. Should only be a few more hours.

For the most part: - A few units that are missing, mostly units that aren't crucial to gameplay - Some traffic issues, although we think this has been at least partially resolved - Possible bugs in scripts - Unpolished UI and sound FX - Lack of many new freeplay events - Some incomplete units, might be missing lights, etc All of those things will be addressed in 2.1 patch
  13. The Dec. 23rd version will not be multiplayer compatible, but the patched version will be. Basically, V2.0, tomorrow's version, is going to be a beta with some issues. V2.1 is going to be the best experience. Should be stable enough to get some good gameplay though
  14. Yes, and you're welcome. I'm pretty sure they stop at red lights, but not at stop signs. It's taken about a year overall, at least. And most of it is original, but yes, I bought several building and prop models from turbosquid. Shouldn't be a problem, the new coronas are included. Civil pack is included too. Same size. Max size for an EM4 map.
  15. Like I said before, couldn't have done it without you at all. We make a good team. Everyone, there's a poll up, which I'd appreciate your vote in. Itchboy and I are working our asses off, but the truth is a release on the 23rd won't be complete. It'll be more like an almost-finished beta version. So go look at the poll options. If enough people want it, I'll still release on the 23rd, and release a patch a week or two afterwards, which will complete the mod and iron out the bugs. If the other option wins, it'll be released later, but as a complete and tested version. Your vote counts! I want to apologize for dancing around with this release date. Fact is, each date I gave, I thought I'd be able to make. But life rears its ugly head again and again. So now the date is up to you all

  17. Yeah, I removed 1.2 because of how buggy it was and with people complaining I figured it was best just to remove it for the time being. But don't worry, 2.0 is out in 5 days.

  21. I won't know for sure until closer to release, but I doubt it will be more than a GB. Probably closer to 800mb like Handsup said. Only one fire station. Two engines, supervisor, and a brush. Its my best kept secret right now, even though its 90% done... I will say this. It will make you forget EM4 was ever European. No textures have been recycled. It's got a little bit of everything... most of it is the town, there's farmland on the outskirts, train lines, creeks, a forest, and plenty of other fun details. I'll probably release a large picture of part of it a few days before release. Photoshop CC.

  23. Yeah call volume will be slowed down and there will be a hydrant to refill at the station with. That's what I had in mind. Really no point in having the cam almost horizontal.
  24. Never really experienced this issue myself, but we'll put the mod through hours of gameplay testing before it's released so I doubt this will be an issue. 1: Yes. However it may be altered from the original hack in order to safeguard framerates. 2: Yes.
