  1. Stop with the concerns. We will release the pack once we finish ALL of the units we need to do first. It will be out this summer.
  2. Thank you, it took me around 10 hours to perfect it. To an average person would take a couple of hours but because I wanted to put in so much detail it took me almost the whole day yesterday, and it has 200 coronas total. Attention to detail goes a long way. We want to focus on the big rigs first and then we will shift our focus to smaller vehicles.
  3. LAFD KME Engine 67 ( reassigned as E88 after screenshots was taken ) has now been completed with Whelen light package by C.F.D. Screenshots and a video demonstrating how it will look, along with attention to details to match the real life counterpart. Brand new coronas, color matched environmental lighting ( C.F.D used the ink tool to obtain the color values to match the real life Whelen LED coloring, halogen coloring, scene lights and HID color RGBs to make it as real as possible in the game ) So you are looking at all custom designed fire truck suited for everyone's needs. Quality unlike others, this will be yours soon. http://imgur.com/a/VOaR8 Credits : Goog, Itchboy, Hoppah, C.F.D
  4. Yeah, personally lighting the code 3 mx7000 is a pain in the butt and I never enjoyed doing it, lol. We gave it a Whelen freedom ultra with red lenses, a copycat of the LAFD's new USAR.
  5. As you know, we are adding new LAFD apparatuses for the next update. A few days ago we unveiled the brand new LAFD KME engine model. When we originally started on this project we only expected to do a small portion of an update but in the last few weeks we had the drive to expand and modernize the fleet to replace the aging units set by Hoppah. This week, I am excited to announce that we are adding several brand new LAFD special purposed apparatuses to the pool, starting with Hazmat, and then the new USAR and lastly a brand new pierce tiller. Pics will be added once they are complete. I can only share you one screenshot of the new Hazmat, it is still under heavy construction : https://m.imgur.com/fDuiReC In addition to this, we are pleased to announce that Goog and I (CFD) have partnered up with the development team of the Los Angeles Mod 2017, led by Stevenew95 and Engine81. By joining forces, we can expand horizon and provide new contents to the EM4 LA community unseen before. This is an exciting period of time for the community and we are hoping to generate new waves to the community to support Emergency 4 and Los Angeles Mod by Hoppah. Are you excited? So, what would you like to see added in the next patch? Lastly, we want to thank you for your support and encouragement. Please spread the word about our project, share this Facebook page to your friends who play EM4 for any future updates. www.facebook.com/theredwatch
  6. For the L.A Upgraded units sub-mod 3.0 patch, we would like to have a open window for you to peek through and see how things are going in the factory. Today, we are asking for your choices of 2 colors of Ford Police Interceptor Sedan factory colors that you'd like to have in-game. The vote will continue for the next 24 hours, and the winners will be revealed over the weekend. All you have to do is "Like" or comment on the photo to show your vote. What do you think ? Photo 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 ?
  7. If you're talking about the 2nd FPIU silver unit, with the flashing 'green' LED lights in the top windshield, its actually white flashing behind a green/dark tinting film and together it gives off this faint 'greenish' hue. No greens being used for emergency response driving in LA.
  8. Are you saying you saw an LAPD unit using green lights ? I don't recall, although using green is used for incident commander on scene, so its possible only their mobile command would have 1 mounted on top of the vehicle's roof.
  9. 2 Weeks ago, we announced our plan to commit an update for L.A Upgrade Units Sub-modification to 3.0, with changes including new and improved lights, coronas, patterns, and models changes. Today, I am pleased to reveal one of the new additions to the pack, an improved and never released before modified 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Eplorer/Utility, using Itchboy's base. Goog gave it a new face-lift. It will be available in different variations, such as LAPD unmarked K-9 FPIU, LAPD Marked Patrol FPIU w/ Arjent, California Highway Patrol FPIU w/ Whelen Liberty, and lastly LAPD SWAT unmarked FPIU. New hood, new tires/textures, smoother front-end headlight/bumper, improved rear and front-end features. The changes made to improve the overall physical body goes to show the commitment we have for quality assurance, and we feel confident that you won't be disappointed. To that end, we are also pleased to announce that the update will contain brand new LAFD fire engine models to the pack, including the KME predator, and the older pierce/seagrave chassis, with permission granted by Itchboy. He is allowing us to use his pre-made cabs with goog's custom rear-end body, together it will match the quality seen in the RCMP Mod fire engines. This takes us in a new exciting direction for many moons ahead and it means more fun toys for you ! More updates, and details on this will be made available once we finish our law enforcement vehicles first, and then we will shift our focus on the FIRE/EMS echelons. That's it for now, spread the word about this mod, and thank you for your support ! ( Please keep in mind that the pictures does not show the final form/result, and should be treated as a teaser to what will be included for the next update.) 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Utility base model -originally created by Itchboy, with post-modifications done by Goog. Setina Push Bumper by Bama, with Whelen ION LED configurations by Goog. Spotlight also made by Bama Federal Signal Arjent by Nnicos
  10. When 16T announced that they were making EM5, everyone got all excited, hoping that it would be the new 'em4.' We all assumed, and hoped that 16T had listened to our voices, concerns and ideas to help develop the next game the way it should have been done. Unfortunately, they didn't and instead of working with their own fan base communities ( they overlooked the western communities, to be frank) they decided to be a bunch of cash-grabbers. When the game came out, we all soon realized that it wasn't going to be a smooth transition for those whom stayed around and created mods for Em4. This was the last nail in the coffin, and for me personally, I cannot support a game company if their interests are profit and not communities that launched Em3, Em4 to the highest point on the market. Having that being said, until they decide to come out and work with us, and develop the tools that we all desperately need to create mods and not having to go through a huge learning curve, I don't see how this community or how many of the other Em4/Em5 communities will survive for the next decade. So, I'm only sticking around to finish what I have to finish, and I don't see myself hanging around for much longer after that. And it sucks to say this, I've been with this community for 10 years. It just doesn't feel original anymore, it feels ... flat. It's gonna take a miracle to breathe a new layer of life into this community, and if it's already happening, it's probably dropping 1 single sand grain at a time in a hour glass. I wonder how Sixteen Tons Entertainment is doing right now ... http://www.sixteen-tons.de/en/JOBS
  11. Good day, community. Five years ago, we released the LA upgrade unit submod to enhance your gameplay expierence with realistic models based on law enforcement agencies located in and surrounding Los Angeles. We also introduced a ambulance for the LAFD. All of the units was outfitted with light patterns seen on the real units. Today, I am pleased to announce that we are updating this submod with exciting changes : - Revamped lights and patterns, matching the same qualities seen in the RCMP modification. This means that the update will have brand new coronas, light maps, and patterns, tremendously improving the overall uniformity of the models. The custom coronas was used for the RCMP mod but we felt that it's important for the community if we share them through this sub-modification. - Natural light maps. I have created many new light maps to achieve a natural look when emitting from light sources, as the vanilla light maps are outdated and doesn't seem to achieve the natural look. - Custom siren tones. This update will also have brand new siren tones heard in Los Angeles. They will be high quality, have reverb/echo effects and loop properly. We feel that this update will vastly improve your gameplay expierence and allow the community to grow stronger with the new additions. Here is a photo albums that shows the difference between the older and new LAPD CVPI light update. Pay attention to the light maps and coronas, compare them to both models. Videos of the new lights will be posted tonight or tomorrow. https://m.imgur.com/a/QjWLg We are hoping, with confidence, that the update will be out this summer, in a matter of weeks. So spread the word and tell your emergency 4/911 first responder buddies about this and anticipate a really cool update. Thanks for your time and go code 3! Edit :
  12. Here you can watch how I edit my lights in the editor, all of the coronas seen in the video, as well as ground radiation are custom made textures made by me :
  13. We are still alive, but to be honest progress is at dead slow pace. We haven't been able to get things done in a while and right now we are looking at options. If we can't get a working map, then this mod can't really survive without one. The units we have are too big for LA mod, and it would be too much work to rescale everything to make it to work. But right now Goog and myself are committed to finish all of the units and models but after this stage we aren't sure what direction this mod will go.
  14. Hello, everyone. Tonight, We are proud to present you the images of the brand new, re-vamped Smeal/Spartan Chassis Apparatuses for Surrey Fire Service. They all have been re-worked from scratch, meeting the accuracy of real life counter-parts, from the little to big details. You will see that the chrome has been updated all around the body, most noticeably on the front grille, headlights, and mirrors. Another important feature that we want to highlight is the new Whelen Freedom Edge that has glass material over the body, so we are no longer using a bar with texture slapped over it. This enables the models to reach a new level of realism. Another new feature that we have included is the new Surrey Fire Service 2016 Pumpers, Rescue 10, and 2. They are based on the real life Pumpers that was recently delivered last year ( http://www.smeal.com/Delivery/Pumpers/Custom-Midship-Series/Surrey-Fire-Service/11339 ) Lastly, the Heavy Rescue and Hazmat has been re-worked with a different light package that we hope will satisfy the need of variety offered in the modification. The album is missing the new Battalion Chief Tahoe and Tower 1, they are still under construction, so we will present the images when they are ready. What do you think ?
  15. The light video will need to wait for a few more days. Goog is working on the engines right now, it is vastly improved with better chrome coloring, HQ textures of the parts around the apparatus, along with a 3d Whelen Freedom Ultra model, new HID lights, and many more. This kind of changes will also be in effect for the rest of the firefighting fleet such as the specialized apparatuses like Heavy Rescue, Hazmat, etc. This enables everyone of us to enjoy the beauty of the engineering and design the Smeal/Spartan chassis offers up close in the game when parked stationary. We want to make sure it looks good in your gameplay videos Details counts ! No more distorted low quality textures. For now, we'll show you the differences in the new freedom models : Also, we might introduce a new form of apparatus in the mod, but it is not official yet, we're considering the new Surrey Fire Service Tanker.
  16. Trust us, even us staff members do not like the fact that it is taking too long for us to complete the mod. But we have good reasons to justify why it's taken years. I will make a video update this weekend.
  17. No matter what, you still came back. IF anyone is interested I can post another video of how the lights look right now ? ... but nothing else ...
  18. Nice work ! Imagine if I had my hands on this !
  19. Lol, I've been doing this since i started the RCMP mod lights. Nothing new. The LED era for me started in 2012 xD Although i prefer mixing corona/poly to achieve the greatest visual effect permitted by the game engine, but really it all falls down to how talented you are at making lights and how you can manipulate the image of the LED effect. It's nice to see people like you improving your skills !
  20. So is the pack that contains civilian vehicles no longer available for public download ?
  21. I guess I'm that guy who adds 300 lights on a fire tuck
