Agreed, doubt the X5's will look any better when in the battenburg. SCO19 are switching to the battenburg as well, heres an example. Note it is on 12 reg as this vehicle used to be part of the Olympics OCU (torch relay team).

And a 13 reg example, newer ones will only have single battenburg rather than double

We had a 4 alarm commercial fire yesterday, and due to the high heat had lots of additional manpower and equipment. Here's a sample of the what units we had on scene. We had departments from 2 states, and 5 counties with well over 100 firefighters were on scene for close to 5 hours.

Dorchester County, MD: ( Not included: Rescue Fire Company, Hurlock, East New Market, Dorchester Co. EMS)

Was going to feature another another rig or two from the parade. But while driving home from work yesterday Adam's Area Fire District Tower 42 was going in the opposite area.

Tower 42 is a  2009 Seagrave Aerialscope with a 75 foot reach.

@Handsup those "slidey downy cage things" :P are used in disorders etc to protect the driver but i guess you already knew that lol

Yea. You see them on the TSG vans too. Slidey down cage door things FTW!

The PCSOs were visiting local shops asking around for a guy who was stealing handbags, lol.

Oh no, the lowest level police are dealing with low level crime with a spare resource, what an outrage! :P:D

Kinda like in the title though; "Community Support Officer" i.e. support the community in events, ASB. Not "Low Level Crime Officer" ;)

(Why PCOS's would be sent to investigate crime is beyond me, what if the guy ran, or attacked the officers, or had a weapon... Nothing they could do)

There was no immediate danger, i think it was a Code-1 type call and they were just going to have a look and knock on doors, etc.

Like you said, if they were 'Low level crime officers' they would have more than citizen's arrest powers, and carry a weapon such as a telescopic baton probably. By the way, the van was not loaded with riot shields, i believe it just served as a carrier but happened to carry a cage thingy for safety.
