  1. Lol, those CCTV cameras are a nice realistic touch. Good work, looking forward to the release.
  2. I'm gonna need a new computer first
  3. +1 on the CSU could possibly use it to dispatch more fire engines to an emergency...some of my photos of them here You could also do something similar with the LAS as they have "Ambulance Control Units" as well Hope that helps
  4. Thanks and indeed, didn't get the 2 HMP trucks unfortunatley as I was concentrating on getting the copcars.
  5. Looks very good, great work! Feel free to use photos from my NGP 2013 account if you want to download some then let me know, if you need any help with roles of vehicles etc then also give me a shout. (Been living in London all my life so I do know a lot about the emergency services there).
  6. The redtronic ones the LFB use aren't bad but the strobe ones used by the Met are pretty crap the first thing you notice on our unmarked cars is the headlight flash in the distance!
  7. You'd have a chance at pretty much any big junction though London is ALWAYS busy with stuff, best spots in London are Trafalgar Square, Lambeth Roundabout and Euston Road. Got loads of photos recently from several different incidents; LFB High Volume Pump at the burst water main in Herne Hill LFB Fire Rescue Unit also at Herne Hill, another FRU and 8 other Pumps were also in attendence Islington and Lewisham's Command Units on the scene BMW 330D belonging to a senior fire officer (american equivalent would be a fire chief) Probably 10 different cars like this were on the scene If anyone was wondering that this was a very OTT response for a burst water main the water was 1 metre high and they even had to dispatch a rescue boat One of the Met's BMW 325D's now being used as a spare area cars covering for one of Westminsters Skoda's An unmarked Seat Exeo Sport also from the Met - 2.0TSI engine with 197HP BMW 530D traffic car on a traffic stop! Quite like how this came out almost like a PR shot Brand new Dog Unit donning the battenburg, definately suits these And another one, conveniently near my house at an incident arresting some yobbo's with knives Spare area car also on scene - no idea what this was covering for as both of my normal ANPR cars were there along with 2 station vans and several IRV's Last but not least one of two DPG X5's on a hard stop in Embankment, this one cut up the car from the front and the one behind it boxed it in, something serious must have come up on the ANPR but it was impressive to see! Hope you like them, lots more on my flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/neil-gordhan-photography/
  8. It is most likely as it had a 3 man crew inside, tinted rear windows and there the only department apart from traffic (can't be traffic as they're plain clothed) that would need a car as powerful as that, as people with guns don't hang around for long.
  9. Nice appliance that is bar the logo. Few vehicles caught yesterday; Unmarked Skoda Superb from SCO19's Tactical Support Team, had a good light setup, mirror light, concealed LED's in the headlights (which you can just see) and also had grille lights which my camera failed to pick up This one has a 3.6L V6 engine with 260HP! Volvo V70 D5 Roads Policing Unit Traffic Car, heading off to close Oxford Circus during a protest march Mercedes Sprinter personnel carrier from the Territorial Support Group (riot police) Brand new Land Rover Freelander from St John Ambulance, used as a rapid response unit
  10. Cheers heres a few more; Unmarked Ford Mondeo Estate from the Crime Squad Unmarked Volkeswagen Caddy, unknown role Unmarked BMW 330D, both of these must be specialist vehicles as they were on "ghost" numberplates City of London Police BMW 530D Armed Response Vehicle, used to be a demonstrator And finally...
  11. Thanks guys, few more pictures DPG Armed Response Vehicle on a shout LAS Motorcycle responder at speed Brand new station van parked on blues Unmarked Hyundai i30 Q car
  12. Got very lucky and got to video a Met police / West midlands police convoy through Trafalgar Square. Believe it was a prisoner run transferring terror suspect Pavlo Lapshyn to court. Definately a VERY RARE sight in London! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qMHD7NSsxY
  13. Agreed, doubt the X5's will look any better when in the battenburg. SCO19 are switching to the battenburg as well, heres an example. Note it is on 12 reg as this vehicle used to be part of the Olympics OCU (torch relay team). And a 13 reg example, newer ones will only have single battenburg rather than double
  14. Thanks and yes they are switching to battenburg, the new Vivaros have arrived and are all battenburged up, heres a picture
  15. Here are a few from Trooping of the Colour last week DPG Armed Response Vehicle on blues Hyundai i30 IRV going through Trafalgar Square, stood down shortly after Ford Tourneo carrier on a shout Metropolitan Police Land Rover Discovery part of the Royalty Protection / Medical Team Ford Transit minibus most likely also from Royalty Protection More at: http://www.flickr.co...an-photography/
