There is no official version of the LA mod newer than 2.1 There is a semifictional fan-made beta known as 3.1.1, but was taken down due to the mod author not getting permisions for some content and not crediting for others.

That one is correct. Needs a bit of work to get the ELS right, but the ambo is correct. The fire engine is a thing you will prob have to source from Montana, since the one there has the raised roof that your real vehicle has.

If the fire enigne model cant be sourced, an alternative would be the one from the older Montana mod, such as bama's fire engine model. The F350 is unfortunately only present in my civilian vehicle set. A good lead to find it would be to DL one of the American mods out there, they probably have the F350 as a civilian vehicle. The hard part is attaching the ambulance box on it.

Are these on an American Airbase in Britain? Top pic, 2008-2011 Ford F350. Fire engine = KME Predator. Coincidence is, both of these vehicles I've released already in the past. Its only a matter of finding them somewhere in the mod community. The remainder of the background vehicles seem to be easy as well. A Freightliner fire engine seems to be in the mix along with the black SUV in the background being a Ford Excursion. These probably arent your mainline fleet, but rather co-starring vehicles to your main cast and crew, so I wouldnt be too particular on them unless they act as main designated units for the mod.

No worries man, never doubted your honesty. We appreicate the coming forward as long as its kept to a moderate and reasonable amount. You can talk about the mod, discuss gameplay experiences, but try to keep the 'add this vehcle/feature/whatever' to a minimum. Also try not to keep reporting the same bugs that we've already known about the mod. Its been a year now and we probably know what bugs the mod out.

Mr Matt has the most likely answer, that you may have been editing the base files instead of the Mod folder ones. Another option that we both discussed is modfile corruption.

What exactly are they describing? The FP map is wrong? No vehicles show up? Or all modified content does not appear? Some clarification would be needed. It might just be a simple mistake on your part when sending the mod to a 3rd party. Checking in the editor to verify would also be a good step for them to take. Try asking them to take a look around. If you have the units correctly placed, be sure to check the specs and lang folder as well for the relevant files there, in context to vehicles. The xmls in the specs files link the prototypes you made to the unit.xml files you made, plus also enables the new units to be playable in FP. The Lang folder contains the text displayed in the UI for your new units. If either the unts, lang or specs folder files are wrong or have mistakes, the unit(s) will not show up ingame, or they will appear incorrectly and potentially cause a CTD.

Just a reminder. A private mod is only private if only one person (in this case, you) has a copy of the mod. Once you start giving it out to YouTubers, friends, MP clans, etc, it is no longer private, but public. Any freedoms and privelages enjoyed by a private mod will no longer apply to a public or select release project.

Not really. We will take the link down, speak with the subject and request that he/she desist from posting stuff agains the wishes of bama1234. If the user continues to violate, only then will sanctions be applied. There is due process in this and we dont just straight up do that to people. 'Saying' things about links isnt a bannable offense, unless the user is constantly doing it, and pestering bama1234 and other users for it. Sending the same link request PM to 20 people for example will get you in trouble. We dont ban people for free speech if it is within the reasonable spectrum of obeying the site rules, so no talk about torrenting software, illegal stuff, etc obviously. Abusive behavior towards other members, and abuse of site privelages as well are grounds for sanctions.

While this method also works, it is quite messy becuase it involves adding more commands, and means a lot of editor work for the end user. Another drawback is that the mod will take much longer to load if you add numerous dummy commands. Each solution has its plus and minuses, but its up to OP to decide.

Unfortunately, you cannot add a floodlight to the game as the default equipment is. You will have to resort to using Hoppah 's code and methods where it just spawns, -

Setting up an alternate site doesnt violate the TOS. Tip: Imgur is the best for setting up large picdumps. Easy registration and linking to photos. -
Thing is, there is no line 352, which means this is a bracket bug on my part. Does it crash when using the command or only highlighting over the vehicle? Might be line 163 actually if (StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), CAR_31) == 0 || StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), CAR_32) == 0 || The || at the end of car 32 is missing. if (StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), CAR_17) == 0 || StrCompare(v.GetPrototypeFileName(), CAR_20) == 0 || Same issue with line 144. Car 20 is missing the || I'm not particularly good at scripting, but I at least tried to tidy up your code.
