  1. TEC accessories and ELS has been done. A second tow truck will come hopefully next year.

  3. Here are some of the most recent model updates. The skinwork on the old Suburban is by Ibarra. The Crown Firecoach is 100% my work except for the optional foam barrels which are reskinned Em4 models. There will be a lot more units added after the planned initial release.
  4. Another one coming. There are plans on having 2 rollback trucks. The other one will be the 6500 GMC from Montana mod. Model is by me; textures by Ibarra; rollback rear end by Phantom.

  7. Big updates. Ibarra helped texture some of the units up which enabled me to start lighting these and making them functional ingame. Many vehicles still lack some ELS models and equipment such as the foam carrier and tiller. More vehicles incoming to this set. Thankfully there's only a few left before I feel like this can be released in beta. I am looking for somebody to do the emergency lighting on these vehicles. I would like to have one guy on FD/EMS, one on PD and another one on TEC just to have as many community members helping out with this. Which one are you most excited for?

  11. 2 more vehicles added to the non playable roster. You might find one of them familiar.... A replacement for the vanilla LA rollback truck has also been created. Models by me, textures by Ibarra.
  12. For a long time, I said "no" to a 90s civil car pack for this project. However, I was able to find another person to do textures for me. This has allowed me to crank out a lot of content in a short period of time. Check them out. Some assets are still unfinished but I can say that most of what you see will be making it into the mod or be released separately at some time. All models by me. Skins by me, Yankee43 and Ibarra.
  13. The base model is done. This is GMC Vandura and I plan on setting it up for LASD as a transport van. I also have a Chevy version that I could turn into an older LAFD ambulance but it will probably not appear in the preliminary release of this submod.
  14. There might be a solution in the U folder. There's an xml file that stores the positions of windows and you could reset it. I can no longer remember which file it is, I will try to test something for you when I can.

  16. Thank you for the links. I have found this from LA County lifeguard. I think I'm going with this or an LA City/County utility truck with similar setup.
  17. Here is an in-editor group photo of all units done so far. The swift water rescue is the only unit missing because I haven't found a real 90s picture of one. Maybe somebody can find it. Most models lack lights, some parts and their liveries. I will be contacting a few of you to help me out with this if you guys are available.
  18. The white box is caused by your Intel HD GPU. Em4 doesn't know how to render/draw/display the preview boxes correctly. I have a few theories as to why but for now it is something that can't be fixed. The stretched textures all over the map is a problem with the mod. That is what happens when the game runs out of graphics or CPU memory to "store" textures and the textures "overflow" into places they're not supposed to be. This issue isn't just with laptop GPUs but also with low end PC graphics cards especially on mods that are poorly optimized, use too many high poly models or too many high resolution textures. It can also happen if the model has many unique textures and the game has to load them all up. Intel HD laptop graphics cards are especially vulnerable to this problem due to them not having the power to display all the modded content. This is why modders need to optimize their mods to be as efficient as possible because there are many players who don't have high performance computers.
  19. Please don't tag me like this. I'm not a servant. As for your issue, it is most likely a mobile GPU problem but I don't know that because you didn't upload a logfile or a list of your PC or laptop specs. I need that information to narrow down what the cause of your problem is.
  20. The tiller has been modelled. Textures come next. I don't look forward to setting it up in editor but hey, its here. This was the hardest vehicle to do in the whole set IMO. Next one up is the heavy rescue crane's animations which I also don't like but at least I'm not having to make everything from nothing. The cab is the same edited LA mod base (by Hoppah) as the Seagraves shown before. All I did with the cab was add the rear tiller bits that are quite different and had to be made from nothing. Later on after doing that, I did the remaining work on the heavy rescue crane. Here she is. Credits to VoodoOperator, NFK and Hoppah for the cab. The work that I contributed to this was editing the rear model eedit, textures and modelling new support legs.

  22. I still do work from time to time. It was supposed to be bama doing the share of the work but corona said no. I don't know when it will be done because I have a whole lot of other stuff I want to release this year. My main priorities are now with an Em3 to Em4 conversion mod, and 90s LA mod of course. I am also involved in developing a few (as in multiple) mods that haven't been announced but I do not know how many of them will be completed. The world situation prevents many from modding.
  23. No. The engine to engine connections make up for the difference.
  24. Does the map also throw a CTD ingame? This is a weird one. It seems to be something specific to the editor which I cannot find in the logfile.
  25. I said I wouldnt do a Blazer but my completionism got the best of me. I have a whole bunch of stuff that could be used as emergency vehicles or non playable civilian cars.
