Well not just that but lets keep in mind there were far far less drivers on the road at that time to. None the less, I have to agree. I was in an MVA 6 months ago where a woman ran a red light. No it didnt just change red, it was solid red and had been...my guess is she was trying to hot shot the light and catch it as soon as it turned green. Guess what...she was driving on a suspended license! Even better...my buddy lives in an apt complex across the street and can see the parking lot of my building from there. He calls and says theres 2 cop cars outside. I open the blinds and the cop shines his spotlight up in my eyes. So there just sitting there, and I go out on the balcony to have a smoke and see whats going on. Well all the sudden I hear CHIRP! And see one of those sporty Mazda station wagons backing out of a parking spot at the very end of the parking lot across the median. CHIIIRP. They floor it peeling out again, keep in mind there about 30 yards from 2 cop cars. They floor it through the parking lot and hang a left, now they have to drive through about a 100 yards or more of parking lot to get to the main entrance which sits on a very busy road in a 45 mph zone. CHIIIIRP. VROOOOOOM. Cop floors it and chases them down while the other unit turns around. VROOOOOOM. The second cop mashes the gas to join the chase. The Mazda didnt make it out of the parking lot lol. And better yet, my girlfriend and I walk out of the bank across the street to hear a Federal Q screaming away. So we never see them come past so this tells me its Quint 9, and that tells me they likley turned in to my apt complex. We walk the long way back to our apt to see whats going on, but we assumed it was just a medical run. Get around the corner to where we can see 9s, but it wasnt just 9s a cop was on scene. 9s was parked by a dumpster and considering there has been 3 dumpster fires in about 2 years living hear, I assume it is yet another dumpster fire. Well as we walk more, we see there is now a jeep Cherokee sitting in the grass court yard and it has hit a fence. Not just a property fence, no it is the fence bordering the pool. It turns out that the guy had turned in the main entrance, and as soon as you do, you have to make a left turn or right turn. He pulls in, stops to let 2 maintenance workers in a golf cart(the staff use golf carts because its a big property) go by, and waves at them to go. So they do, but not before he hits the gas and drive straight crossing about 50 yards of grass and hopping a curb before coming to a rest after hitting the poll fence. Last but not least, there was sadly a fatal accident here last night. A semi was turning on to US Highway 41 near the State Police Post. The intersection is only a 2 way stop for traffic crossing the highway. A Cadillac failed to see the Semi and managed to run in to the trailer and become lodged under neath. By standers tried to rescue the victim but were unable to do so, I assume, due to the Caddy catching on fire. So yeah it seems any idiot can get a license today. Sorry for the long rant.

Whats your price range? Depending on your budget, a quick run down: Intel Core i7 930 MSI or Gigabyte Mobo(socket 1366) 6 GB DDR3 RAM - I would go with Corsair XMS series Video Card - depends on what games you play. I would go with an ATI/AMD 5700 series card or 6800 series with out question, but I cant tell you what would be a good card based on "gaming" alone. PSU - Depends on the video card mainly. Go with a Corsair brand PSU. Id say soemthing in the 600-700 range to be safe, but you might be able to get buy with a 500+ Watt Corsair depending on the video card. Corsair makes the best PSUs on the market, hands down, and this is one area you do not want to cheap out on. A cheap psu runs the risk of frying your parts, wasting all the money you spent on parts, or worse yet, can cause a fire, and obviously you could loose more then just your PC in that case.. Monitor wise, last I checked, Dell and Acer were about top of the line. I have a Dell2208 and it absolutely kicks ass! Now a rig like this is going to run you a bit over a $1,000 USD so it may need to be scaled back. In which case swapping out the cpu,ram,and mobo could help out: Core i5 720 Gigabyte or MSI Mobo with 1156 Socket 4 GB Corsair DDR3 RAM However keep in mind for something like modeling a Core i7 is really the way to go, and really if your going to be doing complex animations to high polly models, I would say it is the better choice. You could always go cheap on the GPU for now, and upgrade it latter if needed, but in the long run going all out to being with would have been cheaper. Something like a ATI 5670 will give you decent gaming ability. Your not going to be playing GTAIV on high or anything, but its a good value card for descent gaming.

Scrap all third part codecs and just use ffdshow. Also you need to configure ffdshow not to use itself for decoding em4 videos. Anyways I see some strange errors in there I have never seen before like: ?VVideoTexture::InitTextureRenderer(): could not find output pin [80040216] I also see some other things like this, that I havent noticed before: Extension GL_ARB_texture_env_subtract not available This leads me to believe your video card simply doesnt meet the requirements for EM4.

I dont know that I will provide the scripts, but it will be possible. It is actually possible in the other submod to use the tiller or tower in both stations, it just requires more code that I dont want to implement. It is possible that YSB or some one could consider doing an alternate script that would allow say two towers(one in fs1 and 1 in fs2) Send me a PM. I actually have some crown vics atm that needs lights more then i need the whole packaged redone. If you could do those first, PM me about it.

Well it was a closed set and for all he knew the siren could have been coming from some where else..not with holding engine noise like NFK said. Well lets see the director probably had mere seconds to react. QFT. The set was just made? I doubt that. It would have taken them awhile to get all the trailers unloaded, the cameras in place and be filming a shot. I would think that would take 30 minuets to an hour and thats a conservative guess. Secondly, assuming the officer reported for roll call that morning, surely he would have known, and I am sure the officers already knew it was going to happen days in advance. Not to mention seeing a Semi come around there was about 3 big ass vehicles coming at him just seconds before would probably be a good indication to watch out. It's an SUV, there built strong..and seriously lay off the caps.

I would take a Pontiac(Trans Am) over a Saturn any day. And yeah this is old news. The said they were going to close it awhile ago when the car market went up in flames. Although I never quite understood the point in GM owning Cadillac,Chevy,etc. I would have slapped the GM name on all of them ages ago.

Thats the dumbest logic I have ever heard. It takes about a year to MAKE the files, its doesnt take a year to make some minor changes to some files. Theres a huge difference. Plus as some one else said, there will be a crack soon enough.

Theres no need for a second swat officer w/ shield. Just send one with the shield and the villain will be focused on shooting him. You can even turn your back to the suspect and still not take damage. In missions you will but not freeplay. Then flash bang with a second swat and your done. Although some times, atleast on w00ds map, I find the suspect has the gun pointed at the victim so raids arent a good idea.

Horrible idea. My scripts are heavily customized, so if you do that you might as well just use the stock LA Mod. Yopu need to edit all three fire station scripts. At the top of them find where it says OBJ_LADDER, and add OBJ_HES and point it to the HES truck in the same manner OBJ_LADDER refers to the tower ladder. Now replace all instances of OBJ_LADDER with OBJ_HES and OBJ_TILLER with OBJ_LADDER.

No one said it doesnt take priority, but I dont know if I would say he was using due regard. He just saw a Semi and two big ass trucks come through the intersection in an area that was being used to film stunts. Obviously there was little to no time to shut down production seeing as Optimus Prime had come around the corner seconds before. Also, if emergency personnel are approaching the intersection when they have a red light, isn't it the responding units duty to yield until he deems it safe to proceed? From the looks of it, the officer had a red light and did not yield even though with the massive crowds around, he likley would not have had a clear enough view to watch for oncoming traffic. What if that crash had been the deciding factor in a life or death situation? Cutting through a closed road for a movie set is a bit more unpredictable then cutting through a road closed for say road construction, a water main break, or any other condition which a road may normally be closed for.

lol I got a rant like that for you. One night I stepped out on my balcony to smoke about 5 AM or so as I heard some commotion out side and hadnt had a smoke for a bit anyways. Well I was led to believe there had been some car break ins in the area recently. Well there are two shitheads mashing a tv in the parking lot. I said WTF, and i think they heard me and took off running. There was glass smashed all over the parking lot. Well I assumed it was kids just being kids BUT with recent break ins I wanted to report it just to be safe. Long story short I told dispatch twice they were smashing a tv between this address and that address. She asks which direction where they heading. I said south past the office. Well I was just about to come in when I seen a cop car speed through the parking lot. He loops around twice and then stops and gets out to walk up towards the office. I walk over there and tell him I called it in, and what happened. He told me that the dispatcher told him that they broke in to the office and stole a tv. Well I dont know that comfort is the right word, but more so a goal. I wouldnt consider myself back in terms of modding, yet. I do have a few little things I need to do. I was working on reorganizing the FS scripts by changing things like Engine01 to Engine 17(for example) to make it easier to track what unit is being used in which bay, and I might even follow an idea TexasDPS threw out awhile back about splitting each station in to its own script. Again that would make it easier for me, and easier for others, but I dont think I am going to follow through with that stuff until the others have finished there work. Oh and Kookas had PC Problems about a month ago so two team members went down with PC Problems.

It looks like they screw up on the ESD Patch as both are Deluxe versions.
