Yes I have a few other things, but I am trying to get focus on getting this out of beta stages before moving on to other projects.

^lol that reminds me of a good one on my self. lol Well in high school, my buddies and I would get a cooler full of water balloons to throw after school. We did it two or three times no problem. Till the last time we got busted by the school cop. Well he didnt do much, just a traffic stop and we were on our way with a warning. Well we cruise away from the school and we see 2 guys from a near by rival school walking. My buddy asks if he can throw a 20oz sprite bottle at them. Not taking him serious I said sure..so he shook it up, loosens the cap and throws it at them, and of course we keep on our way. So you know what they say, three strikes, and your out. Well we got a third strike alright lol. Were not far from the other 2 incidents and close to one of the college campuses. So we see this college chick in a white shirt and short shorts jogging with her ipod(the little bity ones). We pull up, I slow down(I was driving my Explorer the whole time) and one of my friends nails her on the ass with a water balloon, and another friend barley missed her. So we drive around for a few and then stop at the local station which was a full service station so we always knew people working. The chick comes in, asks a friend of mine at the register for a pen and paper. He gives it to her not knowing what was up. She takes down my plate number, and says her dad is the Sheriff. I mean THE Sheriff, not just a deputy, literally THE Sheriff. We all laugh in her face thinking shes so full of it. Come to find out a few days later, after the two school cops get us 2 days of in school suspension for the balloons, and the sprite bottle, a Sargent with the local Sheriff department showed up at my parents house one evening(obviously being in HS I lived at home), and talked to my parents. Needles to say I was in some trouble for a few days.

PD: 2 in each. I usually just send one out at a time as needed and send most on patrol and put a few on stand by at various places. FD: Station 1: 3 ALS Ambos 1 USAR 1 Ladder 2 ALS Engines 2 BLS Engines Station 1 Rear Parking: 1 EMS Sup 1 BC 1 HES 1 Brush Station 2: 1 ALS 1 Hazmat 1 BLS Bus. Parked Cars removed, Parked out front: 1 EMS Sup 1 HES

This is part of the reason I am making people edit the files them selves. Its not that hard and it helps teach people how to do little things like this.

Windows Notepad will work just fine, but personally I prefer Notepad2(google it) as its actually designed with stuff like this in mind.

Probably a problem with filefront. I hate using there service when theres services like rapidshare,megaupload,mediafire,filedropper, or the forum attachment system.

lol thats ok, if you want to name it LES you can, it wouldnt be that hard.

In beta 2 i see that now the icons are semi working, but on the screen to put guards in the truck I notice it now shows the FF/Paramedic icons.

You messed up your info text. Gotta follow the instructions. First of all: <string name="ID_NAME_LES">LACoFD Life Guard</string> <string name="ID_PURPOSE_LES">The LACoFD Lifeguard truck is used for beach front rescues.</string> Where did you get LES from? Thats not in my instructions. If you want it to be called you have to changed every instance of "LIFEGUARD_TRUCK" to LES. Secondly you should have 3 lines for the lifeguard, just like every other vehicle does.

IUS? Yeah I think I am going to take advantage of that to and pick up a 64 bit edition rather then paying $100+ for 64 bit XP. Thing is I cant decide on weather I want to upgrade or not as soon as its released. I think Im going to preorder and then give it a bit just to be sure they dont manage to screw it up between now and then.

AMR 2 is a box style AMR Ambulance people wanted me to release as a submod, I think I have found an easy way to do the pics now though.

Yeah I know I the truck pic needs touched up, but its not the to priority. As for instructions, i dunno how it got changed back, but i went ahead and uploaded an individual text for now. Thanks for pointing that out.

Ok due to a number of things I have added Beta 2 to the first post. The icons did not seem to work for me, but since there were alot of changes this is officially Beta V2. Starting with Beta 3 I will include a text file to indicate the current version. For those with Beta 1, just download the new rar and install the exe.

yep lol thats why i said they walk like they got a stick up there ass. It doesnt look abnormal for the diver to waddle, but lifeguards another story. I doubt that can be changed but I plan to look into it. I also noticed the units folder for the vehicle is spelled is wrong. I made another typo. Its spelled 155lifegaurd when it should be 155lifeguard. This is probably why it doesnt work. I am going to repack the exes now and attach them to the first post in about 5-10 minutes. I also spotted an error in the unit.xml file for the truck.

That could easily do it:p BTW, always make a back up before applying mods, especially a beta one.

Windows 7 already has tremendous driver support. I would make sure your video card drivers are up to date. BTW, Microsoft is now offering free upgrades to Windows 7 when you buy any pre built PC running vista, and you get discount if your purchase a copy of Vista.

The instructions. In the original file I accidental put it in the medical vehicles rather then the fire vehicles. I didnt say upload it, i said post it

The same way as the LA Mod which has been covered a 1000 times on the forums.

Alright I will hold off on repacking the exe files until I hear back from you.
