What about setting this up so your a dispatcher behind a desk but have a large map on a wall in the dispatch center similar to the mini maps in EM4 but taking it a little further. So when you see a blue dot, it has a small box above it saying 3ADAM1 or something like this. So that is 3A1 is near a attempted robbery you can some hoe send out a radio cal saying "3ADAM1, 3BOB2, respond to attempted robbery in progress at 5th and main." Now ideally I would say you push a button, speak into the mic and say "2ADAM1 respond to (inert problem here)" but that would single out those of us with out a mic making the game/sim useless.

A dual monitor set up on a laptop isnt going to be in your best interest. Laptop video cards are not as powerful as a desktop card and the gpu has to work harder to display images on 2 screens. Now it is possible for a laptop I would assume. Most laptops have a VGA port on them, so you could buy a cable to split the VGA signal in two. If your laptop has HDMI port, you MIGHT be able to get a cable to split the HDMI feed, or there may be a cable to split the HDMI into 2 DVI feeds(DVI and HDMI are roughly the same thing) All the settings you will need are in Display Settings(Start->Control Panel->Display settings). A desktop computer is going to out perform any laptop of the same price. The only exception would be a laptop with an SSD compared to a desktop running an HDD.

lol that was to funny, thanks! Well the impalas from the submods use the exact same prototype file name, so one or the other has to be updated. For the soldiers with out strechers, its been like this for ages. FF/PM and FF/EMTs can pick up bodies with out a strecher and put them in the Mass Cassaulity Unit or Coroners Van. Just ignore it and hit ok, its a side effect of the exe installer. You mean Border Patrol Charger? LAPD Charger has the chase command.

Technically you can add vehicles to any mod or submod, its just a matter of knowing what your doing. Its not hard so much as a little time consuming(unless your moddeling and UV Mapping).

You might be right, but i thought there was gate references in there, so in that case it does need edits, but im just trying to give him something to build on so he can try to learn.

Hi mad man, you need to change several scripts to get this to work. LAFirestation.script, LAFirestationstart.script, LABatlaionChief.script and LAtofirestation. Open the LAFirestation start scripts, search for VO_HAZMAT and post some of the code before and after here and I will give you some pointers to try it on your own so you can learn. This way you can slowly start altering the stations to your liking. Personally I like the tower in FS2 instead of hazmat so I have a unofficial light force in that district.

You can add them but not sure they will work, although the concept interests me. I believe you would have to script these changes, and i havent checked to see just how hard that would be. As for hose connections, with the LA Mod you are limited to 4 hose connections. Any more will cause a crash I believe.
