  1. Few questions here. Regarding the chase command, I see mention of ambulances in there now..whats that about? Also see there was a change to the speeding ticket part. What does this change do? Whats was the change the rapid deployment? From the looks of the script i am guessing on occasion people didnt enter the truck automatically when being undeployed? Last but not least, would any one be so kind as to specify which four intersections were fixed?
  2. Yes, it would have the ability to spawn all types of police officers(LAPD, LAPD SWAT, CHP, LASD, etc).
  3. Would you like to see a control panel placed at the police station to spawn officers, the same way we have a control panel for fir firefighters at the fire stations?
  4. Thanks Shane, but sadly thats not the problem as I expected. I had an EMS Captin staff the ladder the other day just fine with out editing the unit file. None the less I updated the change as you pointed out, and yet the tiller will staff fine, its only the tower that wont staff.
  5. Looks wrong to me. The one in the pic on the vehicle doesnt have the slanted pods on the end. Plus the one on the BC is a strobe bar, not LED i believe.
  6. Load the editor, and change the traits of the unmarked car so the unit type is the same as the regular pd car. Search for "unit type" and you should find some reference in how to do this in the editor if you dont know how. If you have LA Mod1.9 its the new map most likley. Look at the small firestation and see if its a one story building or more. If its one story, then its the new map. If its more then 1 story, its the old map. Use the edit button while your at it. What dizza meant was read/search the topic, see its been reported already, and dont clutter up the thread with more reports of the same thing when were already well aware.
  7. Im going to be nice and simply say Jab and MCERT are 100% correct. It was shot down before and I know Hoppah gets tired of hearing a bunch of children whine because there suggestions arent put in his mod because there either stupid, unrealistic or both, and I do to, Pretty much everything you listed as been deemed not possible(at this time) or unrealistic. We would all love nothing more then a CG chopper to pick people out of the water, but at this time it isnt happening.
  8. No by no means, do I want the real credit here. When you add 120+ lights(ladder) to a rig and I have 5-10 for a TA, I really dont expect the credit. Like I said many times before this was really a private mod, but i decided to release it until some one was able to update PRL, Tony's Light or Both. And in case you didnt see it I changed the first post yesterday to try to sum things up rather then ramble on. If you or NFK either one arent satisfied please let me know what youd like it to say and I will be happy to update the first post anyways you see fit.

Then if the maker can model any he can technically model the vest and helmets separate and put them on the model of the stretcher crew.
  10. When you click retry it should tell you a script name and line number. What script and line number does it say. If your units arent showing up it has to be firestationstart most likley.
  11. You need to make sure you have the right(or edited) freeplaybase.xml or freeplaybase_d.xml(depending in if you use a regular map or deluxe map).

  13. And..? Im aware, I never said it didnt cause a problem, i simply stated i cant seem to see the problem. Once I get some sleep might look into this some tomorrow.
  14. ^unless its 4wd its not going to matter much if its FWD or RWD. We had a bad ice storm back in January, unlike anything the citys ever seen. I had to get a tow a few weeks later and was talking to the driver, and he said that it was so bad they shut down the interstate because cops kept sliding off the road. He said they pull a cop out, hed get going, theyd go pull another cop out, and the first cop was stuck again. None the less when it comes to FWD and RWD on ice, I have always heard FWD is better, I suppose since the majority of the cars weight is in the front. Not sure I was under the impression, the Interceptor was the likley replacement for the CV Interceptor.
  15. Not sure if any one besides Hoppah can answer but I noticed in lafirestationstart the script it uses the command VcmdStart to staff the riggs when the game starts, but how do you tell the game/mod to run a command like this?
  16. No problem, I looked at the station alarm, and I cant seem to find a problem with it. I see no reason the game shouldnt allow two different alarms looking at the way the script is written.
  17. Well if you like I can easily remove it, but i think its clear, this is not PRL. And no offense, but the whole first page of PRL was discussing how unrealistic your lights were anyways, so I wasnt under the impression that they were ever truly that realistic to begin with.
  18. On the charger and impala? I know the other units need some tweaking, but the projects not done. I have gone through all of the packs from Tonys thread, and have a few of yours to finish going through so I dont want to touch them up till I have all the lights on all the units. BTW did you get you computer sorted out?
  19. Put them in a folder and zip or rar them up and upload them.

  21. Nice job, Id love to use it if we had an airport on the map. On the repacking, i never repack either. Just a theory, but EM4 wasnt the best written game even in its day, so I suppose it has problems with files that were packed, and then unpacked. If the files never been packed, then it will pack it up fine.

  23. No that would require modeling and im not altering models because thats not the base of the project, i dont have permission and, well most of all I cant model. I dont have a problem with suggestions and such but dont be offended if I dont add them because this is my personnel project and was never intended to public release but people want a custom light pack so I decided to put this out as a quick fix as I already had the lights ready.
