Well since there not originally in the LA mod, why not ask in the unmarked submods unit thread since you have to realize thaths where they came from.

The editor saves the change to the e4p file in the prototypes folder. -
The unmarked units ubmod, even just the charger itself is more then 2 files once its all said and done. If you install it your going to disable units in Shanes mod, so it takes a bit of work. Then he wanted the fs traffic lights, so why dont you set that up on the map for him and post it here should others want it. Not to mention that might need to be edited into lafirestation so it doesnt over write shanes changes. So like i said, take your own advice. Dont be lazy and help him out since you know so much. Anyways, I wasnt sure if I could start a separate topic for this or not, but I was wondering what everyones favorite park of Shanes awesome work is?

I might. If i do its going to just be a copy of the ALS engine since the cab is almost identical nor do i have the patience to do the amazing work CFD and NFK have done. I am waiting to hear back from the unmarked units submod author to see if I can release lights for those. Of course all credit for those units will go to NFK as he was kind enough to do this for me to release for all of you. So be sure to thank him for his hard work. -
The reason for 2 medics is for realism. In reality most of the time the medics are not going to grab the stretcher right away. They will asses patient(s) and then grab a stretcher if needed. If you select both medics at once and click the get command, then you will be able to click on the ambulance and get a stretcher. LA relies mostly on LAFD for there BLS and ALS needs, however, AMR is used to a small extent, and LAFD can turn the call over to AMR. Not sure if theres some sort of rule and regulation on just how much they can turn over to AMR and so forth, and in the event of a mass causality incident like a terror attack, im sure AMR would be just as primary in transport as LAFD would be. If you need more AMR personnel, sound the alarm for one of the fire stations. I forget which one but it is in the read me file you downloaded with the sub mod.

I really doubt that you all would suffer. I was simply saying a small volume increase, nothing drastic. I have a better solution, I take the time to help people here all the time by provide fixes, script things for others, so instead of generally telling every one to go do something for there selves, why dont you step up to the plate and help out if you think you know so much.

And do we have enough feedback to actuately asses if its to loud or to quiet? Since barley any one has commented then I say no, but now a couple of my biggest fans will probably pop in here and disagree with me simply to disagree weather its true or not.

^glad it helped. When I had the problem, i tired that but it simply made the resolution change, but still did not fill the screen.

Well actually thats the thing, i dont want to have to crank it up to hear it. The rest of the game is at a comfortable listening level so i dont want to blast it just to be able to hear the dispatch.

Thanks but I decided to revert to a back up I had. It was a bit dated and has a bug or two to be worked out but just simple script errors related to parking. I thought it might be the map, but it wasnt, so it has to be in the scripts some where and had to be one of the firestation scripts. -
Last time I checked the radios had a volume knob/button/wheel/something, to turn the volume up, or down, so I dont see the harm in increasing the volume on this. Plus this is a game still, and some of us dont hear so well since we busted an ear drum off the high dive at the local swimming pool.

No you need to unlock the v3o files and edit them in notepad or notepad2(google it).

Upload the script. I have a feeling I know what the problem is but I cant be asked to go through my script right now to look up one script.

You can use Nullsoft installer, but you would have to make 2 different installers, well 4 technically to match up with the corresponding directory, but there installer is very easy to use. Alternatively Hoppah has included a sample script for us here: http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.ph...ost&p=95024 This is for Inno Setup which he used for the LA Mod. I think this is the best method to use as it eliminated the need for multiple installers.

Because some of us like to play realistically. As for the ambulance,learn to alter the unit file and do it for your self. Its so annoying now hearing about, 2 transports..the point of this mod is to be realistic, with in some degree. If people want this so bad, then simply ask how to do it or something and realize it isnt going to happen unless Hoppah changes his mind. Even if he does the only unit i see him doing this for is the large rescue ambulance in the submod.

Well as I said I have no idea. The Jaws rely on scripting to be put on a vehicle, as well as changes to there traits through the editor, so seeing as I havent changed the scripts, I have no idea unless your using this for ShaneGreens submod. -
Possible? Yes. You just need to alter the firestationstart,firestation and maybe latofirestation scripts to include just the police parts. Should be pretty easy to do. Just look at the scripts from shanes mod and look for references to the police in those script, and include them in the original. Then why dont you do it for him if its so easy? Good luck, cant wait to see your work.

I havent the slightest idea what your talking about. I have not given the trailer command to the engines or given them the proper traits to have jaws unless one of NFK or CFDs prototypes had the changes and i missed it. Personally i use the tower,usar,and hes to carry jaws. -
I had the same problem, with the same video card, same monitor and windows 7. You have to edit your config file manually using notepad. Then change these calues to match the display resolution you use. <var name="r_xres" value="1680" /> <var name="r_yres" value="1050" /> I use a Dell 2208 WFP with my resolution on 1680 x 1050 so change those numbers to match the resolution you use.
