  1. Nah, love, love, love. I don't like the US ones where they feel the need for 14 billion Supabright LEDs and you just feel that it's unnecessary. I like a good magnet light I agree about the LFB one's being better than the Met's though! The OC-D
  2. Love the Skoda and the SJA Land Rover! How did you know it was SCO19? The OC-D
  3. Or a thick jumper The OC-D
  4. Depends what stage of writing the ticket you're at, if you've started - finish, if you haven't stern talking to then go. Also, local units are not incapable of blocking roads, moving cones and directing traffic, so it's not a massive priority. The OC-D
  5. Ah, no worries then. I'm 'theocd', same as on here in case you spot me doing really badly The OC-D
  6. World of Tanks, Minecraft, SWAT 4 and Dawn of War are all on my list at the minute What's your WoT Username EmC-Unit? The OC-D
  7. Recovery position straight away, you're not going to know if their airway is going to be compromised in the next few minutes and without that they die. If you aggravate fractures or even a C-Spine contravention in saving their life then that's a small price. This answer also ignores the difficulty that is removing a motorcycle helmet from a casualty... The OC-D
  8. Good luck! You'll be fine Remember/; Effective, Safe and Prompt - even if your treatmen isn't spot on, as long as it doesn't make things worse, you should be fine The OC-D
  9. Oh no, the lowest level police are dealing with low level crime with a spare resource, what an outrage! The OC-D
  10. Yeah, if you don't know what you're doing it can be a bit intimidating but the game's are good and the people more-often-than-not very friendly Bear in mind this is the British NRA - not the American one. We sit in a shed and discuss the bore-size of various Enfields All it is is an Administrative body that allows me to shoot on their property, as I don't happen to have a 500m range lying around! 11. It's absolutely accepted and I was perfectly happy to let them do it, just made me jump! The OC-D

  15. I crapped myself on Friday night at about 23:00. I looked out of my kitchen window and there's a half illuminated floating face in my garden. When I turned round I could read the 'POLICE' on the back of his vest but the fact he was all in black holding a torch in his mouth meant that all I first saw was his face. He had a sniffer dog with him, seems like they'd raided next door and one of them had chucked something. The OC-D
  16. I have a .177 Air Rifle for the garden. Then I am a member of the NRA and LERA so I shoot small and full bore between 10m and 500m Might try the water balloons then, cans filled with water are good Why no to Airsoft? The OC-D
  17. Highway's Agency Traffic Officers. They patrol Motorways and some A-Roads and assist the police with incidents doing things such as towing cars, setting up cones/closures/diversions and directing traffic The OC-D
  18. IS that HATO's I spy in the screen shot? What can they do? The OC-D

  21. Yeah, you know you're in a good division when they're keeping you instructed on everything. I remember the first night I attended, I was collaring and boarding someone in a training evening. All I done was the Emergency Life Support but they thought I'd need it eventually and I might as well get involved! Within a couple of months, before I was even an FA (no TFA back then! ) we'd be shown round the vehicles etc. Our division is trying to implement a board with a local area map and pins with the most common duty locations. These pins would be numbered to a chart that lists most common injuries and most common treatment items needed so you can revise and stock up before you go The OC-D
