  1. Awesome - thanks for the explanation! They look really cool The OC-D
  2. Looks amazing! If you don't mind me asking, what's the point in the three Sprinters if the skin is the same? The OC-D
  3. You need to left click on the button and *right* click on the place where you wish to send it, as you would when moving a unit manually. The OC-D
  4. I vote 'No', I like pulling vehicles up on the pavement or on the shoulder, and sticking 'Rear Reds' on, with traffic still passing - after all, that's what Rear Reds are for. If you want a redirect, use an officer, that's my two pence anyway It's looking really good! The OC-D
  5. Unfortunately I've gone the other way, I'm current 'unqualified' as I didn't revalidate - I just don't have the time alongside a Masters. Currently wavering on the edge of the organisation, I may go back in or I could well drop out. Congratulations on your degree offer - hope you enjoy it! The OC-D
  6. I think its a great choice - its sitting as my most played mod at the minute so well done guys The OC-D
  7. They spawn on the map in free play and can't be called from a menu, hence why you won't get them in Campaign mode. The OC-D
  8. If you're still having problems your arrow keys might be sticky, give them a good wiggle to make sure they're not being pressed The OC-D
  9. Looks so odd with the driving on the right but oh well! Amazing job guys, looks really good! The OC-D
  10. Yeah, so essentially he wants something 'hinged' rather than deploying straight - I get you. The OC-D
  11. I'm not quite sure what you're looking for mate, the video you posted is an ALP - Aerial Ladder Platform, which is similar to the original one in game in that it can both 'connect to buildings' to rescue people and deploy water onto a fire. What else are you looking for it to do/not to do, you mention it 'setting up like a ladder' but all aerial vehicles will do so in that way, surely? The OC-D EDIT: (Some time later... ) I think I know what you mean now, but clarify anyway...
  12. The rubbered epaulettes have been around for years, my first sets issued with my black and whites were rubber. Epaulettes seem to be a bit like unicorn poo at the minute, but theoretically you should get two sets issued with your uniform. The OC-D
  13. It's not a problem with the mod, the price of Units goes up the more you have on the map, its standard to the original game. If money is such an issue just type 'magic' when in freeplay and then Ctrl+Shift+F11 gives you 100 000 credits. The OC-D
  14. Looking good! What's the green lightbar on the back of the van for? EDIT: Ha, same question ^ The OC-D
  15. Are you referring to the (British) Civil Nuclear Constabulary? If so, they are full police officers, they are set up as a constabulary under the Energy Act with a Chief Constable and a range of powers. It may be only in relation to certain areas but they are still a police officer, and can be granted full police powers outside that area with a Mutual Aid negotiation. I don't believe such a thing as Peace Officer exists in the UK...? If you're not referring to the CNC, I apologise! The OC-D
  16. This mod is looking seriously impressive guys The OC-D
  17. Handsup! - You've slightly simplified the jurisdiction of the CNC, they also have powers up to a certain distance (couple of miles?) outside their establishments and, whilst not included in either of the formal Mutual Aid agreements, they can provide mutual aid with negotiation. Due to the majority of their personnel being Authorised Firearms Officers, they are frequently desired elsewhere e.g. G8 Summit and Derrick Bird. This is a really good thread though, I'd realised we'd moved on from the 70's - "If ya cross the county line, the Sherrif can't get ya!" but its interesting to see the differences The OC-D
  18. Six confirmed dead - still on the BBC. RIP all, best wishes to families, responders and witnesses. The OC-D
  19. It's on the Humble Weekly Bundle if people want it with 4 other games for $1! I've started playing it too, it is enjoyable if a little clunky at times The OC-D
  20. @Fred03 I can't quote for some reason. I had assumed so, and I didn't really get the point until I read the Wiki article on MRAPs, but it makes sense. I study Paramilitarism and Policing in the UK and am well aware of the DoD -> LE issues present in the US at the minute. They look so much better in black is all I'm saying! @CCCXLII (or should that be 342?) Loving the white colour scheme, nice to see practicalities taken into account - I like the shininess as well. The OC-D
  21. Amazing, how many different chemical incidents will there be? EDIT: Did not notice the answer in the posts above mine. The OC-D
  22. It already happened in London, the murder of Lee Rigby last year was an attempted public beheading... The OC-D
