Little update.

The seagrave rear mount, my all time fav unit! Looks awesome, a little too wide I think, maybe make try it a little taller? If that makes sense? But besides that good job!

Btw, you should have said, I still have the original .psd versions of my ladder skins, if you'd have asked I could given them you, save you some time

Still I'd check in the editor, especially if it's your user who's posting to promote the mod

I agree, looks good, besides one or two weirdly placed wheels and the alpha reflections (can be fixed in the editor, untick alphareflections) it's shaped out well. I like the idea of districts. And as a huge Black Keys fan I salute your song choice too.

Hi Dyson,
Maybe you can try this?
I really don't know if it's dutch, but if so, you can PM me and I'll translate it ^^ (Or use Google Translate XD )
I use http://www.vertalen.nu/zinnen/
I hope it works

Very, very useful thanks! I was only planning on editing the GUI but with this I may be able to create my own haha!

Hi Guys,
Currently working a GUI for my mod, I've done the basics like background video and changing UI skins etc.
However, I'm now trying to edit the positioning of certain things, such as moving buttons around etc,I know this relies on the x/y positioning. However I'm currently baffled on how to figure out x/y locations, I've tried a few methods but all in vain.
Any ideas from people that are more adapt to editing GUI would help, just some info on the above would be extremely helpful!

I will model the grill and it will give it more depth than just the picture of the grill, that will improve the looks.Mine is a 1998,I think I got the Surrey and North Vancouver rigs mixed up...both will be included but the latter will be more modern in lighting.
EDIT-the whole grill with sides is modeled with depth now and looks good at all angles now.I also used a better picture, not as dark.
Looks great, might I suggest gradient on the windows? I think for such a good texture the windows don't hold up to the rest of the quality, if that makes sense?

Hey developers,
Is this still an active project?
We opted to continue work on modding Em4 rather than starting work on this, it's still an active concept which we hope to return to, but for now we (speaking for Raf too) feel our efforts are better placed in modding than developing for the time being.
Hope this was clear and explanatory.

Okay cool..thank you dyson appreciate it. I been trying to make some street alarm boxes to add..hit and miss with it but would be a cool idea since boston has so many. NY too just saying
anyway thanks for everything.A feature that will be in v3

-
thats an idea..will have to see if dyson is okay with it ut would be a better city feel than the current map. even though I like my map. lol
I prefer the campaign map you used, it's far more dynamic than the LA map I edited, with bridges highways etc.
You can edit the texture of that map, they're all in the downloads section

Department name, which will encompass the city and purpose.
By any chance Newfoundland Canada? And err something like traffic or parking enforcement at a guess.

Loving the progress, keep it up, this looks the closest to being the next released US mod!

Keep up the rate of work

Hi guys,
First of all congratulations to the Modding Team for this great work so far. I'm one of these guys that cant wait for the Miami Mod release so i'd like, if it's possible, to tell me about Mod's release. I don't ask you to tell me the accurate date of release. For example near 2013 Summer ?
Thanks.
Well, from behind the scenes I can give you a status update, I hope Emc doesn't mind.
Models for the mod are pretty much complete, across PD, EMS and Fire.
Scripts need tweaking still, fire house scripts and others for gameplay.
The map (which is my responsibility) is around 40%, however I've mentioned to Emc that I wish to start over when I have more time.
So in short, the mod isn't yet at the stage of completion, I believe if I had the time and dedication to work for 3-4 months straight on this project I could have it finished to a good standard, however finding the time between my studies and Manhattan Mod, is hard. However as soon as the Manhattan Mod v3 is complete, or we get a break for a while, this will be my priority.
Hope this fully explains the current situation.

I know the fire department covers medical services in the US but here in the UK it cost millions just to pull an engine out of a station and to a call so why do they send an engine out to assist why no another ambo or a first responder like here would that not be cheaper?
In a City like NYC, where response times are averaging 3-4 mins, waiting for an ambulance could take upwards of 10 minutes.
Regardless of cost, the city, like most others too, aims for best and quickest response rather than a budget related one.
There may be more into this, but as far as I know it's as simple as that.

Britain Scotland,Wales and Northern Ireland are there too lol
Yes, but I think he meant specifically England/Wales area, which was correct and is slightly different to Scotland, in markings and vehicles.
And extremely different to Ireland, which looks more like tanks than Police vehicles haha!

Greater Manchester Police firearms unit? In well England/Wales, Greater Manchester
It's like a SWAT team vehicle, well sorta. It's basically armed response, since regular cops don't carry in England, because they're not so gun happy over there
Well done, I figured it'd be easy.
Yeah I chose this because one rolled through my small village doing about 70 going code 3, scared the be-jesus out of us all. Turns out some smack head had a kid hostage with a rifle (air-rifle, because y'know we wouldn't be daft enough to hand out real guns
). So yeah these guys turn up and bust down doors and all that jazz.Manchester Armed Response Unit, Greater Manchester Police, UK

I skimmed through old topics, but most were atleast 2 years old.
After recently purchasing my own collection I invite people to post their own, with photos etc, have some appreciation for the now closed down die-cast replicas.
Being my first models, I was amazed by the level of detail, the little things like extendable legs and even how big they are, I wasn't sure what to expect with 1/64 scale!
Well here's mine, going to upload some more photos later.
I'm focusing just on the popular FDNY models, my favourite rigs around, with the exception of Chicago.
- Ladder 43
- Ladder 26
- Squad 61
- Rescue 1

I'm hoping to get an old and new (Marauder II) seagrave engines too and hopefully a tower ladder.
I hope to see some awesome pics and especially any kitbash edits you may have done, or even just seen

Hi Dyson,
I would've sent this via PM, but I was getting an error message stating that you could not receive any more messages. Anyways, on to the task at hand: I was wondering if we at the Aiken County Submod team could use your stretcher script in our submod? You would be given full credit in the readme, of course.
Yes, originally created by Godra and adjusted and set up by us. Just credit both and use what you want.
