  1. Hey guys, I'm looking for a pair of non-disposable gloves that meet blood borne pathogen regulations. I'm going to be using them in an EMS setting, so I don't necessarily want a large heavy extrication glove, but at the same time it needs to offer some protection when working in a wrecked car or moving furniture to be able to get a patient out of a house. I just don't like having to carry 5 sets of latex gloves on every call and continuously have to change them. Essentially, I'd like something like these, Ringers: SuperCuff Rescue and EMS Gloves , just with a blood borne pathogen barrier. If anybody knows of any products or has used a product like what I've described please post them, thanks
  2. I was never an explorer, my Ambulance Corps had their own program that, at least seems, very different from the explorers, and I moved up to the regular membership several years ago, so I'm not sure I'm really qualified to be moderating an explorer forum.
  3. Just a couple of things I found when looking at the website's Trade/Buy/Sell Rules & Terms Of Service 1. line number 1 should read: All sales are between the seller and buyer. 2. line number 2 should read: All sales posts must be closed after you have sold your products. Finally, I would add something about how your site is not legally responsible for how you use the equipment you buy, since if you don't, some idiot will get caught with something he bought from your site, such as a red light or something that he's not supposed to have, and he'll try and blame it on your site. Now he probably wouldn't win that way, but it seems to me it would just be easier to put something like that on your site rather than have to go to court and have to get a lawyer for nothing.
  4. All SOC companies (squads and rescues) carry full sets of extrication equipment. All Ladder companies carry either a spreader or a combi tool, I'm not sure which.
  5. That's one thing I like about the ps3 with blu-ray disc games, L.A. Noire fit onto one disc.
  6. USA, Department of the Navy ambulance. It's the one that transported JFK's body from Andrews Air Force Base to National Naval Medical Center for an autopsy.
  7. Guessing New York State Patrol is not the same as guessing New York State Police. You are up emergencyfan97.
  8. Unfortunatly I'm on a laptop. I have no idea why this just started though. I'm going to try redownloading the entire thing from atari tomorrow.
  9. Hey guys I've recently started playing 911FR regularly again now that's it's summer and there's no school. I have found a problem with my free play map. It has dark stripes, about the size of a in-game car, running north to south across the map at set intervals. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, removing all the mods I had installed, and have played around with the graphics settings, but the lines still won't go away. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it.
  10. All FDNY Truck (ladder) companies carry a set of jaws for extrication, but rescue companies, such as rescue 1, do respond to most serious MVAs with entrapment.
