  1. That's a problem on your end. Is it downloading super slow or will it not download at all? Keep trying to download it through MEGA. MEGA throws a fit sometimes and won't download, but it eventually does. Most mods don't because then they have to be moderator approved before they are available for download.
  2. Not what i've experienced. I have the Computer myself, and have had no problems with it. Again, only thing is, the graphics card is a piece of garbage.
  3. Not something you wanna ask around here. Anyway, I look forward to the release. Long Live EM4 modding.
  4. Upgrade the GPU to a GeForce GTX 760 or 660 (Or equivalent), and you have a solid machine. http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/CyberpowerPC-Gamer-Ultra-GUA250-w-AMD-FX-4300-3.8GHz-Gaming-Computer/6325729/product.html
  5. It seems that the RCMP is targeted from the looks of it. They've been in the national headlines for shootings a lot. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family, and to the rest of the RCMP. Be safe.
  6. If you take this as negative feedback, you'd be mistaken. All I was saying is that there are a lot of siren choices. Which is good. I like that. Making the mod private for small criticisms of the beta just hurts the people who want to test it out. For an example of what you are doing by making it Private due to negative feedback: A Game developer worked very hard on his/her game, and people were very excited for the release. When the time came, he released an early beta version of their game. People were excited. The first beta testers noticed some bugs that the beta had, and reported it to the developer. Some other testers did not like the beta, and gave it negative feedback. The developer was so upset, he shut down the beta and didn't let ANY newcomers give it a go. Even the people who wanted to play it badly could not because the developer took down a beta version, only due to some negative feedback he received. It's a beta. You may get negative feedback. Also notice that none of the 'negative feedback' left here was based on the gameplay itself. Just on the files the mod contains. Sorry for my long post, but you should SERIOUSLY reconsider putting the beta back up. After all, It's a BETA. Not the final product.
  7. It appears that the download link to the Beta has been removed. Not 100% sure as to why, but it could be because of the comments on earlier pages. And if that is why, taking the link down for the actions of a few and hurting others is just silly. Neither me or Billy meant any offense towards the mod, I just was saying that there were a lot of sirens. Basically what I was trying to say. Oh, and also, the file is still on MEGA. Which means it can still be downloaded. Just thought i'd let you know.
  8. I wasn't complaining about there being a lot of audio files. All I meant was that there were a lot. Which is a lot to choose from. Which is good. Looks great so far. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
  9. I suggest you update the front page to show that a beta has been released. Can't wait to play, looks great. EDIT: Just finished downloading and MY LORD are there a lot of sounds in the audio folder! O_o
  10. Even though it didn't live FULLY up to it's hype, the game doesn't look nearly as bad with the patch. I will say, the game looks GORGEOUS. No denying that. Hopefully they will patch the framerate, and then i'll be able to give it a go when I get my new GPU. And also, I like the missing person event. Gives a use to the Rescue Dog in Freeplay.
  11. I wouldn't go so far as to canceling it, but it's definitely not lived up to the hype from what we saw in this video.
  12. From what i'm seeing so far about EM5, it's just a pretty version of EM4. With TERRIBLE vehicle pathfinding. Oh, and don't forget to mourn our lost friend.
  13. It is a midnight release I think, but I have no clue about a timezone. STE has nothing on times.
  14. Engine 2 gets stuck on the station door sometimes for me. Also, the Hazmat gets both Engine 2 and itself stuck in the station for me. It freaks out when I try to call it out. Fantastic mod otherwise. Scaled units look GREAT.
  15. Plus, Hoppah said his computer would be unable to run emergency 5. Unless he got a new one or upgraded his, the LA mod could be made by anyone with serious modding skills.
  16. Ok, I just played 2, 20 minute sessions and all I can say is wow. That was the most hectic session of EM4 of ALL TIME. I had a natural gas explosion and an earthquake active at the same time. There weren't enough firefighters in the world for the amount of fires I had. Half the map was burning. Great models, great mod, and just wow.
  17. Hmm.. Decryption Key? Cannot wait to play this mod. Goodbye, sleeping schedule. EDIT: Second link works, thanks!
  18. It just looked like a lot of the Civilian drivers made no attempt to even try to move. It's understandable as to how they got stuck with traffic being backed up so badly, but I've seen a lot of cases where people just don't care about the Emergency Services. Here's another example of people preventing the FDNY from responding: I don't personally live in NYC, but I went in around 2005, and I think we tried to get to Yankee Stadium for about 1.5 hours from our hotel in Manhattan. Traffic would be one of the few things that would keep me from trying to join the FDNY at some point in my life. (Also if you want to watch NYC emergency services for some reason, This guy is your guy.)
  19. It just seems like it's something they should teach in Drivers Ed. It's not rocket science. I think people try a little bit to move for rescue 1 at least because they'll go deaf from that beast of an airhorn.
  20. R.I.P to that officer, Seluryar. Did you happen to see Cincinnati Police there? Also, here's a nice picture of the new (I believe it's new) FDNY Engine 23:
  21. I have to let this out. This makes me pretty mad for a lot of reasons. So I was just watching some response videos in NY, and I stumbled across this: In this video E1, E34, T21, and another Engine Company are responding to a call. They are passing through times square and this happens. WHY DO CIVILIANS IN NY NOT MOVE FOR ANY EMERGENCY VEHICLES?!?! Side note: 42nd to 57th was closed for the 8th street festival. This looks like me trying to play the manhattan mod. Not knocking it, I just suck at it Honestly, if I were them, I would just lay the airhorn on the WHOLE time. Not stop once. (Imagine if it was Rescue 1 O_o) If you ever see anybody knock response times in NYC, link them to that video. They moved about 300 feet in 5 minutes. 300 feet. I know not all of the cars could have moved, but some of them just pulled right out in front. Plus, there were NYPD officers right there, who did NOTHING to help. Phew. Rant over now. Sorry for my rambling. Just really made me snap. :/ Screw NYC Traffic. Lol.
  22. Anyway, will there be some sort of military aide? I have my ways of dealing with Protests
  23. I thought that I got I.P banned. Lol. Glad to know it wasn't just me.
