Welcome City man. As stan has pointed out this aint the best place to ask for help. Anyways, most of the people with experience are busy working on mods right now. To top that off, if you cant really do anything for your self, weather its making the models, skinning them, putting lights on them, making scripts,etc, then chances are your not going to find some one or some ones who are going to sit back and make a mod for you. If you can bring something to the table you may find people more willing to help out. Furthermore, usually, the best mods are made when some one involved actually has knowledge of one or more of the departments in question. For example the LA Mod is made by Hoppah, who is from the Netherlands, i believe, and doesnt really have much knowledge of the internal working of the LA Emergency services, but Mikesphotos has been kind enough to lend his expertize on the inner working of the LA Emergency services to Hoppah to help maintain the realism factor. In the mean time enjoy the LA Mod and the NY Mod that is nearing completion I believe.

^thats a crane, now a wrecker/tow truck. I believe there was a crane in EM3 if thats what your looking for. It would be in the tec menu, otherwise the flatbed truck in the fire menu will haul the semi off for you.

To use the LA vehicles in the original 20 missions you need the mission patch. Its in the bug thread for the LA Mod I believe.

It depends, some times you can skip 3ds, but this has been discussed alot lately on the forum.

It might be possible but so far no one has scripted such a function. The only solution may be to decrease traffic on certain paths.

You can but bmp is a completely uncompressed image format, so while it offers better quality pictuers, it also makes for much much larger file sizes. PNG is similar. JPG offers a reduced quality picture but a much smaller file size.

They have one car modeled and you all are already begging to be testers? Give it some time gees.

They have bad service for not wasting time with kids(no offense jab) emailing them to download there product as a game, which they obviously have no intention of selling to the general public? Personally I dont see the problem..

w00ds, i cant be asked to make a screen shot, but if i recall correctly the bus stop in question is towards the bottom left corner of the map. I have played the map atleast 5 times, probably more, but i would say something like 2/5 times the bus stopped at the buss stop and would not proceed on its path. The other 3 times I had no problems with the bus stop. I might actually play now actually, so if I do I will post up a screen shot if it happens, and post one of the location regardless.

I will look into the bus stop fix ASAP. I to have had some major traffic head aches over that stupid bus.

As NFK said yes it does, but just a suggestion, make multiple installs of the LA Mod. I have one with the Brush,HES,BC,and EMS Sup parked outside the back of station 1, and then another copy for w00ds second map. This way you can have a copy for multiplayer that would be standard so theres no compatibility issues with multiplayer.

I agree on the Carbon Motors. I LOVE The Indiana State Police demo unit on the sites main better. It was discussed here before and mike shot it down for many reasons if I recall. Price and parts availability being two reasons.

I love that Mitsu! We use Crown Vics and Impalas of course. We do have one Dodge Charger thats rarely seen, an Excursion thats seen very few month. We have an International Bank Car for a swat truck that gets little use as most of our SWAT are patrol officers by day so they usually respond in there patrol car. We have a mobile command unit thats a old step van, about like a UPS truck. It gets very little use like the SWAT truck.

I hate to be talked down to more then anyone and I dont find a single thing wrong with what Mike said. He simply pointed out that what you seemed to state as a fact was not the case. Nor do I see whats wrong with asking for evidence to back up a statement.

I think Ami said it best. I liked the opening page of the old manual better, and the vehicle and personnel section of the old manual better as well.

^excuse my ignorance on this one, as this may be a stupid question but what does CHMSL and BTT stand for? Novious, are you an LA based LEO? Mike, I was talking to my friends tonight, and I cant recall if he said this was just a Cali thing or nation wide, as he just got back from spending a few months in Cali, but he said, note that I dont have alot of faith in this, that Ford is said to be discontinue the CV. In its place Ford will make a car called an "Interceptor" which will be available with a civi package as well as a interceptor package like that of the CV. Have you heard any such rumors?

What good is the pic gona do? For all the judge knows you took it 30days from now.

If you want time to set up your units, then simply edit your freeplayparams.xml or dfreeplayparams.xml so that events dont start right away. Set up your units, and then save. Then you can load up your mod with units in place in the future.

Thanks w00ds, another thing I have had problems with is if I try to park 2 BLS Engines and 2 ALS engines in station 1 one of the engines usually gets stuck at an angle in the back of the first two bays and it cant be moved once its in that position..

I think he means when you click a vehichles image in the dispatch screen and the additional info screen pops up, the vehicles spin.
