  1. Over all nice build but I would look in to swapping out that PSU ASAP! As for the ASUS burner, while I don't trust ASUS Mobos I know atleast some of the ASUS drive are actually just rebadged LiteON drives. I am running an ASUS optical drive in my current build.
  2. According to wikipedia, in other words take this with a grain of salt, says EM5 should be out this year. I don't think that seems unreasonable at all given the game engine is already in place(I assume it's the EM2012/13/14 engine) so it's not like they have to start from scratch. They have to make an editor, obviously, which takes time, and they will probably add some new missions and such but over all, this year seems to be a reasonable guess imo. @BeastyBill88, one of the greatest movies ever made(in reference to your avatar)!
  3. Yeah you seem to be some what knowledgeable in the scripting area judging by some of your other posts, but I think your best bet is to simply use Hoppah's scripts. No point in reinventing the wheel ya know?

Honestly, from what I see in your script, you are over complicating a lot of things with the actor list stuff. Also you seem to be missing the VOs for the gates. From what I can see you have a lot of stuff working against you script wise. I would add the gate VOs and start with a completely fresh LAtoFireStation script and only remove what you need and change what you need.
  8. I'm confused...by asking if it will run, and since this is your first post, it seems implied you have never played the game before. So how can you love it? Not trying to be an ass...genuinely confused. That said, you might have a little trouble with some of the mods depending on how much lighting is on each unit, but the base game itself should run fine.
  9. Where it doesn't belong? Last I checked this was an open forum. If you state something, I am free to respond. My only problem is your abysmal use of the English language as a US citizen. For example " If you want you can remove LA Local Police." There is a way to make suggestions, and there is a way not to. Telling some one they can do what they want with their mod is not the way to go about it. Might not be a bad idea as some people can't let people make a mod the way they want to. I haven't seen anything worth commenting on yet, but for some odd reason I actually have some faith that this will see the light of day. Even if it doesn't contain new scripts or anything fancy I think this could add some variety to the LA Mod freeplay maps by incorporating LAX in the the map in a big way. Maybe down the road I could even pitch in a small hand if this materializes in to a finished product.

  12. LAPD - Why wouldn't he use the LAPD already in the LA Mod? LAX Police - See screen shot. He already did that. Federal Police - Federal Police protect federal buildings. LAX is not a federal building. He can do whatever he wants. If you have a suggestion, make it, otherwise quit telling people what they should or shouldn't do to their mods.

  14. As far as I know the volly companies around here use radios. Actually, I know because when the first Rob Zombie Halloween movie came out my ex and I went on a double date with some friends of ours.The auditorium was packed full and all during the movie I kept hearing talking very faintly. Every time I looked over at the random dude next to me, he was glued to the screen. Eventually he figured out why I kept looking at him and he showed me he had a radio with an ear piece and said he was a volly..needless to say it was messing with my head but we both laughed about it in the end lol.

  16. No idea. Nope, USAR 5 looks almost exactly like the Hazmat truck from the LA Mod so it is actually a much longer truck. As I said, this may be dated. The new videos posted in the thread showed 2 or 3 crash tenders as I recall.

This may be a bit dated but the stations in Battalion 4, which is the LAX area, are as follows: Station 5: TF, PA, EM, URB, Bn4 Station 51: AE, PA Station 62: AE,PA Station 63: TF, PA Station 67: AE, RA Station 80: CR, FM Station 95: TF, PA, SQ TF = Task Force(2 pumpers and a tiller) PA = Paramedic Ambulance EM = EMS Capatin URB = Back up USAR Bn4 = Battalion Chief 4 AE = Paramedic Assessment Engine. RA = BLS Rescue Ambulance CR = Crash Tender FM = Foam Tender SQ = Hazmat Squad

  20. I was speaking more in terms of freeplay as I have forgot what are in the real missions. However, as best as I recall, the Raid in Station Area is something LAPD/LASD and maybe CHP would be more likely to handle.

However,in my opinion, which some will share and some wont, there needs to be a bit of a fine line between just how many units are added to the game. That's not a reflection on any one's quality of reskin, just my thoughts on adding 50K reskins to the game.

  23. Nope, not worth it imo. Just another pointless reskin. I can reason with adding reskins of certain units, for example the unmakred charger becomes a slicktop charger for CHP as CHP is not very well represented in game, but the DEA would be responsible for taking down people smuggling drugs from Mexico to the USA for example. With the current scope of missions in freeplay, they add no real value. Same goes for missions as best as I can recall.

  25. You can't accomplish this on a per mod basis. The locations is something like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4 Deluxe\Data\Video You will have to demux the audio and video to separate streams, then mux the original video and new audio.
