Ok I want to set up a delay in a script but I can't see how do do it since I can;t see a way to use ACTION_* unless I maybe split these 3 lines in to a dummy command of itself. In which case, I think I can do but not sure this is the best route to go. Example code: else if (vt.blah() == VT_BLAH){ if (vt.HasBlah(NULL)) vt.RemoveBlah();}These are the three lines needing a delay. They will actually go in to a random choice variable so maybe it would be easier to add the delay in to int random = Math::rand()%3; for example?

Yeah I mean games are cracked all the time. The new Wolfenstien game is 45GB and I believe it has been cracked already. I guess the scene members that do that stuff are just that damn good?! Not so much replicating but rather seeing how things are done so we could say "Ok the game expects ladder trucks to function in this way so we can fool the game in to thinking it work that way but it doesn't" sort of like the "reverse" for the tiller and heavy rescue crane but on a bigger scale. For example we could see how the driving is handled and maybe figure out a way to make the tiller trailer function properly(well real world proper).

Any one seen these shows? The EMS/FFs are bound to relate to OMG EMT! One run they told about had me dieing! So Ambo gets a child not breathing call. Responds. The child has some wheezing so they realize his air way is not clogged. The family is all out side including a little designer dog who is being protective over the get and barking non stop. The EMT/Medic tells the other to prep the ambo for transport with a dopamine drip and something else. While the other EMT/Medic is in the rig, the family hands over the child to the EMT/Medic, and that's when it happens! Porkchop, the family dog, finally breaks loose and chomps down on the EMT/Medics groin and will not let go! And Sex Sent Me To The ER, well, funny as hell to! You can imagine what this is about. Focuses on the ER side but might find it interesting!

A bit off topic, but I have always wondered, and this might be borderline piracy talk, if you have ever tried to reverse engineer the data files? I have always thought if we did this, it would give us a bit more insight in to the game engine and help over come some of the technical boundaries.

I think there is one a few posts up but I am confused as to weather or not this is the most up to date version or what. Why do we need to know your busy? Like randomperson said, if you have something to say make it contructive, for example, saying what you thought AFTER you checked it out. Otherwise, it is spam because it adds nothing constructive.

http://www.fireapparatusmagazine.com/articles/2012/12/pierce-sends-heavy-duty-rescue-tiller-fire-appparatus-to-portland-oregon.html A tiller...but not a ladder truck. Thought this was interesting.

The thing is I am amazed this hasn't already been thought of/created. That's ugly imo. This lightbar I saw the other night which may have been a valor was able to go 100% white LEDs in 360*. He was trying to light up a dark street and was parked in the intersection using the side of the lightbar to illuminate the street.
-
In what particular way? I was mostly referring to the design. I wouldn't be surprised that there are lightbars capable of multi core led technology and so forth but design wise it seems like an improvement over the arjent which was praised for its visibility Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk

I approve this mod! lol No seriously though, I am highly impressed with your work! You have indeed come a long way since I last saw. My one and only complaint is I noticed a lot of units lacking any sort of radiation for red and blues. If you worked that out, these would be excellent! Hell I might even use some of them in my project, permission pending of course! If your free for some light jobs, I may have a few to send your way but my only request is some red and blue(where applicable) radiation! So I figure I knock a point off for lack of radiation and give it a 9/10!

I guess I can see where they still have there use when it comes to distance seeing as this has a longer range but I can tell you if that was a Valor I saw in action the other night, them things are F'in BRIGHT for LEDs and cast a ton of light at a good distance considering this has been a weakness of LED, and that was 360* lighting at that. The normal red and blue leds on the arjent are bright as hell but they don't tend to cast out much light in terms of directional lighting...if you get what I mean. NFK I am surprised this already has not become a common issue. Yes a slick top or unmarked adds some stealth but the tear drop is always a dead give away that it is or was a cop/fire chief car(AMR doesn't have any Vics, supervisors roll a Ford truck. F350 Super Duty I assume with an enclosed utility camper shell on the back).

Noticed my local PD has a new charger rocking the new Fed Sig Valor lightbar. I have to say I like the design more then the old Arjent lightbars but of course looks aren't everything. Watching the video though, the Alley and Takedown lights are very effective looking. There was a small man hunt with K9s tracking 2 car thieves the other night and one of the units had his entire lightbar lit up as soon in the video and let me tell you, those damn things are bright! Too bright to distinguish what kind of lightbar it was, but maybe it was the Valor given the way it lit up. Regardless seeing this in person and combined with the info from the video, makes me wonder, do you think tear drop spotlights will ever be a thing of the past? The officer didn't know jack about his equipment but did mention he felt it was low profile(but maybe he just got his charger seeing as this is the only one I have seen with the Valor bar which means he would have probably been rocking a CV with an MX7000 previously, but possibly a CV with an Arjent but my guess is probably not). His low profile comment got me thinking and the one dead give away to any slicktop or unmarked cop car is almost always the tear drop spotlight. Doing away with the tear drop would make them blend in so much more(well for unmarked/slicktops anyway). Thoughts?

Thanks for spamming the thread. Been here for a long time and know who are great scripters. Plus Loot is already a member of the beta test team.@Loot yeah I was thinking the same thing. @Hoopah much appreciated! Will look in to those issues tomorow. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk -

Will look at it shortly. As for the issue, both. They speed and go off road. They bassixly act like they are code 3 but maybe slower but going around vehicles and so forth. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk -

Looking for some one with programing/scripting experience to help squash some bugs. 1. The tiller often times does not park properly when returning to FS1. The trailer will end up over top of the cab! 2. When using the chase command, under some conditions, an officer will not put his gun away after putting the suspect in the car. 3. When any of the PD units return to station, they drive erratically rather then nice and calm as if they are on patrol. 4. Somewhere along the line, I managed to break the rear gates for one of the fire stations. The child ids and such all seem to match up! The gates are numbered and named properly as are the VOs. Several testers have checked these to confirm. So if you think you can help drop me a PM and I will PM you the working version of the mod.

Made a test run on the last update I made(Alpha 8 for testers) and seems to me we have a very stable project out side of the known bugs that I recalled. Will have to check the known bug list tomorrow and see. I have sent a copy to Dyson to see about getting these fixed! Any respected modders that want to take time to lend a hand in squashing these few bugs let me know via pm! (EDIT) Ok I was wrong, this is A9. Not sure if anything changed since A8 or not but posting it just in case. Testers, you know how to find it. If not PM me for a reminder. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk -
Well I help run a site with about 23K members and about 5K active, so I know exactly how Mikey and NFK feel. Hell soem of the rule breakers probably don;t care. Some are trolls looking to get a rise out of some one, some are just going to post that and get in trouble hopping for a response anyways. I have admined many forums over the years and soaked in knowledge from many webmaster the same way I really like to soak in knowledge when the Elite Modders tell me how things work or why something doesn't work and so forth! Jack of all trades, master of none is my slogan. Might not be the best, but I like to soak in a wide range of knowledge.
-
A general response to Mikey and NFK, I agree it will not stop the rule breaking! With out a doubt, but it may cut down SOME. If it cuts down SOME then perhaps that evens out the supposed increase work load. My suggestion was based around the idea that the Mods[COMPLETE] forum would be restricted so no one can start threads there. Only once a working version is released will a staff move it. If that is to much work load, hire(so to speak) some one who is very active on the forum. Give them limited mod powers of moving threads only. Even some of the less mature members here could surely handle such a task. Just because it did not work before, does not mean it will fail this time. Those of us who have been around a few years know how much the member base has changed over the years. Modders and members come and go bringing new dynamics to the forum.
