  1. Great mod, was having alot of fun with it . Only thing I could see is that you can turn sirens on for any car on the map, not the end of the world though.
  2. So for those intel users, let me say this is by far the most stable nyceru mod for intel that I have tested. Currently runs on a Lenovo ThinkPad T430, Processor: Intel i5-3320M CPU @ 2.50GHz, 6GB installed RAM, and Intel Family 4000 integrated graphics. Never thought I'd see the day it would run on this thing.
  3. Last post was almost a year ago........trying looking at the more recently replied ones.

  5. Great games, had alot of fun. I recommend for anyone looking to play some good multiplayer games
  6. If you are using internet you have to forward your ports for em4, I would suggest hamachi or something similar.
  7. Let's just ignore the moderators calls to stay on topic, cause that's always smart (sarcasm).
  8. Not sure if this helps, but after uninstalling a tower ladder, you need to turn the trucks engine back on.
  9. ........if you don't want to crowd your mod folder than don't download it? And I'd help Raf and Dyson here by saying that there are not a lot of mods that reach the scope of Manhattan Mod, so yea it has had it share of problems and has improved. Example: Tower ladders went from unusable, to semi-buggy in multiplayer, and now it is completely usable. Its taken them time to learn the trade, if they had waited in V1 to figure out every single problem, the community wouldn't have two other awesome version. I might add that V1 has been improved since it release in V1.1.1 Extreme, which was basically released on nyceru. So I think everyone can agree lets get
  10. The best piece of advice I can give you is to......read the forums. There is tons, and tons of information on how to do it. Have questions regarding modding? More than likely someone else has had your same questions, and there are probably forums conversations out there on it. So my advice is, you say you have a lot of time on hand, spend a day digging through the forum, and I mean dig cause you will find a lot of useful tips, tricks, and information. Again, no one is going to build a modification for you, but that being said we all like to help around here but you need to start doing some independent research. Areas such as tutorials, and modding relating support, and even browsing through some of the modifications topics can help you out. I will however give you this link, you should start here.
  11. Good luck, but you know Manhattan Mod is a publicly released mod right? So unless you have edited it in someway I kinda don't get why are only giving links to your members, just wondering.
  12. Could you pm me the link to it, that would be interesting to use.
  13. Hmm, what did you change to the fires to make the new lighting?
  14. Yes, but lighting does cause some lag, not as severe. When I had my original Toshiba laptop, 3GB Ram & Intel Family graphics, I couldn't play regular Manhattan so I ported the vehicles to the default map. It worked and it ran, but turning on lights severely slowed the game down. Even now that I can run V3, turning on Battalion 9 which was done by Chad still causes some lag cause there alot on that one, but nothing that should stop you from playing it. Again might have to do some testing. If your running a dinosaur pc from the 90s might still not run smooth.

    Help with quint

Sup, so first just to point out, that this should be posted modding related support. On to your question, your gonna need to provide more information. Are you using a vehicle you made? Are you trying to make a actual quint, or just a ladder.Any scripts you used to attempt to make it work? Since this is your private mod no one else knows what you got going on, so try to give some details, pictures, errors from the log file etc. As far as I know, an actual working quint has not been implemented, though last I know Stillwater was attempting it.
  16. Yea the speed commands is mostly used for, at least in multiplayer, for modified responses, pulling the rig out slower and more realistically, and I found it helps with parking the vehicles especially in V3 where you really need to park in the fire lanes to keep traffic going. In high speed their all over the place.
  17. Work is still going, although university classes have started again so people busier.
  18. You appear to be new to the forum. Not sure if this is meant to be EM5 related or for EM4, in which case it should go in general discussion or something. Anyway its a interesting idea and probably possible for someone to model one, but I'm not sure if they would be able to dump water. The smoke jumper idea seems possible, maybe using the rappel command for the army reserve helicopter in LA mod.
  19. I think your taking it wrong, he meant that he wouldn't want people to start using the models, and the scripts etc, however it only contained the mods and prototypes. Obviously it was a big mistake that the link got posted publicly on the forum. No need to chew him out for freaking out, just imagine if was the rcmp mod. Pretty understandable response.
