Well, It's been a long long while, but I come bearing 1.8.2! This one isnt a patch, so you dont need any other versions to download it, I am hoping to get someone (moderator/admin)to put a link to this post on the first post asI have not the powers to do so, but until then, You'll have to deal with here. Among other minor changes, I removed to blurriness from all the lights, Now there might have been a light or two I missed that is still "foggy" so if you see it, post it, and I will attempt to help, same deal as last time as to how it works, so enjoy Hope you enjoy, there are many minor changes I did, such as wheel flippings for ones that got inverted somehow. Well, If it didnt ask, what probably happened was it unzipped them into a new folder, not the actual place you wanted them to go, It is about putting a / or no / in there, I do that sometimes too, work better now tho?

nope, doesn't need to be packed, really, the only reason Hoppah packed it was to prevent people from editing his skins and stealing them... All the original DDS's were not locked, Hoppah just got wise, and decided to do that as an "Anti-Theft system"

It shouldn't I will talk to W00d to see what he changed, if it was just the map, or more... But if this was installed after, then there should be no worries anyways... When you unrared them, did the computer ask you to overwrite?, If it didn't it should've and that is probably the problem

Different keys? That could be because of two things... 1) you have an illegal pirated copy, in which we cannot help you, and you should get a legit copy, or 2) you have the copy in your Registry, and that will need to be removed from that, because it is still being recognized as being there... If you don't know how to do it, don't try, ask someone that does, because if you make one change to an important string, your entire computer could get screwed up...

okay, you are looking lost, so I will try my best to help you... First of all, you change the file type to a V3O and it seems like you already know how to do that, after you do that, go in and unlock it... Now when you come out, back to windows( I would assume) you should see the file, lets call it whatever.v3o, and all you have to do is rename (if you can see the extension) then change the v30 to DDS, after you do that, you should be able to see it as a DDS file, now open this with your program of choice (I use photoshop) and edit it as you wish. If you plan on packing the file again, just repeat these steps backwards. (excluding the changes to the DDS itself ) Does this answer your question.?

Yes, both of them are by Monte Cristo... those are really the only emergency service games I can think of, that are multiplayer... Sorry I'm not more help

Hey, If I am right, it should be under something like LASiren.script.When you find that, all you will have to do is open with a text edtior, and add the unit name (ID) under the script.... Now I could be completely wrong, I just read that somewhere on these forums, so thats how it is done I belive... Well, all I can say, you ever have those years, where all four seasons are very definit, and you can like feel them change... Welcome to everyday of the past 2 weeks... Each day starts as a season, and ends with another season(usualy a full cycle) and of course that makes plenty of fun for deciding what to wear EG. Today I went out, it was minus 27 celcius with windchill (not too bad) and dry, come 10 am it was up to -3 celcius, and by noon, it had starting snowing and quickly raining, for about an hour or so, and then around 3 pm ish, it started to heat up and melt everything... This usually freezes overnight, and it repeats again... Um, sometime last week, it was up to 15 Celcius, which is a warmish summer temperature. Tomorrow will be fun, the city can't keep up with all the ICE that keeps freezing and thawing and freezing, they have to g around everyday the same places de-icing it, so they don't lose half thier population... It's absolutely nuts... Worst thing is, it takes a team of 14 dump trucks 3 plows a snow blower, and about 15 of those cute little sidewalk plows do do the streets in the central part of town, because the only place they have room to put snow is the harbour... so we won't see the end of the snow until about June... So don't forget to visit the nice warm and sunny, not to mention exciting Newfoundland... If you ever had thoughts about visiting, they were just all destroyed with the past week's forecast!

I could be completely wrong, but I think you may be able to import Jpg files in with not to much trouble (only makes sense, why else would they give them to us as jpg ? ), and it could also be a problem with the editor.... I'm not sure if logfile does editor too (mine does I am pretty sure) so do it again, and upload the logfile, so we can see what happens...

Um, as for photoshop, the CS4, which is their newest one, is quite expensive.and I wouldn't recommend getting it unless you are plannig on making money with it (design studio etc.) I would recommend probably CS3 or earlier, they still work perfect, and are a lot cheaper, as they aren't as new... And for photosop you need to DL the DDS converter which can be found in the downloads center, so you should have no troubles with anything when you get that... As for Price range of Photoshop, a legit copy of CS3 is as cheap as 30 or 40 dollars CAD at some stores, (that I seen) becuase where it is "older" soware, Adobe doesn't care as much anymore I guess, so I would recomend investing in photoshop if you can afford it, becuase it is great for so many things, and if not, painshop pro seems pretty good, and I think there is a free version too that will work with DDS(either that, or my friends are pirates, which I cannot endorse here, as I will be warned so therefore, I do NOT endorse pirating!) Well this should help, and as for store names, most technology stores should have it, and definatly look for the smaller game sotres, sometimes you can get a pretty good deal for good software, if you are lucky enough!

Are you using my submods( Tony's Lights) If you are, that is an issue with us, because I used the older prototypes for some of the vehicles such as the tow truck, and a few wheels were turned backwards... I just noticed that... well about 30 minutes ago, and I am fixing that,and I will release the patch for it later... Now I don't know if this is with normal game, or just Tony's lights, but if it is w/ TL, then you would report it in that topic not here. Just for future referencing... I was just seeing if it was tony's lights, because we had the same problem with the Chargers(fixed), as well as the FBI command center, and a few other vehicles(not fixed yet) ~cheers

there are a couple somewhere around the forums, I believe there is one or two left, and I just noticed a new on estarted up... There are quite a bunch of games planned usually for weekends by people. I'm sorry I cannot find the links to the topics for the multiplayer clans/groups, but I suggest searching around, maybe you'll find something, and if there is nothing left active, you can always start one... The only trouble with that is, only 4 people can play at a time, so that is a minor set back

The best thing to do isn't to try to start a game like on the drop of a dime, but instead set one for a time like 12 noon GMT. Then you can have it set up and good to go. I know from personal experience going in and asking right away, you'[ll probably be sitting all alone in that room for a good while. So basically maybe you should try to set a time up for later on, and make sure to give the timezone too if you choose to do so!
