I have asked him to upload his logfile ans sytem specs so we can hopefully sort this out, apparently there have been other reports of crashes, though I have yet to experience a crash... -NFK

I know what your problem is here, you have the LA mod, clearly, and when you DL that, it thinks you have the Deluxe map, but all you get is the underground, you cannot open or play the map! You cannot play it sadly, however I think I might make a non deluxe compatible deluxe map later if I get a chance.

Hi, Red Baron (that's my high school's mascot) If you are using 911 first responders, then you don't need a patch... If you are using the German version of Emergency 4, then the German patch, to 1.3, and the same with UK, etc... They can be retreived from the downloads center... I would likfe to know why you want to use a fire car from another city in the LA mod, and forthe re skinning, it should'nt be that hard at all, one could even do it with paint and the DDS unlcoker. And if you have paint.net or photoshop or anything along those lines, you can even use the gradient tool. And in regards to the LAPD and LA comment, I think what he was saying is that LAPD is the focused police department as we see many LAPD units, then 2 or 3 LASD and a couple FBI and Army. But back to the Reskin, there are many FREE photo editors, such as GIMP, which I believe is free, and has a gradient tool, so you could really do it yourself, I'll do you one better, I 'll even give you the link to thier site : http://www.gimp.org/ and here is a link to the downloads page http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ Hope this will help you with your tasks, but don't forget, you cannot touch anything until it ha sbeen unlocked

The only reason Hoppah put in the wrecked cop car was for the chase mission where they needed a wrecked car... And to flip the car, all you have to do is change the properties to use physics instead of custom, then drop in and it might roll.... This will let it be upside down, but you would have to make a new model for it to be "wrecked"

ah, it is like a giant tow truck:P our support units are just small equipment pickups if we need a big tow truck-esc vehicle like that one ^ then we call in for it... But St. John's doesn't have a big need for those

yeah, I don't know if that was a "Going to be used eventually" or a "was used, but didn't work very well, so it was dropped" feature.. I guess we have to wait for Hoppah to answer that one

He said, before you are allowed to even possibly release it, you have to put some 3d modeling in there... Really even if you just made a box van that would work pretty well, Boxed vehicles are pretty easy, and the FDNY uses them... Just a suggestion though. So in short and simple, you have to contribute 3d models to release it... Hope this explains it

yeah, it takes a good bit of time, I usually get one or two 6 person cars and the LASD van, takes two of three of them though, then I just block off the road with patrol cars... You have to be able to deal with the fires too, so it takes some multitasking... I only block off the roads to avoid traffic jams

there is not, only german, but you install the LA mod, and it is virtually one hundred percent translated for you And you can't use this without the LA mod, so it works great!

well that voice I have never seen a use for yet... but I could just be missing somthing... BTW to evacuate people for that mission, they have to be arrested, put in a police vehicle and sent to HQ.. thats all you can do

@pyro, No problem just doing what I can, and trying to keep all the answers in one topic to help him out, so they don't spread that's strange, it shold open with the engineer.... And as for the entering the plane to disarm the bomb, get inside with the SWAT, or FBI, then shoot down, or arrest the terrorists so that they cannot kill your engineer when he enters to disarm... Then make room for him. After that, I suggest cleaning up your mess with the paramedics Hope this helps you with the mission

ranks here are pretty basic, and I am noticing alot about support vehicles, that is our fire pickups, they do everything, I think there are 15... They get loaded with what is needed. Pretty simple

okay, guys calm down, this is going to get way out of hand here... This is about 3 officers who were gunned down in the line of duty. If you want to argue about gun laws, there is another place for it, like you don't argue about someone's death at their funeral, this isn't the place either. I know you weren't trying to, but it is going to get out of hand soon, so just drop it. And I know I mentioned some tihings about the gun laws as well, but I am dropping it and leaving it at that. use an engineer to open the gate... I am assuming Em3 correct?

nope when a unit enters the area, they freak out and one lights a fire, you cannot stop it unless you kill him before he can do that, and you would need to be lightening fast to do that... It's set up for the mission that way.

hey I did this yesterday by mistake, if you remember the screen resolution you set it too, set your's to the same... Then try opening it again and see if that works.... It did for me

I just saw a thing on MSNBC, the youngest person to ever receive a license in the US was 11... Not that bad right? Well it wasn't 11 years, it was 11 months, thats a bit much, for someone not even 1 to have a gun... basically I want you to give the local terms for the fire ranks and trucks and what it means... Like here, We have Fire Capts instead of Batt Chief and a fire pickup, isnt a burning pickup, it is a small equipment vehicle. A Rescue truck can be the big dirty rescue truck, or the small ambulance rescues we have.. We don't call them engines, its a pumper. And as for the new guy, he is supposed to be called cadet, but everyone knows that never happens. We have ladders for ladder trucks, and Towers, well for the tower truck... The chief drives the chief car, and the command truck is also the hazmat truck... Funny hey, lets stick the radioactive people with the ones telling us what to do XD So tell us about your area and what it is called, love to hear the terms from around the world... Especially what swuad means in your area... Here it means it is another departments truck XD we don't use that term

there should be a change made to that, becuase guns weren't a tenth as dangerous as they are now... I can kill 8 people in 8 seconds with one clip, with a simple handgun... when that law was written you could kill 1 person a minute with one clip... That is why there were bayonets.. I really think there should be change to those gun laws, or else this will keep happening

ve no clue as to why it would be wanting reactivation, but as for reactivation, did you try re-entering the code you did first? If it is a pirated copy of the game, then I can't really help you, seeing how those are unreliable.
