what if you made a new melee weapon that would be like fighting for an officer, but it would be stronger, and the officer would take less damage from it... Like he runs up, with baton out, and swings. then after one or two the suspect quits the fight and is cuffed, or if he is particuarly stubborn, then he has to get bet a few times. If all else fails, he eventually drops to the ground. Kinda like a normal fight now, but only, the officer can do more damage in less time, so it is just like sped up, but the officer doesn't take as much damage, so only one side is sped up.. make any sense?

Indeed, I knew someone would get it, but I was expecting a good few to be trying to guess in the Ontario area. Heres a tidbit of info. the Royal Newfoundland Constabualry wasn't always Royal. It started off as the Newfoundland Constabulary on Fort Townshend, which it still resides in, now as 1 fort townshend. After 250 years the NC was made offically Royal, in 1979 by Queen Elizabeth II. Thats right, after 250 years, the NC finally became Royal. RNC is the oldest civil police force in North america, standing with a quite humbling 280 year service length this year. Hey, it has been said somewhere that Mikey (and possibly others) will be wrecking the newly made cars for the car accidents, so I can't wait to see a charger wrapped around a tree (hint hint) if you mean like new style besides car crash, then I am not sure, I read some chatter about it, but I don't think it was ever said if there is any plans for a bigger, or different kind of accident.

Hey Bernt, I know Hoppah's calling patrol vehicles sript calls the nearest vehicle to the sending location, you may want to take a look at that, I don't know exactly what goes on in there, never looked at that script for that before, so Hoppah or one of his team could probably elaborate on that

Hey, Welcome to the Forums first off, secondly, As for your problems with the ladder truck, it should just be as simple as walking in the basket, picking her up and tell the firefighter to get in the basket, and then to some place on the ground, and drop the woamn for treatment. Try it again, see if it happens again, if so, go to the LA mod bugs section and report it, if not, then it was probably a one time glitch Hope this helps you a bit, Newfoundking

In theory you could make a weapon that when you tell an officer to use it, a few swings could put the criminal in an incapacitated state, but I thiink that it would be better to make one so that not only can you subdue one, but possibly make a criminal surrender easier, and get arrested without much of a fight, because ehre, a few swings with a baton, and they give up. I think this would make a nice little change to gameplay.

I'm sure it would be possible, but that would be a good bit of work to have the animation textures for fireifghters not in bunker gear to run and get in bunker gear, not to mention the time it would take to make all the new models, and the fact that the open part of station one is only one story. Even if you didn't have the fire fighters change, don't you think it would look funny to have a HAZMAT firefighter slide down a pole?

it looks small because all map undergrounds are that size, I do believe this is the full underground, its still the same same as the current freeplay map's size. It looks small because it is 600 odd pixels big on a probably 1280x1024 or higher resolution montier. I am pretty sure the underground is completed, they are just adding everything on top of it now
