I just opt to make the objects follow a path as the train function from the default game can be a little awkward, especially for the elevated rail I used it for.
Regards to yours it sounds like everything is set up correct, just keep referencing the base game map check everything is the same I guess.

As many mods as you want can be installed, few mods affect the data folder and back it up to a seperate location on your pc.

Brooklyn at night
-
Yeah that's what I was going for hoping to add more feel still, I approached brooklyn as if it were Manhattan but I've taken a fresh look at the area and trying to distinguish it from the metropolis over the river.
I'm looking to add more details like variations in asphalt from road works etc but need more reference

After an extended hiatus work will recommence shortly. I'll post some more info as an when it's ready. Thanks to everyone who's waited patiently for the update
-
Looks good a tip though try and match the arm skin too the face besides that nice work
-
Both mods are MP compatible therefore can be used by clans.

So many possibilities but the main suggestion is your cpu isn't liking it, try updating drivers freeing up space etc. the update aims to improve performance on low spec PCs too
-
Do not work how? Won't run? They crash? Won't install?

Looks great man

Yeah I'm kinda hoping someone would do a light pack for the mod with reduced lights for low spec computers. Lights have always been the last thing I've worried about so I've always just been stuck in with whatever lights we had at the time. But the update v2 (which is in development but currently on hold) has seen a mass reduction in size. My estimated minimum specs are 4gb RAM and integrated graphics but recommended would be 8gb RAM for smooth performance

It loads fine in the editor?

Oh right thought you meant like dispatch yeah that's the script we based the homicide call off and planning to write new events too
-
Which script is this? If you give me some details I will work on it
-
Yeah pretty much same as that. You have a call of a body, arrive on scene establish a perimeter then the detectives can examine the body and look for clues. Once all are found the suspect becomes available on map and you have to canvas the area to track him down.
All together utilising detectives and patrol officers for various tasks involved in the event.
There will be more too now I have BMA's template to work from.

Throughout the month of April progress has had to be halted, it had been slowing in March but due to the amount of personal University work I had/have left in my final year I've had to put the mod on hold for a month or two.
The project is by no means dead, just when you're a one man team if you haven't got the time the project stops.
So anyway I thought I'd give some info about what I was working on before it had to be put on hold. Version 2 of the Brooklyn BOF mod, which contains a lot of model updates, texture reworks, gameplay improvements, a new firehouse, new calls and a lot of bug fixes. This version is almost complete now I was just at the stage of sorting tiny bugs or glitches reported in the beta testing.
So anyway I know a lot of people were getting anxious about where the news and updates had gone so I wanted to update you guys, also I'll give away one of the new features, I've been working with BMA and we have implemented a homicide script into standard freeplay, allowing players to investigate crimes and arrest murderers.
So that's all I'm giving away for now hope this explains the lack of news.

This is very useful and very detailed thanks for bringing it up on the English forums. I think this should be pinned and made into a tutorial

Will we be able to redirect traffic or park emergency vehicles on paths or will it be like the Manhattan/Brooklyn mod where you can't because I am not very good with traffic control in those mods all though I do enjoy playing them, it's just a shame because it does cut gameplay for me short.
Yes in areas it's possible but on motorways etc redirect won't be available.

Well I'll be bringing all my tricks from New York to the UK scene
-
We're still working on units and map then we will work on setting it all up with commands etc

Loads yet early shots
