  1. I'm finishing up an AMR skin for personal use, and I've been looking on your site at the AMR photos, I know that there is something written on roof. Do you know exaclty what's on the roof, is it just AMR or is it AMR and the unit number? One last stupid question does the USFS use a truck that looks like to Hoppah's old brush truck, I know they have the Patrol units, but are there different versions which look closer to Hoppah's model
  2. Ok here's my latest suggestion, I know Hoppah isn't very keen on the Idea of adding more vehicles and personnel to the LA Mod, and most vehicles people request are simply reskins of othe units in the mods... so could there be some sort optional download to the LA mod consisting units, made by the community. It could include user submitted, and Hoppah approved skins ( for ex. the LACoFD Engine and very soon an AMR ambulance)and vehicles and also older unused models like the lev. Then people could simply download the file and insert the extra vehicles they want into the LA Mod. Feel free to completely shoot this down. I understand your need to protect your creations
  3. I have two version one with the diamond roof from 1.4 and one with it from 1.5, both have hi viz. I also don't have the mod files to remove the boxes from the roof, so I knew that would look wrong. I'll post photos once I get the second one in game later tonight....They're at least a starting point for LACoFD Engine.. and here are some pics, it's my first attempt at skinning and I did it with paint so the skins ain't great, also not how different it does look compared to a city engine. * EDIT:I have changed the number placement and added the FDNY commemoraion, so they both look like LACoFD E8* anyways I'll let the topic get back on topic
  4. Ok, not a request this time... I decided to use my time today to fulfill a request from this list. I've created a Los Angeles County engine skin using Hoppahs engine 7... I think it looks pretty good I'll post pictures if requested... So Hoppah if you want the skin for the mod, you're welcome to have it. (it's practically your original skin just with the new symbols and stripe, but with the red roof. On a side note I'm not giving this out tto the public so please don't request the file unless your Hoppah, or MikesPhotos( since he can confirm it's up to snuff)
  5. Yep, that would Mercyhurst's Police and Safety truck. They also have several bikes and a golf cart. I was going actually going to post a new photo if it today (spent a lot of time with them last nght) but you beat me to it so you are up.
  6. Nope not a Penn State University officer, It's from one of the other two colleges - so there's your last hint it's from a college- BTW here's their unit
  7. No, it's from another police force in the city. The picture of one of an older unit can be found here: Police Car albums
  8. No, it's not a highway patrol service service. * one last hint, It's from Erie ,PA but is not an Erie PD unit*
  9. It would be like a fire academy, or some sort of training ground. It would be like a much smaller version of what you see in the tutorial. It could have fake buildings which could be set on fire and dummy's instead of injured people. You would be able to control the emergencies and when they occur. They also wouldn't affect your score.
  10. Ok I know this suggestion is pretty far out there, but would be cool: I think it would be awesome if there was a little training facility, like in the Bremmerhaven Mod. It could have one or two training buildings, that can be set on fire on control, and maybe even have the ability to spawn a mock car accident , etc...... I could go on for forever with ideas...... I know it's not an original, but so far not EM4 mods have it, and its a ton of scripting.... still it would be cool and give you something to do between emergencies.
  11. I knew by the color scheme that it had to be an airport unit, so I simply started searching using www.airportfire.com. Then I found this page, and started searching on Google for better images of it. I thought it might have been from Leeuwarden too but the station the unit is in doesn't look like the pictures from Leeuwarden. *Here's the next one* This is a police unit from Northern Pennsylvania As an extra hint, *It's only a year old but online images of a retired unit have the same paint scheme except with a black body* Nobody has a guess yet? - I know it's a toughy.....so do we need a new vehicle or more hints?
  12. Well it looks as if it comes from an airport in the Netherlands, maybe Volkel Airbase? I believe it is an OSC, a mobile command unit.
  13. Not trying to be pushy or offensive at all, but it is a crane Hoppah in those photos on my original post you can see them using it to pull a crashed car out of the water (just like you have to do in game). The boom even rotates around at least in in a 180 degree arc.......Anyways whatever you do is you choice as it is your mod, I play it and love it regardless.

    Jobs n Stories

I'm a Resident Assistant at my college, It's an interesting little job as a para-authority figure for you peers, which of course leads to so much fun ......anyways,about 90% of what we respond to are alcohol violations and probably 5% drug or sexual conduct and 5% fire and medical emergencies (including some interesting suicide attempts). Several months ago we had an extremely violent intoxicated resident. At the time I got a frantic phone call to head to the second floor of my building, so as I push open the stairwell door I get greeted with a chair crashing into the wall next to me. I hit the ground and started scrambling out of the way as the the other RA who was pinned down in the adjacent hallway called for campus security. We explained to them what the situation was and they told us they'd arrive as soon as possible (which usually is a few minutes). We scrambled to evacuate the few residents stuck in the commons room with our angry drunk, and tried to calm him down and in the process I got a table to the back, but I blocked it from hitting another resident. We managed to calm him down a bit and his friends took him back towards his room, so we could get him away from the other 50 people living nearby. When his friends came back they informed us they had put him in his room and showed us which room they put him in....Of course, the wrong room. Right about then campus police arrived, and seven armed officers (mace and tazers only) plus a city police officer brought him to submission. After a medical evaluation later for his high Blood Alcohol and at the cost of four tables, seven chairs, a Television, and good solid bruise later, the incident was over..... till later, when his friends decided to raise hell and cause trouble because we got him arrested. Needless to say he was removed from campus....and he didn't remember a thing the next morning ( always a good thing, I hate when I have a whole bunch of angry people holding a grudge living around me).
  15. That is a toughy.... but the grill gave away the big hint, and the DHS symbol on the bottom right... That would be Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Hazmat/Rescue 1 Delivered on July 2006 according to Pierce's records *Lol beat me to it :P :P* Just out of sheer curiosity does anyone know if that crash truck from Norway is from Bergen Airport Flesland? That was the best guess I could come up with even though it doesn't count.
  16. Correct, This Unit is stationed at the Ohio State University Airport, also known as Don Scott Airfield. It is the only true nearby by ARFF unit though all local companies maintain some approach suits and purple K foam caches outside of what's on their units. THe other airport Bolton Field does not possess an ARFF unit but a station nearby has a dedicated foam unit for both the airport and a large fuel tank farm nearby. So what's are next mystery vehicle?
  17. Getting real close, but Columbus Fire does not protect Port Columbus, Rural Metro does ( Long Story), this truck is a Columbus Fire Department unit stationed at one of the other two smaller airports in the city. *when I check back later I'll give one last hint if it's needed*
  18. True it is from an Ohio Airport..... But witch one?
  19. I know it's a Seagrave and it's at least a 2000..... got it, it's a 2003.
  20. Sorry bout earlier I guess I jumped the gun a bit. Anyways, I believe that that is Washington, DC Engine 19 =From the Hillcrest Station=
  21. I just happen to have a really good internet connection and a lot of time today, that's the only reason I got it. Here's my pic: It's an old Military Unit: What war? Country? and Military?
  22. Took a half hour but here it is: Jeugdbrandweer Putten-Ermelo CT-01 ....Very cool little crash tender, actually there are a lot of cool units on that site...
