Hey I am working on a private American airport mod with a couple friends. I am just wondering how hard it was to get the airstairs working in game as that is his next big project.
The stairs and the plane HAS to be in the game from the start, if you add or move them they will stop working
Other than that, not hard

For now there is 3 off map LFB units. Pump and pump ladders. My math isn't great, but I think that leaves one a mystery.
And that would be the Tow truck

Thank you, the script will be like welfordshire and each vehicle will have a wail, a yelp and a hilo. But they will not be the same for alle vehiclesLooks fantastic guys! When you say each vehicle has 3 sirens does that mean they are manual ones like the welfordshire or Manhattan mods for example?
Sadly no, to make sure the multiplayer is stable we have decided not to play too much around with ui and calls.I'm also curious. Will this have custom made calls like the CPH 1.2 mod or even the custom UI and calls of CPH-Airport?
Because of that, we dont really experience any crashes and it is possible to play for hours without much problems

Hello and welcome to London Multiplayer Mod 1.0
This mod, created by Mariuswww and BMA takes place in the center of the English capital, London.
Here you are given the command of three urban fire stations, two ambulance stations and a police station.
The mod features many realistic London Vehicles and fire stations are made as close to the real deal, as we can.
In total, this mod allows you to take contol over 32 emergency vehicles and 10 different types of personnel.
All vehicles can easily be added to each station with the custom Activate Station script created for the mod. It is also possible to call each vehicle out from the station using the call vehicle command given to each vehicle at the station.
The mod also includes three different sirens for each vehicle, limited water, Automatic Fire Alarms, Gated Wye and Parking.
And best of all! All this actually works in multiplayer and released!

In the original gangway car, it was a static unmovable vehicle. The stairway was a separate walkable object which enabled persons to enter/exit the plane.
Having a movable gangway vehicle isnt possible unless you change the vehicle prototype upon installation of it onto the plane, then create the walkable gangway over the vehicle so that people can walk on/off of it.
That is what i do right now
I have a moveable car which i Change into a walkable object and a vehicle which cant be moved
But the game seems to change the physics of the moveabæe object if i update its position

The problem seems to appear the second i move the object. So if i have a gangway on the map from the start, it works. But if i update its position it stops working

I would say it's because of it being box physics but from the other one working fine it would appear you created the custom physics yourself. It's almost like the one placed via script is not using these custom physics for some reason.
It seems really weired
Any surgestions how to fix it?

It is most defiantly a Physics issue, can people walk through the one placed by the script when it is not "installed" on the plane?
When its not installed its a different model. So when you install it, it removes the original model and adds in two new. One being only the vehicle and the other being only the stairs itself.
So its not possible to walk through the uninstalled model.

I have run into a kinda weired problem in my Copenhagen Airport mod
The two gangways shown in the video are identical(model and prototype), but for some reason the one I placed in the editor works while the one I placed with the script seems to be bugging out. (Watch video to see the problem)
Can somebody tell me what on earth is going wrong or how to fix it?
As said, the models and prototypes are identical

Dude, Welfordshire is an English city. Why would they make it any other language than English?Is this English?

One question: Why have you added the tanker units? There is no need for them because you haven't added the water supply script.
Like all other mods that have been made before the water supply script, they will have some hose connections so they can work as an engine

Is one of the fire departments you used for Skibhus the fire department of Aarhus?
The design on the vehicles are the same, but the models are different

Really, Can't wait, will by far be up with the great mods of BoF and Manhattan, been waiting for a airport mod for awhile!
I wouldnt go as far as saying its better. BoF and Manhattan has some high quality vehicles, this mod has some other focus points
And I will totally agree with you, the modding community have been missing an airport mod

Well technically, for most airports you need to have a strobe light to let aircrafts know that there is a vehicle there so the light is always on (I think).
It doesn't need to be an amber light, especially for emergency vehicles, however amber is the standard flashing light used. They reserve red/blue for emergency vehicles, as a way to signal that that particular vehicle is in a hurry to get somewhere, and it makes it easier to identify to everyone, including the tower. Many Airport Emergency vehicles will have an amber light to be used on the tarmac when not an emergency
I must admit that my knowledge about airports isnt that big but it looks like you are right newfoundking
Its possible to see a video of a responce here, and it seems that the vehicles only activate the orange light when the blue is turned off
Will this mod be in English or will there be an English translation
The mod will be in english but with danish names on the vehicles

Hi! Looking really forward to this mod, its looks very nice, and also great descriptions of the vehicles on the facebook page.
It could be nice if it would be possible to equip the different incident commanders with their vests/clothing as in real life, as for example the coordinating doctor (in danish called) "KOOL" Koordinerende læge) with his white vest, and the fire and rescue leader the silver helmet and red jacket, the Ambulance leader (orange/red west), Police incident commander (yellow west) and so on
Just in case you would get a big accident, it would look great:)

All incident leaders are already marked so its easy to tell them apart from the rest of the personel.

Was anything other than 0.9 ever released? I believe they were working on a second version but, as far as I'm aware, it's indefinitely on hold.
They were working on a RTS 2 but it have never been released

How do you call a tow truck? I see the commands in the provided manual, but there's no button on the radio. I see the ones to call police, ems, and fire. Where am I looking for this?

I'm not sure how European EMS services are but in the US most agencies are actually doing away with long spineboards for almost all incidents.
That being said I'm still really looking forward to this mod, if I may caution against having too many vehicles on map, there is a place for a variety of units but a smaller number of units is more realistic and more challenging.
The amount of vehicles is equal to the amount in the real world, I have actually removed a cupple because they would serve no purpose in the game
I have added all the cars outside the map because you are going to need all of them for certain events
