    This is the official forum threat of the Copenhagen Airport Mod. 

    In this modification you take control over Copenhagen Airports emergency services and have to take care of all events happening in the airport

     

    Features:
    - Mission based script
    - Tons of new vehicles and personel
    - 2 on map fire station
    - Entirely new call out system 
    - Tons of new scripts

  2. To itchboy and/or other modders..... How difficult is this to make? This is one thing that kind of disappoints me about the game. In single player, you have plenty of scenarios where buildings can collapse. However, in freeplay, you don't. Now, I know you would have to place the collapsible object on the map and it would look like crap. Why not make it some sort of construction site accident, or something of that nature? Also, how about a helicopter crash or maybe a small plane? Would that be too out of the way to create? I'm pretty sure this mod is going to be great regardless and I'm stoked about the new map. I just figured that I would throw out some suggestions on events to add.

    All that stuff should be possible to make :)

  3. Exams are over for now so as i promised there will be some updates now. 

     

    First of all we have made a new police chief vehicle. Original model and texure by Stormi and David. Same model as the fire chief. The new skin is made by Daneviking

    Besides the new vehicle we have also made a new script for the police which allows you to customize the police fleet in the mod and more than 20 different cars can now be controled and moved around as pleased. Below I have added a cuple pics of some of the cars.

  4. I've seen it. Its a work of art bro. Its beautiful. I could never imagine making one myself. Someday probably.

     

    It looks confusing because there are so much script in the same document :D 

     

    But what i did was taking a script from one of the original missions and delete everything except the headlines. Then i used US army mod as a reference to see how the Hoppah did it. 

    The rest was just makeing the features i wanted one at a time :) 

  5. Creating a mission script is very hard. Also, people would not be able use the mod in multiplayer.

    Did you create your own mission script with custom function calls or did you use the ones made by the Germans?

     

    Created my own, Check Helping Peter if you like. 

    Its not much harder than command scripts, i actually find it easier :) 

  6. The stryker script I use does not "trick" the game unfortunately. The game lifts the invisible injured person, which is why it makes the medic walk.

    EM4 forces units in FP to be upgrade level 3 at all times unfortunately. I am looking through every possible option (unit.xml, freeplaybase, EM4 SDK) to figure out a way to force them to walk.

     

    Maybe the solution is to make the game run as a mission then?

    I have made most of it work for Copenhagen, only problem with it, was that i couldn't figure out a way to make it possible to click on the missions like in freeplay, so it was almost impossible to find some of the missions 

  7. Hmm, you are proberly right itchboy, when i tested it, I only tried in missions. 

     

    But as far as i recall the styrker script i most mods tricks the game into thinking the paramedics are carrying an invisible person, and the game doesn't have any animations for running while carrying somebody. Not sure if its possible to change :)

     

     

    Yes, the SetUpgrade works in mission. You can try my mod Helping Peter if you hold down shift while using the move command the personel switches between walking and running :)

  8. So, I have a question with version 1.1, I try to deploy the fire boat from the rescue appliance and try to board it with a firefigher or diver. They run to the middle point on the map and not the boat and then nothing happens, has this happened to anyone else? Doesn't matter which of the three points I use, same result with all three...

     

    Great mod and I look forward to seeing 1.2 :)

     

    Oh, had totally forgotten that bug, thanks for reminding us. 

    We don't really have much news to tell about theese days because we are primarily bug testing and then i'm busy with school, but we are moving forward so we are slowly but steady getting closer to a release. 

     

    Our hope is to reveal some news about a new way people can costimize the police in game soon. Really excited about that one. 

  9. The volunteer script isn't taken from any of your scripts. I can promise you it is scratch made. Thanks for the help though with the other scripts you did.

    I know its not taken, I made the script from scratch to bama because he asked me to
