    Right click on the shortcut, go to "Properties" then click on the "shortcut" tab, then click on the text next to "target:" hit the space bar key on your keyboard and type "-editor" without the quotation marks. the whole text should look like this:    "C:\Program Files (x86)\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4\Em4.exe" -editor

    If you want to, I know that theres a video on youtube about this and some other functions to do with the editor.

In the editor, go to Edit>Materials in the top menu, there you can mess around with the traits of the materials in the game which correspond with the material you pick when creating a fire object, I'm pretty sure you can make fires harder to put out there, but I'm not sure how to make it spread slower, I believe to do that, you must experiment with that orange-red sphere that you see when you go to make the fire object.

    Yes the map is from scratch as I'm not a mapper I am doing the basics to it and I think it looks ok for a non mapper and script or the scripting needs tweaking massively as some of the things don't work that should do like adding more units to the game and also sorting out the missing units we don't have IE the units from backdraft E17 and T46 but we don't have a modeller to do this I'm a skinner and advanced lighting and basic mapping that I'm learning

  4. Hello, I'd like some help lighting, I know how to add, copy, place, and delete lights, change the flash rate, and the corona size, type of corona, what type of light it is,

    However, have no Idea how the polygons work, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Yeah, for the tiller trucks, I always thought they looked pretty cool in emergency 4 and probably better in em5.

  6. That's awesome! for the city in the American mod, I would prefer either LA, or Chicago, do you think it would be possible to remake the tiller script? If not I'd rather have Chicago, I just like how their rigs look, Chicago might be good for the police aspect of gameplay too.

My local airport (an international airport) is policed by the county sheriff and fire services are provided by the county fire department (which is a division of the sheriff's office). Not too sure about paramedics and technical services, that is going to be a bit hard as I don't know much about how they work in airports. But I have a good idea about callouts:

    1. Terrorist attack.

    2. Car theft in parking lot.

    3. Emergency plane landing.

    4. Pedestrian struck by vehicle.

    8. Luggage theft.

    9. Person carrying contraband past TSA checkpoint.

    And that's just ten. Some of these hinge on the possibility of creating new callouts, however.

    I see, well anyways keep it in mind for if you get bored after the Dutch and American mod are done, also once you are comfortable with emergency 5 modding you might want to make a few tutorials on it. Good luck!
