  1. Moved to the correct section for you. Looks good so far, will you be making a rear for it too?
  2. I may be wrong but I believe that some parts of the terrain on maps causes issues with the script. Try to aim for terrain that is a bit flatter - it may help. Very nice update, enjoying it so far.
  3. There was a downloadable thingy on the German forums which give you animations on the hydrants when you attach something to it. This was basically how I was going to do underground hydrants - have the standpipe model underground with a hydrant cover visible on the ground and when the animation is triggered it's just a one frame switch to an open cover with the standpipe setup. No complex coding or special units etc as it's all using the default EM4 hydrant with a couple of additions. Should work though unfortunately I haven't got around to that yet because I've been bogged down with mapping stuff so I haven't got anything to show you.
  4. Okay, well a bit more information would be useful but first of all - have tried what it has asked?
  5. Can't help you with your issue but a topic title that more reflects your issue may be useful for the other users of this forum so that they know what it is about without having to open and read everything.
  6. No problem, glad it works. Shouldn't be the camera edits either as I use them too.
  7. This is peculiar, I have an extremely low-end PC and don't have this issue. Two things to do is make sure the lighting setting is set to 'Game' (not On or Off), as the other settings - at least for me - slows down the editor considerably. The other thing is make sure you're not completely zoomed out as your PC may struggle trying to show all the map objects at once. If that fails to work then in the bottom left there is a 'Hide/Show' button that brings up a list of all the different elements on a map that you can hide from view.
  8. Not a problem, I used to do it all the time! Sounds promising, make sure to let us know if it works or not so that if/when others want to know in the future they can see the solution.
  9. As this is about EM2017 and was in the EM4 section I've moved the topic to the correct place for you. I don't own EM5/2017 but in Emergency 4 there was a file in a 'specs' folder that allowed you to change the frequency of missions. Maybe there is something similar?
  10. Can I ask that you do not double post again in the future as it is against the site's TOS. If you have something to add then use the edit button, I have merged them for you this time.
  11. Please refrain from double posting in the future as it is against the TOS. This time I have merged your posts. Good to hear you've got it sorted. The game can act a bit funny if you try and switch mod while on another mod.
  12. Did you restart your game before switching modification?
  13. This looks very well done, good job so far.
  14. I'd also say to utilize the 'cool' function, especially if you do as Itch said and place resources ahead of the fire. Cooled objects are less likely to catch fire and can really help stop the spread of it.
  15. Perhaps a title to better describe your issue will help others know what this topic is about. You'll find a lot of ones with vague titles simply get ignored and looked over. What file formats are you trying to put into your mod folder?
  16. Yup - http://www.moddb.com/mods/swat-4-graphical-enrichment-mod
  17. Still play SWAT 4 here, never gets old. I had a little search around and all I could find were skins and a graphic enhancement pack. While the GEP doesn't change the psychical models it does well to improve the look of the game. Other than those I don't think there are any around unfortunately.
  18. I've noticed on some mods that this can also be down to the fact that they use EM4 Deluxe objects/buildings, forgetting that not everyone actually owns these, resulting in missing items.
  19. What's been your process? Have you loaded a mod before loading a map?
  20. Ben12 requested on the first post that bug reports are submitted via the provided link.
  21. Unsure of what you're asking here, did you want to contact someone called 'croplayer' via email?
  22. If your PC cannot handle the Modification that well then crashes are likely, it's just where your computer get's stressed and starts to pull it's hair out. It can also be down to script errors, however these will normally make a new window giving the details of what script is creating the error.
  23. What is it you actually want to know about the game? Giving a simple run-down you have three ways of playing the game; Campaign, Freeplay, Freeplay Challenge - Each of which can be chosen from the main menu. Campaign is where you have to run your city and purchase new units by completing the campaign missions. Once you have completed a campaign mission you can re-play it at any time. Freeplay is where you complete smaller events which gives you money which you can then use to purchase additional vehicles and personnel. Selecting the challenge mode will make events more frequent and harder over time. Most mods will only work in these two modes. For mission walkthroughs see this topic -
  24. I believe so, I get a message asking for it to be updated on the first page when a new version comes out. The latest version is what TACRfan is working on now.
