I used it simply for the ease of it. I also use another forum via tapatalk, so I'd check both using the app without having to use the browser or anything. That, and also the notifications that pottyscotty mentioned.

I understand your reasoning for not keeping the support though.

To the OP, if this mod ever gets continued, PM one of the staff and we'll reopen the topic for you.

You can't load one mod, then load another one without restarting the game. If you want to switch mods, you have to close the game and then load your chosen mod otherwise it doesn't function properly.

What do you mean? The icons under your name? That's just related to how many posts you have, although it doesn't mean anything anyway. A member with 100 useful posts contributing to the forum is going to be far more appreciated on here than a member with 1000 useless posts. There's no point whatsoever posting for the sake of it.

Actually that's true, to be able to import/export you'd need the full version of Zmodeler. My bad! 

Blender is completely free, and there is a free .v3o import/export script. That might be the way to go if you want to learn modelling?

Depends what part of it you're working on. 

Take a look at the tutorials around the site. They all suggest programs to use for the various stages.

You're going to need a program for modelling, such as Zmodeler or Blender (the latter being free). Whereas skinning is going to require a paint kinda program, Paint.NET and gimp are two that are commonly used and both free.

There was a topic on the last page form less than a week ago. As has been said in the post above, dead topics are ones that haven't been posted in for many months or even years. This isn't dead, or in fact anywhere near!

well Ninja yes its worked finally but yet my question guess unanswered. The person who I wouldn't to answer my question was not you but Battalion Chief. so if you want to comment on how I ask my questions feel free to but, if you want me to be honest it was not for you to answer much less comment. Oh and thank for still leaving my question unanswered. 

OK, firstly, the bit to the left with firefighter, battalion chief etc. is not a username or anything, but rather a forum 'rank' so multiple people have each level. It's to do with how many posts an account has. So saying "you wanted Battalion Chief to answer" is just a tiny bit vague. You know what you should have used if you want a specific person to answer... the private message function. I think what it does is pretty self explanatory. That way you wouldn't get anyone else even attempting to do this horrible thing that is trying to help you. You know, I think you can use that to ask specific questions of specific people... rather than getting annoyed at other people replying on a public forum!

Secondly, apparently you don't really know what a forum is... anyone is free to reply to your question. I wasn't commenting on 'how you ask your questions', simply clarifying if you had got it working or not. It would have been a complete waste of time writing a post explaining something you'd already fixed... 

You'll find that the majority of the time people on here are simply trying to be helpful when questions get asked, so there is absolutely no need to be rude like you were. I don't care one bit if you don't think it was for me to answer or comment, you can't do anything at all about who replies to your posts. Don't like it, tough. I, on the other hand, can. You see the blue bar underneath my name on the left hand side? The bit that says moderator... Means I'm part of the staff team on here.  It's bad enough having your kind of attitude replying to normal members, we'd still end up getting involved. Instead you've decided to try and pick a fight with me... within 48 hours of being on here. Getting on the wrong side of us tends to result in warning points and the like.

Needless to say, I will now be watching you and your attitude. If it continues, your time on here will be very short lived. We don't appreciate anyone who makes this kind of first impression at all, and such users don't tend to last long.

I am having a problem playing this mod I downloaded it as a .zip file from megasync because that's where a couple of most above said to download it from. Then I tried to install it by using the install package from 911 first responders well it would not let me then I tried to drag it into the mods and play and then when I went to play it showed the little tool like it needed to be edited I click on it and then when I go to freeplay it makes me play the 911 first responder freeplay not the boston freeplay please help please!!!

My next question is what version is this and why are all of the trucks and vehicles already at the station and some not done yet like a ladder truck at one of the stations.

Does your second question mean you worked out how to install it?

Are you talking about the program from the download section that can edit freeplay parameters etc?

I don't really have much to suggest in terms of troubleshooting that, but if you tell us what you want to edit in the first place, we can assist in manually editing the correct files.

Okay, so here's how things are going to work. Since this mod in question is not available for download on this site, we're not enforcing the readme requirements and all that related to it as strictly HOWEVER there is a lot of things that still are in place. 

 

1. If a clan starts drama here, or any drama begins because of a clan, that clan is held liable. That means if you make an unpopular decision and people get pissed over it here, we're going to deal with you here. 

 

2. If you're advertising yourself here and providing links to downloaded material, that material better be within the terms of service of this site. If there's going to be squabbles over the original content authors versus the arrangement there is now, I'll shutter the thread and remove the links to the clan. Figure it out. If you need permissions, go get them. 

 

3. Members only modifications are still considered released public modifications, therefore are required to follow those rules.

 

Because of this problem, you're going to have to take one of three courses of action:

 

1. Obtain permissions for the mod you're using to be in compliance with Emergency Planet Terms of Service in relation to the usage of other people's work. This means you have to have permission from everyone that you are using their work. We will want proof of this

 

2. Remove the offending content from your mod, and continue advertising on Emergency Planet. We will want proof of this.

 

or 3. Request a close of this topic and cease advertising here. Continuing advertising will result in penalties and discipline as necessary

 

We've increased our expectations for clans over the past two years because the majority of infighting and problems on this board are in relation to clans. We hold them to a higher standard if they want to operate here.

No, but then they also don't use that particular vehicle as far as I'm aware, or have a fleet number like that on the rear.

Don't bother with Windows 8, Windows 10 is significantly better. 

Also, installing Windows 10 does not wipe your PC at all. Everything was exactly where it was prior to installation when I installed it.
