  1. Thanks, I'll definitely consider this. Damn that thing is enormous. Did they just convert an airliner into it?
  2. Who likes that bastards? Oh, and their response time is just outrageous. And that moment when you realize you called not enough tow trucks for a large-scale MVA and you need to wait for another one to come... Also, somehow they like to get onto rail crossings just in time to get rammed by a train.
  3. Well, you are mostly right, though in some missions this can be useful. In the mission 16, for example, placing roadblocks around the map is both roleplaying and functional. First time I've been playing, I've put them there for RP reasons, and they've proven to be useful. Also, there was a time I've played LA MP with my pal, and we ran out of budged, not even roleplaying.
  4. It may be that the event script was in the files all along, and a mod made on Deluxe version just "enables" it. This is a case with much of Deluxe resources. For example my Steam version of 911:FR has all the prototypes from deluxe, but not all models.
  5. US Army mod has one in it
  6. I believe headache racks are a bit more visible in side/front shots. Although maybe this particular isn't. If you could fix the photo, I may look into it.
  7. What's wrong with good old "cool them out with some water" And i don't meant the SWAT tank I mean send the FF plane on top of the demonstration, and an MCU after that
  8. Damn, that's though through. I used to get National Guard (Humvee + ambo or truck + ambo) to secure the shack and stop all of the armed terrorists that got through. At the same time, patrol cars blocked every and each road leading onto the map, but i haven't tried redirecting the vans. Just didn't realize they'd look at redirection lights while having explosives on board Sooo it usually ended up a big mess for USFS to deal with. Also, that seem to be some really nice and useful scripting out there.
  9. @ LAD23DER, Fred03 Thanks for the info. I'm probably going to add a spotlight, but will live the bed and winch as it is - after all, I made this unit following the existing Silverado's looks, but not copying it. NPS would be on-map units, so they probably should feel at least a little unique in comparison to the real units. Oh, and also my Silverado has different fog light placement (more centered) and the livery is a bit different. @Bugi007 Thanks
  10. Love that mission, though it fails to work with basic concept of locking down every road around the area of operations - the "firestarter" vans just keep spawning endlessly. Nonetheless, probably, the most police-action filled mission (not counting the third - it's just not challenging) Oh I remember that time I just started playing EM4, was still a big noob, and when I almost finished up with this mission (was trying to do it for a long time) LA Mod decided to crash on me.
  11. Thanks Well, winch is actually pretty close to being right, but VERY low detailed. Gonna work on it. The white thingie is called... well, I have no idea, and that's the issue with that . Maybe someone could help me out. I'm not sure if there is something in the bed or the bed is just covered eith multicolored, ehm... bedcover. Again, I would be grateful if anyone would send me more pictures of this particular truck, should they stumble on them.
  12. Yes, I know. I was more interested not in the truck itself, but in it's offroad accessories, if you will. Or, rather, if you (or, perhaps, itchboy, as he's the one who is doing models, as far as I know) is in need of their models.
  13. Whoops. Kind of missed that big glaring "Law Enforcement" printed on the side. Although it is the only USFS Silverado in such paint scheme I found (again, I might have missed something)
  14. LA Mod models are only locked the same way as original Em4 models. There should be a bunch of answer how to unlock these, just search the forum. No download that I know of. If I've understood you right, to make the edited texture work, just place it in the same folder, where the original texture was. If you didn't change with naming or it's aspect ratio (you can upscale and downscale, as long as the ratio stays the same), it should work just fine.
  15. The LA Mod's .dds textured are "locked" to prevent alteration. There is a long process of unlocking them, although the downloads section has a file with them unlocked under Modding/Textures
  16. By the looks of it it's original Emergency's mission 7 map. So either this mission or the LA Mod mission which uses that map. Also, did you model the USFS Chevy off of this one?
  17. Yes, it may look quite similar, due to asphalt texture being alike, although it is stated in first post, that this particular road was taken from Terrow's "Western New York map" (in this site's Download section). Later, it had new textures applied (this asphalt texture are CUSTOM MADE following a tutorial I found, without changing the layout anyhow. Actually, the first post has top-down shot of an earlier map edition that still has the actual road from Terrow's map. Added: Silverado Update NPS Park Ranger and OSP Fish and Wildlife Division Chevrolet Silverado Also, alternative Ranger model (for gameplay's sake, this one is planned to have full medical training while the "hat" one - only "stabilize") and OSP FaW officer Credits: Chevrolet Silverado model, Whelen Spotlight, Code3 21TR lightbar and antennas by itchboy Rambar by Engine.Co.7 Fog lamps, winch and rollbar basic models by Terminal Reality (4x4 Evo 2), convert and edit by Ace612 Personnel model edit and textures by Ace612
  18. Great USFS engine, both model and skin. And the pitcher's green, too? Coincidence? Rule 39
  19. I'm not a particular fan of European modifications, but I must say those vehicles look sweet
  20. Some scenery updates: National Park Service depot/firehouse Some roadside structures near the south-western corner of the map Serpentine updated to match overall road textures, including handcrafted roadmarkings Credits: Firehouse structure by Ace612 Motel by Rockstar Games, convert and edit by Ace612 Map by Ace612 Everything else credited before
  21. Thanks for all the comments I understand that you want to see this feature, but how is this related to a mod that puts so little emphasis on structural firefighting? A little tease for you guys Credits: itchboy - cab itself, steps, base bumper model SCS Software - base for bonnet, wheelarches Ace612 - morphing, editing, putting together Frankenstein movie - idea
  22. Well, this may not be the "right" way to do that, but that's how I do this kind of thing Find the needed structure in the editor, click "edit". A window will open, to the bottom of the window there will be those things where you set the path to the model itself, click "edit" button near the upper one, this way editor will try to open the model file. It may not find the path, but worry not, that specific file will now be unlocked for editing anyway.
  23. Wow, I love the semi tanker. Would it use the trailer logic or is it just a single long model?
