Probably the top online shop in the UK for PC parts. To add on to his point, avoid large retail chains. Although regional chains arent that bad. Please site some examples, because in my experience, and i throw builds together for people from time to time, there is always more bang for the buck on a custom build. Not to mention with a Dell(for example) you get what you get. You might be able to choose between an ATI or Nvidia gfx chip depending on your build. You may be bale to choose between 2,3,and 4 GB of RAM. You may get to choose between a 1TB hard drive or a 2 TB hard drive. The thing is your not choosing weather you want a Seagate,Western Digital Hard Drive, which are top quality drives usually, compared to what ever Dell choose to throw in there because they got a good deal on them. Not to mention the ability to over clock if you want, choosing your cooling methods, choosing your case, and nice cable managment. I built my rig back in December and with the i7 cpu chips growing more and more popular, of course Core 2 builds are getting cheaper, but anyways: Mozart TX Case Asus P5N-D Mobo Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 4GB Patriot RAM EVGA Nvidia 900GTX+ Pioneer 115 DBK Seagate 750 GB Hard Drive Corsair HX520 W Modular PSU All that for a bit over $1,000 USD. My guess is www.newegg.com and possibly a few pieces from www.TigerDirect.com @Rulerz, thats a pretty tight budget to work with. £100 will not get you much. I will see whats possible.

If I am correct the hazard lights dont actually serve a function. There just a cosmetic thing. Maybe I could replace the script for the hazard lights with the redirect script? Of course a few alterations will likely be needed, but wouldn't this be possible?

Is it possible to use both redirect lights and flood lights on say an ALS Ambulance? It doesnt seem possible since there both considered special lights but maybe i missed something.. Thanks for all your help so far guys!

Where are the light patterns saved? I assume its the e4p file?

^Actually theres no point in going over 4GB of RAM if running a 32 bit OS as Windows wont recognize the whole 4GB anyways. Whats your budget and I might be able to throw soemthing together.

I found that trying to put USAR in the Hazmat bay was a tricky fit as far as the game maneuvering it in there. The HES fits much easier and you still have jaws of life at both the stations.

I have a 3ds file fully modeled and painted. Is there a way to soem how get this to v3o and dds for use in EM4? Oh yeah I know Zmodeler can import 3ds and export to v3o but i have an error. I tried again and was able to export it to v3o but the v3o didnt really contain much or it it created an empty v3o file. The one that had a little in it was mostly all zeros.

There is one fire department on city limits that does have an ambulance called Dive Rescue 6 so I guess it is only used for medial response when water rescue is needed. Its a For E-450 I think, or E-350. In the city we have AMR Vintage and AMR Box styles. I'd say its about 50/50 on Van vs Box style. Which imo is pretty bad since were the third largest city in Indiana, and the largest city with in a 2,2.5 hour radius. Your allowed to do anything you want to the contents of the LA Mod if it is for personal use like this is. He isnt releasing it to the public just showing off screen shots.

Dotn wana take this too off topic but if you use say a flsh drive or DVD-RW to transfer, rather then networking, more compression may be of more use to you.

^oh I know. I wasnt suggesting anything that would over step boundaries. I probably didnt explain it well enough. Doesnt really matter as even what I was suggesting would be to much work for most people I would imagine, or atleast to intimidating. I have doen some light editing myself and completely understand what is involved.
